Yeah it really is kinda Surprising they never picked up the show again, story added this gets even better, plus the action was only just really picking up now that one of the main characters can do the full djinn equip This final battle really just teases what they characters in the setting can do then they didn’t finish it lol

roshi.. when i tell u in the manga it gets CRAZY, the power scaling goes beyond this. they couldnt continue with season 3 because at the time the hype for this anime wasnt as big, without the funds to animate the next seasons it fell thru

The mangaka kind of messed up the ending to the story from what I was told by people who read it and gave up a series that was working for her and decided to spend time on Orient ( which is hot garbage btw and I dont recommend even tho I tortured myself thru every episode so far )

It came out during a pretty bad time, A-1 wasn’t getting enough funding, times of Broadcasting was bad. Plus this Anime is Very Political, given that’s it’s a Shonen Anime, the Manga crossed a lot into Seinen Features. It’s a legit insane series that was overlooked unfortunately

Doesn’t mean it’s impossible to get more seasons does it? Unless the studio is out of business now, but even then another studio could pick it up, would need a good reason to pick it up though :( like a sudden burst in popularity or something

I liked the manga. The ending was kinda mid just because it didn't feel like a proper conclusion. Honestly, a lot of shows end like that, I wanted to see just a bit more of the aftermath of it all. Still, I liked the manga.

The studio is not out of Business, in fact it’s a TOP Studio in Japan, alongside MAPPA and Ufotable. But the problem is that they won’t produce anything that won’t hit BIG numbers for them. Everything about money these days. But potentially they could do it. Orient was produced this year, and Magi Community is very Vocal, maybe a year or two from now

A-1 picture is not out of business , they're the studio that animated Kaguya sama , Lycoris recoil , SAO , 86 and many more. I believe they splurge too much funds on SAO man. Magi not getting a third season is such a Tragedy.

rumor is that magi had a significant downturn in popularity because their publisher wanted new blood in- in addition to some problems with finding a new publisher and cycling around new management, the later arcs get pretty rushed and they never recovered their fanbase from when the series aired

so in this order i watched the sinbad show read the manga (because all of the events in that how and manga take place before magi and ends at the very start of magi) then watched magi and read the manga like you guys said sinbad is truly the mc cause his show and manga was better then magi don't get me wrong magi was still a good 9/10 (anime and manga) in my book but sinbads adventures is actually perfect when i got to this episode i already watch and read sinbad and meeting all the generals that it showed was like a hit you see them older and just remb all sinbad went through and another thing they said at the end is that its been 48 eps and the story moved on smoothly the manga is just like that and it just gets better and better so i 100% RECOMEND reading and watching magi but before you read it watch sinbad and read that for a better understanding of everything
