The more I rewatch this show the more I notice. Like how Rowan is a time capsule of the 1970s(With his colored suit , Afro, Disco, even down to the way he speaks with his use of "A brother" and "Make a dime") . Just like the old american cars you typically see in south east asian countries; they never got the update. The attention to detail with the characters in this show is something to look out for.
