honestly, ive never been more annoyed with Takemitchy lol

also....we made the screen bigger lol

Comments

MarxMaker

less goooo! the cleaner visuals are fire! very sleak 🔥🔥

danial javady

bigger screen helps with immersion A LOT. well done!

Jesus

Anyone else can't stand this show anymore I liked season 1 but season 2 isn't really it for me

Nazmus Safwat

I stopped watching this episode in the middle when the whole takemitchy hina think went down

Kevin Kovacs
>>101331021

feel you but it's gonna have some really dope moments in the next eps. give it little bit more and if it doesn't help then drop it because you not gonna like it later on that much.

6CatsInAnAlley

If he told her that he’s breaking up with her to protect her she wouldn’t have let it happen so that’s why he lied. But I still agree that it’s stupid to break up with her because she still died in the other timeline when he broke up with her

Mahmii

Imma watch the reaction first, but I don't think the breakup REALISTICALLY affects her fate in the grand scheme of things. So just like Roshi said, Takemichi believes the breakup is inconsequential, I agree. But here's the thing, despite all the future events we're going to stop, does Takemichi stay as a gang member when this is all done? Him being involved with gang shit is the main reason why he chose to go through with it. Even his past self that ACTUALLY broke up with her did it (assuming it's for the same reason) and doesn't even know of future events.

faded

appreciate the bigger screen

Devin B

With how many times Takemichi gets his ass beat he's definitely not gonna remember one from that long ago

A.D.Z

Fuck takemitchy everyday lol anyway about your new look the screen is pretty good 👍🏼 i just got a tiny complaint idk if u are gonna change it back but its about the show title i liked when it had the specific show title style yet u used a new style like for TLOF ep 4 but overall its cool to test new stuff

Zeklo

Being together with Hina was never the objective. It's keeping her alive. We KNOW she lives to a certain point (with the break up). Risk an unknown change and she could die sooner.

Sun

BOCCHI THE ROCK??

Smash Bran'Discootch

Takemitchy's got big fuckboy energy. "Nah, she still loves me in the future so like i can break her heart so i can have more time to concentrate on not getting her killed cause she'll just take me back any time." Like i get his line of thinking, i just waaaaaaaaaay disagree with it. It didn't have to go down like that.

Earphone Jack

I’m more annoyed with Hina’s dad than Takemitchy because why would he do that? I understand he wants to protect his daughter, but he shouldn’t approached his daughter instead of a guy he really doesn’t know! He should’ve never approached Takemitchy to begin with! I’m so mad. 😡 And Takemitchy…you could’ve at least told a different lie. 😑

Merfhew

This episode was almost poetic. She meets Takemichi when he's on the ground, and she eventually leaves him there herself on the way out. lol

Merfhew
>>101333009

I mean, it doesn't sound like he knows his daughter either, but I get your point. The way that Pops buttered Takemichi up before making that request was pretty disgusting, too.

Merfhew

Being dumped was certainly bad enough (and on Christmas Eve no less), but being lied to... especially after she had been so honest with Takemichi about her feelings... I think that's what angered her the most. She's not an idiot. I think it's pretty obvious (to her) from that half-assed breakup that he wasn't being honest to her about the reason. She would have been sad either way, but being dumped by someone you trusted... who you saw the good in... who you stood by during the good times and bad... when a person who meant so much can't be bothered to give you the WHY, that really stings.

Sauxy Chicano

I can't say that I enjoy this style on every reaction it makes every upload look dull and uniformed. The unique styles of every series made them feel more immersive and gave every series its own bit of personality. Maybe this is easier for roshi tho.

Jappa

THEY MADE THE SCREEN BIGGER HALLELUJAH

Desert Penguin

Whoa, my suggestion actually happened?! I love you guys! Sorry, top of Lupa's head LMFAO

Earphone Jack
>>101333009

He most likely doesn’t because they don’t have a relationship due to him working. Which makes what he did worse.

Erica Collins

Now we know why Kisaki said, "My hero" when he was talking to Takemichi in the future bc he was dressed up as one when they met so maybe Takemichi ends up saving him???

Merfhew
>>101333009

Exactly. I understand the Dad's logic, but the logic was flawed.

Erica Collins
>>101333274

I was just about to say this. I completely agree. It gives the video more style imo. The grey title is bland & dull to me too but besides that I'm loving everything else!

