Lion Yakuza is a big L

I think I remember watching National Geographic channel saying the female Lions are the ones that primarily hunt for the pack, while the Males sit around lol. So it makes sense why this Lion Mafia of male lions went down so easily, lol.

Are we getting another alice or next week, happy new year btw

Kozmo

i think its 1 a week but at the end of the last vid Roshi said they going to watch episode 3 today so who knows?

Smash Bran'Discootch

10 episodes in and sheera is still calling the bunny "Hal" 😂

Spriggz

Those Lions were trash lmao. Like damn, they a whole gang with no weapons? Why not just call the police and scoop them up

Charlie baker

Because they are lions and its evidently a herbivore dominant society so pretty dangerouseven if there weren'tprobablycops on their payroll (never understood how but then again I dropped it after s1)

JsnSkg

I think it's called a will, not a farewell note. Lol.

Haru lived a disturbing childhood indeed. I always interpreted the mom's "be prepared" not as a warning to keep your wits about you but a ominous way of telling Haru to prepare and resign herself to the inevitable outcome of her death. That wouldn't sit right with me either hearing that as as an adult rather than a child.

Mozart Waddell

Yeah in this situation I'm not giving up my shirt. You uniform is like 3ft away from you. Lions got claws. I would want those extra layers of fabric. Especially a thick uniform polo.

Joshua

lions are over rated. im more scared of a gang of hippos

DZ

In the manga they have weapons, even the panda has a fucking machine gun, but they censored it in the anime

Devin B

I think what the mom said is up for interpretation cause you can take it as her telling Haru to give herself in to her inevitable fate as prey or you can take it as be prepared for whatever decision you make when you're facing death. Haru experienced first hand how weak she is and decided to interpret what the mom was telling her as her resigning herself to death but in this moment she decided to fight against her fate until the end. Basically you can interpret what the mom said as be prepared to either do nothing or do something in the face of death the choice is yours.

Hearing her herbivore mom telling young Haru this, would've been a nice tie in Haru character. Her mom explaining to her fight or flight is makes a lot sense. I re-watched the scene and she could've genuinely been telling her that to keep her daughter alive. Thinking back to episode 1 she did have to make that conscious decision to escape Legoshi instead of being willingly devoured.

earthphoenix7068

That’s way more realistic imo, Panda overpowers lions with a M249 Saw vs Yakuza with pistols

RenVII

That bunny arch was making me act up fr

Chuzo

crazy to think that the creator of Beastar's is the daughter of the creator of Baki talent just runs in the family it seems

AndrewDAHL

This show makes me realize how terrifying the Polar Bear mafia from Zootopia would be. The Lions seem pretty shit though like none of you got any blades, and your not gonna claw him, the episode with the Tiger fight during the play was way better than these bums.

Kwaku Afari

This is the gang that the whole town is scared of?

Belt Cedd

They kept showing the arch to remind the audience what Legoshi was fighting for.

ShaquanVirse

It figures, the weapons got censored

ShaquanVirse

That arch was something serious

Bosastar

Male lions are too lazy😂

ChickenDinners

the lion yakuza would've seemed way more serious if they kept the weapons from the manga. Gouhin even had a machine gun. They tamed everything down for television.

n momo

So they nerfed the dangerousness of shishigumi... Why??
