Yamraiha isn't dead, shes the one with the big boobs and sea shell bra

Coran

Yamraiha isn’t the girl who died, Yam is the blue haired magician that’s in Sindria that taught Aladdin. The girl who died was Dunya.

Revurus

nah, i side with the principle. The issue is that the "goi" on a fundamental level are fucked up. Yes, the ones under ground are "innocent", but what would they do with their freedom is the problem. His view is that they all end up the same way, just like the same people who stoned them, and used them as shields in war. And it wasn't just the people in that room, it was the ENTIRE country that used them. Anyways. #F***TheGOI

Jalen Perry

Y’all mixed Yamraiha and Dunya, the old guy was talking about Yamraiha who taught Aladdin in Sindria

Uriel Batuk

That's how people like Eren are made

Guns

Bro, he’s nowhere as evil as he’s presented as of now. What im getting from all of this for now is that: everyone under the city aren’t innocent people anyway. Look at them. The children down there were born there, not thrown down there so it was the goi’s choices that led to innocent lives being condemned in hell their whole lives cus they don’t care what happens to then and are just horny. That brings the question: why don’t the magicians bring up the newborn children above ground? Idfk bro ask them. And it’s in a timeline where everyone goes to war to expand their land anyway, so the cities being burned down my them are just normal occurrences. That brings the question: aren’t magicians supposed to be only dreaming about knowledge, not conquest? Idfk bro ask them. Why is he distributing magic items to criminal gois in other countries so they can kill other gois? Cus that proves his point of goi being trash but why is he helping them, idfk bro as him. I got nothing to defend this old man. Not relatable and poorly written villain. Why did i change my mind mid comment? Idfk bro, at least i tried to defend him

YaBoyNetero

How many times do y'all need to be clapped before y'all learn?! 😂😂

EmoBurrito

The villain has potential, since his motivation isn't that far fetched or bad. He truly believes he is doing good, and the logic behind it ain't bad. HOWEVER there as some inconsistencies. The distributing of magic items, like what is that all about? Because if he is behind it, then it really kind of makes his resolve seem weak. Also he would have a much STRONGER case if he would just let those who wanna leave, leave. Like I'm sure at least 70 percent of those people would stay, "no work, i just drink and fuck, its a good deal". You know what actually the more I think about it, the more unethical. Like fuck this guy is that old, I feel like I could make a better system. Okay no kids, and anyone who wants to leave, leaves. And then the incentives would be no work, drinking all day, fucking, partying, etc. Damn that wasn't so hard.

Guren

Man I still get chills when the ED starts playing (with the piano) during Mogamett's speech. The timing was just great. Basically he is like "I love the Magicians" but hates, looks down upon "Non-Magicians". I personally don't agree with the system he created since its bound to blow in front of their faces. He has "good intentions" but his hatred of non-magicians caused him to be blinded and unable to think of a better system which doesn't require the Goi to be treated as livestock. Whether you agree to him or not this has like caused alot of discussions back in the day when the manga and anime was still ongoing which was fun to read everyone's opinion.

QuitaMa

Did you guys notice the kids who look like the people who are with sinbad

Garlic

Aye look when I was a kid and I watched blood diamond for the first time I was on that Morgamette time. It aint right but I get it, especially since he lived it.

Maroki R6

The ending for the episode was so fire

Greg Harrison

The guy is basically magic magneto

Antonio

To embrace my inner-Roshi for a moment, if the world is comprised of the rukh, the truth is comprised of the rukh and it's logical that he, someone who has command of the rukh, would believe he's more fit to rule than those who don't. And I mean...he needed a means of protecting the country from outsiders and that could only occur by sacrificing the ...well technically in this case sacrificing the many to save the few, but the people down there are simply the offspring of those who put the magicians in that position in the first place. Of course I'd never want to be in that position but it's only a few thousand magicians, and if he simply displaced them it would run the risk of a ton of them coming back, and even moreso, runs the risk of a few of them becoming metal vessel users and returning.

KasaiKouhai

The problem is that in the same position the magicians would do and did the same thing.

Deku Kana

Dracula going crazy in magi

Revurus

In the flashback, all you have seen the magicians do was try and learn new ways to help their country thrive, no matter who was ruling. Before they got his daughter killed then bragged about it, his ideology was that his power was given to him to aid goi.