Khalil Reid

So you just gonna "SELL" Lupa roshi? on black history month brother???

DevilMayCarter

The ReZero energy is strong with this one. But I don't know if Takemichi can turn his character around as well as Subaru did.

Vongola Fiamme

where does this mf Kisaki go to get that nice ass tan and why does no one point it out in the show lmao

Devin B
>>101333407

Probably inspired him to be a person of action instead of keeping to himself

Saint Nexus

It's moments like this that I wasn't a manga reader so I can get the full frustration of Takemitchy's actions. As it stands, all I could do is laugh at his stupidity and be glad he gets better even if he is insanely stupid. Hina should've gave my man kisaki a chance

Matthew Osteen

This seems to confirm some things with Kisaki. Like when he said " Goodbye my hero". The first time he met takamichi he was dressed as a superhero. I got the connection when I was watching this episode. Crazy to think about.

Devin B

I get that what Takemichi did to Hina was messed up but I don't agree that it was stupid. Takemichi only needs to change the major events in the past he doesn't need to change his every move. Whether Takemichi breaks up with Hina or not that has no affect on her future outcome of dying because of Kisaki. Even if he didn't break up with her she probably would've got caught up in some gang shit down the road before her inevitable end so I can see why he wanted to break up with her cause he cares more about her safety than his feelings for her.

$am

I'm gonna be a wet rag for a min. But it's lowkey too funny to me how everyone is attacking Takemitchy for his stupidity and hurting Hina's feelings but no one is pointing out that bro just got physically assaulted by his gf for simply breaking up with her 🤣🤣

Denickart

I think the difference is the first time Takemichi broke up with her he ended up as some average schmo. Now he's trying to become the head of a gang.

Asher Ealey
>>101334823

Nah it was honestly stupid. Yes major events cause major changes, but any change contributes. Its also dumb because he breaks up with her for her safety even though he knows that results in her not being safe down the line. Not to mention the fact that he now knows that there was some connection with her and kisaki. I get that his thought process is to succeed in his major goal that will fix everything. But it doesn't mean he had to do that or do it in that way

Vongola Fiamme

SN these mfs have Hitman Reborn levels of drip and I respect it.

Caleb Thomas

I remember Roshi making a joke about Kisaki being in love with Hina in the 1st season. If hes right imma be pissed lmao

Saint Nexus

Kisaki is doing the most, but I find him and Hina to be very similar. Like, this dude saved you one time and she fell in love like... that, and forgot the dude who she been walking and talking to for months until then lol. So Kisaki is pretty justified in not getting over it when Hina isn't over takemitchy after 12 years. Hina just isn't killing anyone cause she not really like that. I'm surprised Hina still likes this man, she a keeper. I would've told her dad to leave

Vayne

small thing but i think the new font for episode # is definitely a downgrade for the eyes. might just be me tho

Mad4Life

And ya'll really said Takemitchy was better than Subaru LMAO

Devin B
>>101334823

@Asher Ealey he knows that Hina is done for 12 years from then until he deals with Kisaki but he doesn't want anything to happen to her before that. She almost got hit by Taiju so he can't guarentee that she isn't going to be in harms way like that. I also disagree that any change contributes cause if the main change which is getting rid of Kisaki isn't dealt with then little changes like Takemichi breaking up with Hina doesn't matter.

Nicole Guerrero

The hanma’s have assembled and hina has hands 💀👏🏽

Basedra

Kisaki end of season 1 calls Takemitchy “my hero” and this episode “the hero” arrives so yeah this man got beef from 6th grade.

Franklin Saint

I’m so annoyed with the dad in my opinion he really made takamitchy an asshole to hina because he requested takamitchy to break up with hina because he’s a delinquent and that he shouldn’t be around her and takamitchy did a poor job with breaking up with hina I get what he was trying to do but the wayhe did was a crappy job

Vayne
>>101336911

Nah bro you ever actually met a girls dad before? they all hate you at the start, they always do. A dad will never WANT his daughter to have a boyfriend especially someone they see as a bad egg. Takemitchi is just a pussy and a dumbfuck

Asher Ealey
>>101336911

The thing is though, the dad didn't even hate him. He asked him hella respectfully genuinely thinking of his daughter's safety

Earphone Jack
>>101336911

I agree! I’m more annoyed with Hina’s dad than I am with Takemitchy! I get he’s concerned, but what he did was lowdown. I’d be so pissed if my dad ever stopped me from being with someone I was in love with because that would be hindering my happiness.

