Didn't Aguni get shot multiple times before he tackled Niragi into the fire flames though? That's why I presumed he would be more dead then Niragi but he seems to be in better shape. I guess Niragi did get flame throwered before hand so it makes sense

"Why would she believe him after 2 people told her the same thing?" 2 other people telling her the same thing isn't that big of a deal particularly when she doesn't trust either of them and does trust Matsushita. Like there are only 3 other suits Chishiya and Yaba would have to choose from to lie about. The idea that both of them would pick the same suit to voice as a lie isn't really that far fetched. I will also say that while we don't know for sure whether it's the case here or not in the manga Matsushita was revealed to be a hypnotherapist and had actually hypnotized her into trusting him completely. And it wasn't that he died because he guessed the wrong suit he gave up and basically committed suicide because Yaba and Banda were torturing him.

Revisited the manga version of the Jack of Hearts, it’s honestly the first game that I think is objectively way worse in the adaptation. Series has a good enough track record that I don’t mind all that much but I do recommend just checking out the original version of this game, starts on chapter 44 of the manga. By the way, the rule was that you can’t use force to prevent someone being able to give an answer. Killing obviously would make someone unable to answer so that’s a no go. Physically barring someone from getting to a cell, or removing their mobility so they could get to a cell too. But keeping someone in their cell, and torturing them? Well as long as you leave their ability to speak, there’s no problem as far as the rules are concerned.

The Prison game was interesting. I wish this season had more games like that, things get a little...Hollywood for my taste later on in the season.

There is no order for the suit to appear, or else they would find out by now. Also remember the total players in this game after each round is not fixed anymore as we can't predict how many of them died, so it's no use trying to guess the suit by yourself.

not sure if yall remember, but in ep 1x1, arisu, karube, and chota were gathered together in the city talking with each other. it was when they were leaning against the wall and karube said that arisu would be the one to survive a zombie apocalypse. afterward there was a particular moment where arisu was on karube's shoulders and there were fireworks that went off in the sky. the police showed up and the three of them ran to the bathroom to hide. when they came out that's when everyone disappeared.

Full auto irl actually sucks unless you are super close. It's funny when you think about military rifles barely being better than an ar-15 if they are the same caliber. Although the King of Spades shooting in bursts and not completely spraying though so there is some crazy ah plot armor going on.

I think it was more of a subtle taunt. He said he already figured out their plan early on, and if they didn’t want to share suits I wouldn’t find it weird if they don’t want to take snack advice from a stranger they don’t even trust.

Idk why you’re bringing up Cheshiya’s addition, that has nothing to do with it. Yaba’s big speech in the end about what makes trust really doesn’t hit when you haven’t seen every other character’s attempts at control, as well as cutting most of what they did in the game so you don’t really even know what kind of people Yaba and Banda are. Also a lot of changes that straight up don’t makes sense, like why not have Yaba and Banda straight up say, “we teamed up because we both wanted to become citizens and respected that”? I think Mitsurugi’s role in the game shouldn’t have been cut either. If anything, Mitsurugi’s role was the sole reason the game wasn’t completely stakes free for our cast. They put a lot of spotlight on Urumi’s group instead which doesn’t fill the void at all. Turned a bunch of interesting people who at the very least quickly distinguished themselves as characters and tried their best to survive into a bunch of gormless unmemorable dopes who wiped themselves out while looking stupid. Quick example: the thug who beat up the wimpy guy IMMEDIATELY recognized that he was being lied to because of fucking course he wouldn’t immediately assume he’d get the truth and has the basic ability to read a room, but the show just makes him look like a dimwit. Cheshiya being added is not even a little problem. It’s everything else. I really wanted to see Yaba killing Mitsurugi and Kariya in live action, that scene was just brutal. At least Banda still got to manipulate SOMEONE into dying. Yaba did fuck all all game except stand there and look admittedly cool. I don’t hate the live action ver, but the manga game very very good and this is just good.

based on my suspects only one person should have died: homegirl's partner. hoody is a main character, banda (in my theory the jack of hearts) knows his suit, and the others were all told the right suit on their collars. the only surprise is who the real jack of hearts is. there was definitely only the sound of one explosion like roshi noticed

not all prisons use the exact same colors. my dad's prison were blue with white t's and there are some that use black, others that use beige and some that are all white. its not a country thing, its a location thing. banda is just dressed like an average asian dude who isnt into fashion. five seconds in the countryside of japan and you see a ton of them

rewatching this episode with yall made me think of what that one ex-beach girl said in the film flashback. she said people get transported to this world at different times, so my question is if they are transported at different times why havent their loved ones in the "normal" world filed missing person alerts, or them just make it public on the news etc? it couldve at least brought awareness to the people in "normal" japan and prepared them to a degree. i mean they had created the beach and we know that shit wasn't built in one day. hopefully this makes sense lol

There are usually more than 1 way to figure out these games so your pattern idea for the symbols may be right and just nobody figured it out. I feel like that’s something that a person like Arisu would figure out since he would be trying to find a way for everyone to live. White hair dude (forgot his name) is more of the type to use and manipulate people so maybe he was so focused on other people’s actions that he just never thought of the idea that the symbols may have a certain pattern.

Yea I agree. This season and show as a whole is fine, but as most people are saying the manga adaptation is considerably better. Much less plot armor, much better handled thematic stuff, an even more unique and prominent cast, better versions of the games shown, etc etc.
