Dawg how much time passed?? Not sure if it was specified

Comments

ok

lol i mean the fact that they just created some imaginary stair case and added it into their argument made me laugh so hard. like yea no shit if there were stairs there then he should've used them, there obviously weren't any 😂

you probably didn't like the tragic ending but still.... L opinion

Offw0rlder

Doin' another rewatch, loved this series. Julio's design was nova, too bad he flatlined so soon. Shame when a character looks dope just to get zeroed in 5 minutes lol, I would've liked to see him get some character development.

Cheesey1

they did julio like tsunades brother lmao

Seachelle

I think the timeskip was a year, give or take a few months. Not that much time

Mirrorline

Around 1 year time skip. David is 18 now. The year of 2076. So 1 year before the game started.

Bosastar

I think a year past

Random Guy

All that's been confirmed that he went from 17 to 18, but we don't know if it's been months or a whole year

Comfortable Gaming

Idk how much time passed from ep 6 to 7, but at this point in the story the year is 2076, a year before the events in the game take place.

Weltall Gaia

"What happens when the elevator breaks? You can't leave?" They burn the building down and build on the ashes. Thats how we do in the dystopian future.

Totally Thomas

YAY! Sheera read my comment on Cyberpsychosis! Plus, she's right about Tanaka's files being sabotaged.

jesse almonte

So listen, Lucy is fine, but David should recognize that Rebecca is a far superior woman

Venom9518

Real question. Does David has genital enhancements?

Mirrorline

Some more fact about Cyberpsychosis is that the more mentally unstable you are, the easier you succumb to it. So people with depression, anxiety and other mental illness will easily fall into cyberpsychosis. Also in the game, they stated that women are more resilient than men when it come to cyberpsychosis. Also also, the MaxTac team are made out of people that have cyberpsychosis. So the whole squad is made up of functional cyberpsychosis like Adam Smasher.

Kingmakaii

Yeah sheera you understood it correctly she saw something on David and corrupted it

KingdorismHD

It's been only less than a year

Weltall Gaia

Also in the tabletop you have an empathy stat I believe and more mods decrease it. Hits 0 you become a cyberpsycho. In the video game severe trauma plus really shitty mods will push you towards it. Its not entirely dissimilar to a full on psychotic break, the difference is all the mods turn people into walking tanks. They may be able to resist longer because the mods make them harder physically and emotionally, but when something hard finally breaks it breaks violently. A person's ability to cope and process trauma and how well they keep their humanity will allow them to avoid psychosis unless something severely traumatic happens or they keep attaching really shitty low quality mods, or ultra high spec mods that strain you physically and mentally.

Lightbane1905

Nah bro, Lucy out there protecting her man 😤

Mirrorline

Because there's a huge misinterpreted info at the end, im going to comment on only things that have been shown in this episode and previous episode to avoid spoiling stuff. Lucy wasnt controlled by Arasaka. The netrunner that she killed at the end of the episode was Arasaka's netrunner (judging from the conversation that he had before he got killed). They were investigating about Tanaka's death because there were a data breach. They said the data that was inside Tanaka got erased completely without a trace so they are trying to find who did it (obviously it was Lucy back in ep 6) and finding out what the hacker (lucy) knows after hacking him. Lucy went to kill the Arasaka's netrunner to tied some loosed end in order to protect either herself or David. Most likely both and that is why she is not in the crew.

Totally Thomas

The MaxTac fact I didn't know about! That is really interesting!

Panda

You dudes def adding info they didn't need to know yet, and will be revealed later lmfao.

ADDS08

Sorry Roshi but I gotta 👏👏 Roshi - I think David is trying to get big enough so that he can use Maine’s arms. Also Roshi - 👁 👄 👁 as he looks at buff David with Maine’s arms talking about how he would rather not upgrade his arms to new tech. 😭😭😭

gamerman1902

Becca is a mf real one. I felt so bad watching her be so clearly head over heels and David just clearly not seeing her that way at all. Lucy’s problem is that she’s emotionally unavailable and doesn’t communicate well. You can see why this is the case due to her past trauma but unfortunately it partially is what leads to the events that follow. If she kept David in the loop with her activities they could’ve worked on a solution together smh

YaBoyNetero

You guys misintrepreted the ending. The netrunner that Lucy killed was trying to find out why Tanaka's file was corrupted. Lucy purposely destroyed the footage of David in Tanaka's file to prevent Arasaka from coming after him because she discovered that he's been chosen to be one of their test subjects during the deep dive. Lucy killing the netrunner was just her cleaning up loose ends, which she's clearly been doing for a while behind David's back.