Lezu

I mean even if Kisaski leaves Toman… it doesn’t stop him from wanting to kill Hina. What’s different?

Asher Ealey
>>101334823

It does matter, considering that he also knows now that she knows kisaki. That is an important connection to know more about considering his motives. There is a possibility that changing this event would change stuff in the future and he decided to go about it this way. Also, everyone knows that she is someone close to takemichi there is still nothing stopping people from using her against him. The decision was dumb and the way he did it was dumb. Also like they said, you know how that affects hina as well, it just wasn't a good way of achieving his goal imo. That being said, hina punching him like that was going too far.

ogking31

Tokyo revenger such a bad written anime... holy shit

Mahmii

Am I the only one who doesn’t feel like Kisaki’s reason is a petty love thing. I’ve seen SO many takes on with this logic and I’m not convinced. We don’t know enough

Mahmii
>>101334914

Exactly what I said earlier. Despite the future he’s tryna fix, if he still wants to do hood rat shit, then he can’t stay with her under his logic

Mahmii
>>101334823

@Asher. Hina’s feelings from the break up aside, at the end of the day, if Takemichi stays a gangster after fixing everything they wouldn’t stay together cuz the point id to remove her from his gang life. Whether it affects the future is irrelevant cuz she could die from Kisaki regardless but aside from him, other gang related thing could put her in trouble, like Devin mentioned with the Black Dragon thing.

Lezu
>>101337992

Yea same. In the original timeline they Hina and Takemitchy weren’t even that close. Bro was minding his own business. Yet, Kisaki still kills Hina and Takemitchy.

Lezu

Idk continuing to date Hina might be a death speed run. Kisaki is unhinged. In the original timeline Hina and Takemitchy weren’t even that close and still get clapped. Well if they are meant to die they should stay in love I guess.

Devin B
>>101334823

@Asher Ealey that's the thing though I'm pretty sure Hina told everything about her connection with Kisaki from her side of things cause they didn't see each other after he went to a private middle school. If Takemichi wants to find out more about that connection he would have to hear things from Kisaki's perspective. Also I do agree it wasn't a good way to handle things like that I just understand why he he did it and Hina definitely bugged out.

Chelsea
>>101337992

It also doesn’t look like from the flashback that he likes her that much cuz he was willing to watch her get beat up & didn’t seem to care/worry. Was more like “oh well, I told you so.”

Devin B
>>101337992

@Lezu in the original timeline they still went out with each other for a little bit so maybe that was enough for Kisaki to want to kill Hina and Takemichi. Either I feel like it might not be as petty as we think.

Devin B
>>101337676

Basically him leaving Toman doesn't give him the influence to change it to how it is in the future. Idk how it changes him not wanting to kill Hina though.

C2TheHomie

Bruh, Lupa telling Takemichi to go get beat up some more had me crying🤣

Ads
>>101337992

Nah, I think people got it wrong with him if they think that. It's like the opposite. Go listen to his dialogue to Takemichi at the end of s1 or start of s2.

Ads
>>101332769

i think that "she'll just take me back any time" part is not at all what takemichi is thinkin lol

Ads
>>101331021

idk, i think everything you could criticize about season 2 can be said the same for season 1... takemichi being takemichi

Smash Bran'Discootch
>>101332769

Yeah, you got a point fam. I was being pretty reductive cause I was annoyed at the whole ass situation. It's probably that what her dad said really got to him and he legitimately thinks he'll be protecting her by walking out of her life. Because even if he stops this whole death loop fiasco, she very well may he pulled into some other gang shit.

returntolife

the only reason why i still watch this anime is bc of y'all because every episode takemitchy annoys me in 10 different ways, 30 different times omgggggg

KeYo

takemitchy taking a fucking L like always. like bro this dude kisaki has known takemitchy since they were kids. kisaki literally called him his hero in the future! this is all coming together now. also if hina and kisaki are good friends. wouldnt hina talk to him about takemitchy breaking up with her? bro i feel like kisaki looks up to them both and i think they failed him in some way(his own mind i think)

Kingmakaii

This nigga taki got to be one the dumbest niggas I ever met bro if this shit ain’t work in the last time wtf would you still do it and pretty sure she beat bro up cuz she know this nigga fucking lying about why he wants to break up 😭

Kingmakaii
>>101346515

They not friends she ain’t talk to or seen that nigga since he went to that private school when they was kids 😭

Thiivi

I get why most people are annoyed with Takemitchy, but I think there is at least some logic to the breakup. He knows Hina dies 12 years in the future if he breaks up with her. However, he can't guarantee that she wouldn't die sometime before then if she continued to be around him for all those years.