FreshxEli Tv

1.) the people down there are the off springs of the people from 30 years ago that’s what’s being implied they are doing the same thing they did when they ruled down there but that’s why they wanted the girl to be free because she is different than all of them 2.) He feels the magician’s should be the ones to change the world not “king candidates 3.) the king candidates literally can change the fate of the world literally 4.) he is doing things bad also but he isn’t wrong Sinbad , kou , leam etc empires and nations are all corrupted and they are Supposed to be the ones to change the world chosen by magi 5.) that’s more of the reason why she was telling Aladdin not to reveal himself as a magi because obviously they choose candidates to take Dungeons or create them and lead people there unless you’re Sinbad the singularity who just stole dungeons 😂😂 but still it’s more to everything but there is no right side everyone in power is corrupt in their own way

jerry smith

I’m sure someone has already mentioned it but once you guys complete Magi you should watch the Adventures of Sinbad. Its really good and gives a little backstory to Sinbad’s character :)

Maroki R6

they said they gonna watch that after this season. Its basically season 3

Random Guy

Honestly, If I was a magician there in that lecture hall I probably would have sided with Mogamett. I'm not saying he is completely correct, of course, but I think what he is doing is completely justified. It's also fair for the majority, with some minor exceptions. First of all, it's not like he is completely enslaving all gois. There are gois who are soldiers, scholars, merchants, and government officials aboveground. Two, the gois underground are provided everything they ever need (food, water, shelter, etc) and more (booze and other vices, they even had books in there). Three if you were healthy, it seems like you wouldn't feel even feel sick from getting your magoi sucked out like that because there are like 200k of them down there, it's probably taken equally from them, like how the more people carries an object the lighter it becomes for each person carrying it. Four, you can actually get out of the underground by being useful to society and actually getting a job such as being a soldier, a merchant, a scholar(what marga wanted to be) or any skilled labor. The main reason why most of them are stuck in there is that they don't wanna work when everything is given to them. They are pretty much bums. The only major issue I see is that people who are sick or with weak constitutions can die. It can easily be tweaked of course, but Mogamett only sees gois are animals so he doesn't really care. The only reason Marga was there underground is the fault of the adults who came before her (the chief confirmed this). I feel like this can easily be fixed by a magician who cares about gois like aladdin and alexius, as you will see in the next episode. We are only biased towards Mogamett and the whole system because the show had given us this pre-conceived notion that Magnostadt is a bad place and Mogamett is this evil person spreading magic weapons to bandits and pirates.

Skebaba

Also it's not like ALL Goi are underground, only the social rejects (i.e the slum people you meet in any kingdom except prolly Sindia we have seen so far, slum ppl quite often OUTNUMBER the normal non-slum people, w/ the 1% ruling and maybe like 20-30% of normies being low income households back in the day, just barely enough so they can survive without slum-tier shit happening to themselves. It's much the same in Magnostadt, except the 1% is magic users only, and the 20-30% are artisans or other non-brokeass bitch Goi (or Goi from Magic lineages who can't use magic due to bad RNG, it can happen inversely as well, like how Magicians are born to Goi parents sometimes RNG wise)) are. Their conditions are still better than in the slums of most of those big boi countries, since they got welfare system going on in Magnostadt at least, and there's neither coldness nor hotness you suffer from if you are underground like that, either. From a pure slum POV, that's literally heaven, not having to work yet not die either (as you can see, only bad RNG ppl like ones w/ heart problems or other organ failures like that die in their 10's or earlier, but that's what happens in non-Mage kingdoms too, in said slum areas, w/ about similar life-expectancies where your slum pissants generally die in their 40's or 50's max)

To put this in perspective, this is very similar to Eren's reasoning from attack on titan. His people had remarkable power and were used as weapons of war, persecuted, and executed in a holocaust whereas magicians here were slaves for the ruling class of Musta'sim and likely many other nations. Both Eren and Mogamet reasoned that if they were to be oppressed by another, seemingly inferior people then that was unjust, and the paradigm should flip to allow those who were gifted to be in power. And that does make some sense; shouldn't the people with magical powers able to better innately understand the world be the ones in charge? This wasn't even his purpose, as he didn't want power for power's sake but rather to protect other magicians at normal human's expense, even though the lower-class humans in Magnoshutatt were treated better than magicians in Musta'sim being provided for. While I concede that this does make him about as bad as those who oppressed him beforehand, it is not unreasonable for Mogamet or most magicians to come to the same conclusion, which makes for a fascinating conflict. TLDR: Mogamet and Eren from AOT share a lot in common, believing their gifted people should not stand oppression by any means necessary. While not flawless, it's understandable how both chose to act.