Omar Bautista

They couldn't take the stairs because Maine was blocking the Entrance. I have the in-game maps if you want to see Just take the L on this one

ElevenZero

he was referring to the cannon, Maine's arms are much bigger, he only managed to install that

Morningstar777

David was 17 during episode 6 and had turned 18 during the timeframe between 6 and 7 however since the show takes place in the year 2076 a year prior to the events of the game we can deduce that the time skip between episode 6 and 7 was less than a year so probably only a couple months

Mirrorline

Yeah im pretty sure the stairs was behind Maine. Im sure some police did manage to get out but the one that were shown got killed by him was at the other end of the exit where the elevator was and that is where they got trapped by Maine.

Jargo

"You look like a cut of fuckable meat. Are you?" - Adam Smasher

SuperSickMedia

The funny thing is that the Cyberpunk world is just that messed up that safety protocols that we take for granted just do not apply for everyday citizens.

Smash Bran'Discootch

Yo the first thing i'd get is a penis with an engine and a rip cord that you start up like a lawnmower. I mean, my junk is basically ornamental at this point anyway, so might as well.

Smash Bran'Discootch

Falco's VA is Sylas Briarwood in Legend Of Vox Machina lmao. He's the southern dude who drives for them. Matt Mercer is a gem.

Smash Bran'Discootch

Also I love how they do the "telephone" calls. They sort of stutter or say words twice in a row rapidly. I think that's really awesome because they're basically communicating with their thoughts so it would make sense that it wouldn't be quite as smooth as vocal speech. It's a really nice touch.

Ricardo Lopez

The song was called "let you down" and and there is a music video for it that has main and his crew and a girl named sasha that joined before

Dude Man McGee

LMAO i love that they called out that comment

John Ross Lorenz V. Mirania

You guys should really start pausing videos if you want to discuss something so that you won't miss important details on the shows you watch.

Xplixit

The time skip was about 1 year and few months

Kisuke01

All these cyber enhancements really got me questioning if his dick still works normally and if they still shit because they're entire bodies be replace by just metal.

Moon

Also plays cassidy in Overwatch and knew he sounded familiar

dez

All the missions in Cyberpunk 2077 are also song titles

Thiivi

The time skip between episode 6 and 7 was only a few months.

Chris

Man I love this show. By the way, y'all should try Andor sometime down the road. It is...just so truly special as a show. I think you'd have one hell of a fuckin time with it.

Ougi

they probably have self-wiping asses tbh

Randle Dandle

There were stairs in the building Dorio and Maine died in as we saw David running up them. That being said david was winded so it was probably several floors.

Grelk

mcree

Mervyn Larrier

What's sad to me is in that world they have stuff called bioware that you can use to upgrade your body nearly risk-free. No associated psychosis. Maybe if David had grabbed some tissue lace and augmented lungs he wouldn't be so borged out so quickly.

Mervyn Larrier

Also, story starts in about 2075 and takes place before the game, so like, a year, maybe a year and a half tops.

Chris

The game establishes folks can get robo-dicks so he probably has one of those lmao

hokeypokey

??? Did they miss the whole part where they explained that the guy Lucy killed at the end was trying to find the info that went missing from Tanaka?

hokeypokey

I don't think they should pause but its crazy how they completely missed the explanation of what happened at the end with Lucy like 20s before it happened xD

Old spice El

My favorite quote in the entire game👌

hokeypokey

This deffs contains spoilers.

Kisuke01

@Chris Overstreet I forgot about that

Smash Bran'Discootch

Rebecca is probably my favorite character in the whole show. And her VA absolutely smashes it!

Smash Bran'Discootch

I had thought too that it was something like if you had more augmentations than your cyberdeck could handle it could also lead to cyberpsychosis? I could be completely wrong and half-remembering things lol

Chimera134

A lot of people don't realize, but you can actually see how much Lucy really loves David already. She just fucks up because she keeps what she's doing a secret because she's trying to protect him. Same with David, even though Lucy can handle herself he keeps doing more and more jobs to get money for her and stuff and he doesn't tell her whats going through his head. They are both trying to protect eachother from things, but by not telling eachother whats going on it makes everything worse.

CrackerJack

Idk why but love the Overwatch voice actors in this show

Kevin

Cyberpunk is a world, where sharing your past, and private thoughts, is waay more intimate than showing your nude body. VR, Commercials, you can see them nearly everywhere.