DatKid_Kaneki

roshi, sheera, lupa, it doesnt mattee if he broke up with her or not she was still going to die regardless, with them not being together he doesnt have to worry about her constantly being there when he gets involved in bad shit, he did it in a bad way but it makes it easier

DatKid_Kaneki

ima need yall to collect ur brains and actually think of each decision and consequences cause sometimes you guys just get mad just to get mad at mitchy. just say you hate him and keep it moving, alot of his decisions made alot of sense but shit never actually hit the fan because he didnt see it all the way thru. hes seeing it thru with this so trust the process

Wrëck

At this point this a “watch while I’m doing something else” show

JO.10473_
>>101347308

I get what you mean, but them being together or not isn't really all that important. Like you said, she has died in future regardless. She's gonna be involved in the gang shit one way or the other. It's a weak writing point imo. I haven't read the manga so idk if his plan is good or not, but as of right now, keep Takemichi out the fucking kitchen.

Dee
>>101333009

But it’s not a flawed logic though. Hina dad is a police officer. His daughter is in a relationship with the 1st division captain of Toman, (the same gang that has been gaining hella notoriety over Tokyo, and has MOST LIKELY been talked about by police officers in Tokyo). It makes sense from the dad POV, whether or not the dad knows their true relationship. It make sense, even today’s world.

Trist9n
>>101347308

he knows him not being with her she died in future so might as well stay with her so she's not sad even if she dies he doesn't know that at least try a different timeline

snowwy
>>101337852

hell no shit gets better u will see in these upcoming episodes

Earphone Jack
>>101333009

I understand that, but it’s still flawed logic and unacceptable because how dare he make that decision for her. He barely even has a relationship with her yet he wants to act like he knows what’s best for her. No…absolutely not. The correct thing to do was to his daughter with his concerns instead of to a guy he barely even knows. At least then he could’ve gotten a better understanding of his daughters mindset and what their true relationship was like. That even could’ve been a first step to gaining some type of relationship with his daughter.

Ryujin

That whole break up was not needed since even in the original timeline they weren’t even together and she still got killed takamichi took a huge L

Arc

you can't make an MC that hateable - everyone's watching only for the supporting cast...

britt
>>101347136

she dies whether she's with him or not so why not just stay together

Devin B
>>101332446

Exactly, Kisaki came after Hina when her and Takemichi haven't been talking for over a decade, imagine what would happen if they were still together. He probably would've came after them sooner.

Phroug

Ok this is the first pure dumbass moment i've seen from Takemitchy. He's made terrible decisions before, but they could all SOMEWHAT be excused, but this literally makes no fucking sense. I'm ngl this season is FLOPPING flopping so far.

Fizzy
>>101335919

Ong the disrespect on my boi takemitchy is a NPC in his own story 😭😭😭

Dune

The problem I have with takemitchy is that he makes all these grandiose proclamations but no real plan to get there. Like you're weak as shit so you have no chance at just deciding to go stop black dragon unless you convince Mikey to back you up. There's no point in breaking up with hina talking "it's for the best" considering SHE STILL FUCKING DIES like bro what?

Darren Banks
>>101347308

No. We, the viewer have absolutely no idea what would happen if takemichi wasn’t a lame. But we KNOW that nothing good comes out of this break up so it’s already framed as if this moment does matter. He’s yet to stand his ground when it comes to the entire reason the story even exists. Honestly, the way this grown ass man fumbles the bag and gets his ass beat to tears all the time is just poor writing. The hina plot point is literally the main plot point. And this guy is ass at showing any sign he values having a second chance. He runs around running his mouth writing checks he can’t cash and begs for others to believe him. Meh. Officially a background show.