Ougi

ngl i watched sinbad first and that made magi a much better experience imo

Erica Collins

Ain't no way this man Roshi is actually disagreeing with Mogamett…The same guy who sides with Dracula & Eren lmao see how y’all feel about Mogamett is EXACTLY how I feel about eren. & Ik people are gonna go CRAZY with the “but they’re two different shows. Two different situations.” argument lol but at the end of the day it’s the same concept But fr tho where’s the real Roshi…

Patrick Jane

will they ever watch sinbad ?? or nah ??

Spriggz

I could swear your description read "man POOPED in the orientation DVD" Lmao I was waiting for a bathroom scene the whole episode xD

Ranginald Vagel

In most countries you don't get your entire neighborhood murdered by the neighborhood watch for trying to leave the slums. It's not a slum, it's almost textbook serfdom.

Dark Danny

He’s more like Geto then Madara

Mob Tricky

Should check oujt Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!

Arc

Yoooo the video with the whip lady that Lupa was talking about is hilarious

NocticKid

Unironically very similar to AOT situation with Eren and The Squad

Jigga Man

Listen man, magicians were being sent to the front lines. Magnostat at least just drink and fuck your life away.

Ramone Moore

Cant wait for the sinbad reactions

Devin B

The crazy thing is Mogamett had do deal with decades of discrimination and lost his daughter and fellow magicians before reaching to the conclusion that the goi are irredeemable. Dracula was dealing with prejudice too but no one was trying to do anything to him up until they killed his wife. If anyone has a reason to condemn a group of people for doing wrong against his people it's definitely Mogamett cause imo he definitely went through a lot more than Dracula.

BlueMop91

I KNOW YALL ARE GETTING CONSTANT REQUEST… but, there’s a new anime “The Eminence of Shadow”. That’s really good right now! When y’all get a chance maybe a reaction?!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

OldManMag

I fkin love Mogamett's VA(Same as brook in one piece) Hes so damn good at portraying emotion.

Damarcus Miller

A schedule wasn’t posted for this week.. the last schedule was last week unless it’s not updated every week

Damarcus Miller

Nah scroll past like 3-4 weeks.. the schedule was different on the three of those. Shouldn’t be a “rude ass” if You not sure what you talking about sir😂😂 the shows were changing so they updated the schedule like 3 different times but not this week so maybe it’s the same as last week, which is why I ask my question. So you can take your smart ass answers & gtfo

EZ

sorry common sense is a struggle for you lol

Merfhew

Let's get along everyone. @EZ - Last week, To Your Eternity came out on Thursday.  This week it came out on Monday.  I was quite pleased by this development, because I love the show, but your comment about the schedule being the same every week is incorrect. @Damarcus - Although he was incorrect about the schedule being the same every week, their Wednesday schedule has been pretty consistent.  Mob Psycho and Peaky Blinders have been uploaded every Wednesday for the past three weeks, so you'll probably see those again today.  I would assume Cyberpunk comes out today and again tomorrow. @Merfhew - Stop inserting yourself in arguments.

Merfhew

Glad I could help! :) Fingers crossed that I didn't jinx it. lol

The Force

Honestly if Sheera walked down the street with a whip, picked a random person out, and cracked it at them saying "AND YOU'RE MY SLAVE NOW" there's a surprising number of people who would just go for it xD

Aziouss

Isent just the typical Isekai harem trash? Did I judge it too quickly? It is supposed to be a parody of that but it devolved into it...

Aziouss

Gandalf wasn't talking about the princess who died he was talking about alladin's teacher the water mage working with Sindbad.

Lemonkatze

the only compliant i have abt this show is the like blatant parallels of magicians and jewish ppl and the magicians being lowkey villains

Isaac

Clappidy clap clap clap

LaudyMadeCam

Roshi you getting clapped today my guy…how you can agree with ya boy Eren Yeager but not this guy😂😂 they pretty much doing the samething👀👀

Rot

Do take into consideration that the magician oppression hasn't even been that long ago, so while we're seeing some magicians triumphing outside of Magnostadt, its not always the case.

Jeff

I mean I guess we see what we want to see. Nothing uniquely jewish about magician history in this show and at no point are they made out to be any more villainous than nonmagicians. If you're making allusions to things you shouldn't be, still doesn't change anything. Everyone and everything in this series is either an abuser of power or a victim of the same. And often enough they are both, as shown here.

Ec Aea

Any story can be spun a certain way as long as you try hard enough. Naruto is just a story of a child soldier groomed to fight against terrorist and gods.

Ketsu

turned out he was struggling with common sense himself

Ramone Moore

Me n lupo finally inna same boat cause I did not know niggas noes still growing at 80😂

Wolf

Because Erens the protagonist and Mog is not, basically. Protagonist centered morality is pretty common, even if it’s hypocritical (such as with this comparison)