Paulothy

I forgot what it's called, but theres a cyberdeck you can get installed that gives you short quick bursts of slow mo, like a much more nerfed sandevistan. That could be what the big Malestrom guy was using

SurKhan

"You look like a cut of fuckable meat. Are you?" - Adam Smasher

Rusty

So while it seems random that the episode titles are songs its not as randome as you would think. Most of if not all the quests names in the game are also song titles. Some good ones at that. 3 that i remember off the tol of my head are Pyramid Song, Riders on the Storm and Beat on the brat.

Art

istg I thought Falco was about to say “its high noon”

faded

More like a year. David‘s 18 now.

Lyandro

Yea they misunderstood that whole scene, but by next episode I'm sure they're gonna realize

Lobstar

Rebecca was Wearing Her Brothers Big Ass Hands

Rot

"Is that Gus?" Lmaooo

Arc

Lucy just has her own agenda, that's why she's not with the crew. She's not being controlled

Rot

I think genital enhancements are memed on, since Pilar was clowning on that one cyberpsycho for having a plastic dick. Its also understandable as to why people'd be clowned on for it.

Rot

Yeah, Pilar was also clowning on that one cyberpsycho for having a 'plastic dick' seconds before having his head blown off. I also think they don't have to anymore, the spine's the most complex system ( asides from the brain ) in the human body and its casually replaced, so I could see intestines casually being swapped out for something else to convert food into energy.

Patcharapol Arunwatthanangkul

yeah Sheera was right, Lucy was trying to protect David by corrupted his info and went after anyone digging/recovering it.

Mikaele Rosecrans

From here on out you’ll understand why Rabecca is best girl

Thiivi

I believe the entire show takes place in the year 2076 though. It's possible he was well into his 17th year at the start, but idk for sure

HIM

It was explained in an interview with the Creator that there is a stat in the OG RPG game called "Humanity". It is based in the real-world factors that would lead a person to being sane or ultimately going insane. Things such as overall quality of life, ability to love, amount of family and friends, etc... It's explained that David had a pretty normal life before episode 1. A loving mom, a failry trouble free life, a great education... It might not seem like much, but compared to living the life Maine must have or even the super soldier dude, David's "Humanity" was pretty far above theirs. Also, not having chrome before the Sandy was also part of his tolerance being high (if you didn't get high your first time smoking, it's kinda like that). Anyways, it's one of those things from the RPG that never officially made it into the video game, HOWEVER, there's a pretty great community of Modders that modded Cyberpychosis into the game now. It's one of the coolest mods I've ever seen. Edit: After 10 watches, I can only assume only 1-3 months have actually passed here. Lucy and David look like they've lived together ever since episode 6, but she's been telling David she needs time, over and over again. The apartment upgrade doesn't take any time, and David LOOKS older, but as Faraday points out, He's MOSTLY Chrome now. Nobody else seems to have aged. Also, the conversations about what happened sound like nobody really got a chance to talk about it.

Bosastar

They are not controlling her, why would they make her attack their own guy

Darren Banks

Lol I just love how lost they are with this show. Especially lupa, as the only one with any memory of any of the lore. 🤣😅

Alexander S

He’s the voice actor lol

Savage

If it wasn't clear from the episode, Lucy is basically going around trying to keep the information on David covered up that she got rid of when they captured Tanaka. There was information and it was on David and she's not working with him because she's trying to protect him from Arasaka. This is not a spoiler since it's all explained in this episode if you pay close attention but I didn't catch it first time so I wanted to let you guys know.

Dimitri Zackaev

I absolutely love how at 7:10 when David jumps over that big brute, his arm afterimage looks like angel wings

L.C.

You guys fully switched up on what you meant and said last episode about the guy leaving and running away but I won't say anything else. I don't see how he was gonna go anywhere else besides run around maine himself since he was stuck in a hallway.

Rot

Yeah but what made it funny's that Roshi referred to him as Gus and not Faraday

rayitillyo

I think they were trying to leave but from what I saw Maine was too wired up to leave he was caught up fighting and Dorio just didn’t wanna leave him alone :/ feels bad, but great video y’all

BornUnMotivated

The hacking that kiwi did that whole imagery is exactly how it looks like in the game. Wakako is also in the game and there are missions that go just like the first 8 minutes. It's really cool all the little things they put into this anime add up.

Paulothy

I think so, yeah

JoJo

Sweet home reaction?

ChickenDinners

This show started off strong but fell off heavily for me. There was so much emotional connection the the characters at first but then it all kind of fell away as the episodes went on. I kind of stopped caring what happened to them especially with the major time skip.