Sophia

Remember the only time Takemichi saw Hina alive in the future was when he broke up with her? Plus Taiju was going to knock her out a few days ago and Hina is very willing to put herself in danger to help Takemichi. And who knows how much worse the future could be if he didn't? Remember the girl from last season who got raped and beaten for having her bf related to a Toman captain?? He can always get back with her if he wants but at least for the Christmas battle its best if she's not involved at all. It makes me mad that people dog Takemichi for not being a perfect person who always thinks out his every action, but they fail to recognize that despite being a weak ass cry baby he STILL throws himself into dangerous situations and has the determination to keep going when most people would quit. I mean, how are you going to make the perfect decision when you only have fractured info from 12 years in the future, the vaguest idea of what might make things better or worse and no particular talents? Determination and trial and error, that's how. If you disagree I'd like to see ya'll give me the correct course of action you totally would've taken and as a manga reader I can tell you whether that would work or not.

Kidhavac

Ngl I’m only watching this because of y’all I’m sick with this nigga takemitchy😂😂

Corey Hambrick

I just realized it's this episode where the secret it

Devin B
>>101333009

@Earphone Jack there is no way a father is going to be ok with their daughter being in a relationship with a hoodlum no matter how good they are. Even if he went to Hina about this issue he probably knew that she wouldn't change her mind so he thought if Takemichi really cares about Hina then he would disassociate himself from her for her safety.

Earphone Jack
>>101333009

@Devin B I understand that, but it doesn’t make what he did any less low down. If Hina finds out and losses trust in her father, I wouldn’t blame her because he is the reason she’s going through so much pain right now (and for the next 12 years as she never got over Takemitchy). Yes, Takemitchy is an idiot and should’ve handled that whole situation better, but this also never would’ve happened had the dad never approached him in the first place.

Earphone Jack
>>101333196

Yeah, Takemitchy really shouldn’t handled that situation better. 😭 I need him to make this right!

Alice

I mean his gf’s dad personally asked, even bowed, him to break up w his daughter+considering Asian culture where family is important too it’s not like they can just hide the relationship or anything. But nonetheless still pretty frustrating lol

Jose
>>101354073

At least wait for the whole season before you form an opinion

BornUnMotivated

Bruh I had the same reaction as yall I was so annoyed with him too

These Plums

For anyone whose opinion doesn't change after this arc then you should probably drop it. Not on some gate keeping shit, but on some don't waste your time. Peace!

These Plums

Dang y'all see who was in the background of the flashback? EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED

Tay

Honestly the decision makes a lot of sense. The only future she was still alive in when he went back was the one where he broke up with her, but because of him not handling the main things he needed to like hakkai and taiju she still got killed. When he spoke to her in the future about the break up even he didnt remember the reason, but after reexperiencing the talk with her father he knew why he did it and decided that for now at least the dad was right and doubled down even though it hurt him. until he handles the actual main issues she's safest away from him, and if im the dad i wouldnt even ask that nice.

Erica Collins
>>101336672

But remember Kisaki also shed a tear in that moment when he said that which is weird if it turns out they do have beef cause then why cry?

Paulson

Man, Takemitchy been getting his ass beat his whole life you think he gon' remember all of them, plus he be taking them like a champ too.

Paulson
>>101397159

AND now he going back in time to revisit and make new ass beatings LMFAO so he gonna forget a few fights.

TheMonarch

This is why he is called Takebitchy

Dalton Murray

I feel like a lot of people forget Takemichi's true goal in all of this. It's been shown time and time again that he isn't returning to the past to fix all of this and have a relationship with Hina in the future. His whole goal is just to make sure she's alive in the future. Even though I also disagree with him breaking up with her, I see his reasoning. Hina's dad asked if he was sure she wouldn't get caught up in his gang shit. She's been put In danger many times by being near him in the past. And with him constantly changing the events in the past, there's no guarantee that she can't just end up dying in the past because he's doing dangerous shit that to our understanding didn't happen before. If she dies in the past, then that's it. There's absolutely no saving her. Just a few episodes ago she almost got bodied by Taiju. I don't like that they broke up, but I get it and respect it.

Amphyprion

It makes sense to keep everything with Hina the same. You are not supposed to make a lot of big changes with an unknown impact on the Future. Keeping the Past the same means Hina will be alive when he goes back and is still in love with him. All he needs to do is change the root cause of whatever the current problem in the Future is, not his relationship problems. TLDR.: Changing several stuff in the Past at once is definitely the wrong move. Takemichi is right on this one.

Syraxes

Holy shit. Lupa-san and I agree for once. Fuck, those little bastards deserve a beating

A. P.

Idk what kind of logic jutsu is being used to defend takemichi in the comments on this one but nahh fuck that whole 26 year old man, I've never seen someone so bitch made in all my life lol I can't wait for him to get his ass beat again in the next episode, I'm cheering

Jose

Everyone in the comments has a hate boner for takemitchy lol ridiculous

naa

is no one gonna talk about how fucked up it is that hina was beating on takemichi just because he broke up with her? now if the roles were reversed...

A. P.
>>101530848

It's a work of fiction, chill out Dr Phil. The man is 26 around a bunch of middle schoolers, has died/almost died multiple times, and has now been in a gang for long enough and is STILL using kid logic and is the only one trembling out of his Toman yeezy boots every time something goes down. And he arguably has the most to fight for. That's indefensible. I love the show, but his character is a bitch, it is what it is

A. P.
>>101530848

Nahh fr, definitely weird that everyone is defending Takemichi still be a gang member that's scared to do gang shit, still can't fight, and still thinks like a child

naa
>>101723976

@jose that doesn't make it any less uncomfortable to watch. do you expect people not to feel some type of way about taiju for abusing his siblings too because it's just an anime? smh

Near

This dude's a whole moron man.

HIM

Idc what anyone has to say, Hina is top 5 most precious things on all of anime. She must be protected at all costs. ALL COSTS. But to Takemichi's decision.... All I heard was "I'm... I'ma.. Bitch, bro. I don't know what to do!" And yeah, he pretty much thought "Damn, he's right... I'm a Bitch. How could I ever protect her?" Which is consistent with his s1 thinking. I grilled him, too, BUT I do think he was just pushing her away to keep her safe, Ala Peter Parker and Mary Jane, despite the future affect it had. Didn't work out too well for Peter either though lol 🤷‍♂️

naomi obi
>>101354073

he's way more involved than in the other timelines, what makes u think hina won't die earlier if he keeps her close?

mykanike

I thought Takemichi was gonna think "Huh. I broke up with her in the previous time stream. Maybe I should stay with her this time? 🤔" NOPE. Bro just dumps her. It's funny cause earlier in this epi I was thinking about if there was anyone Takemichi could beat in a fight, and I thought maybe only Hina (excluding dude from s1 he actually beat). Lmao I stand corrected

wayoflife
>>102702729

I don’t think he would ever hit hina, he wasn’t even fighting back because he knows what he did wrong so he feels like that was his punishment for breaking her heart

wayoflife
>>101350744

Now that he knows what happened in the past he can quite literally stay away from her completely, and since he’s changed the timeline literally it will be different. Since he doesn’t go back to the same time as before.

muxakara!
>>101374615

yea in optics you wouldn't. but if you knew his situation im pretty sure you wouldnt be saying a thing to bro.

Taylor Wimpfhiemer

All y'all dudes in the comments are stupid if you think about yes hina dies 12 years later because of kisaki but if u think about it the only reason hina was probably even still alive till that point was because in the past takemichi broke up with her what if he stays with her and instead 12 years later because she still wrapped up in all this shit and he never broke up with her she dies alot sooner LIKE IN THE PAST then that would be impossible too fix so the fact he broke up with her is probably the reason she even stayed alive for another decade too begin with

quxntum
>>111182505

that’s a huge “if” tho. i mean take into consideration mikey’s sister. he’s literally a gang leader and she hasn’t been touched at all up until this point. just because they are together doesn’t mean she’s in danger she’s only in danger if they know and if he does nothing about it. i understand what ur saying and it’s logic but the possibility is very slim.

Bunny

As someone the read the manga, that hint they put in this episode is damn good.

Pax the Casual

Yeah I realize I'm getting to this late but I'm still wanting to post just how dumb this guy is. Yall already stated the same reasoning I'm thinking; You know the future, you know what's going to happen and how as far as she is concerned, and you keep it the same??? "Oh I don't know if I can keep her safe from all this-" YOU KNOW she isn't safe anyway. At this point she is safer with you than without. What the hell dude.
