Idc what anyone says, if Floch deserves respect for being a dictatorial “devil” figure then Hange also deserves respect. She refused to bend to the Yeagarists’s tyranny and fought them at every turn, and she refused to sacrifice her morals and stand by while 99% of humanity was destroyed in front of her, even though that same humanity wished for their demise. Some people have called her a hypocrite for saying “genocide is wrong” while the world she’s defending wants to kill off her entire race out of fear, but at no point did she ever actually contradict herself. There was never a moment when she wanted anybody on either side to die. She tried her hardest to prevent all of it, and when she failed thanks to forces that were frankly too outside of her control, she made a difficult choice on who to prioritize. It would’ve been so much easier to just sit back and watch the world be destroyed for their sake. Instead she chose the hard path, as did Levi, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, and Connie. She didn’t get a single break ever since Erwin’s (and Moblit’s) death, and she was only able to truly be content (in awe of the Titans) when she was literally being burned alive, but she never stopped fighting for her values. That is genuinely commendable, and “Erwin” told her as much when she died. I think if people have any appreciation for Isayama’s writing (which if they don’t by this point, why are you here lol), then this take should be something they can at least understand. …or maybe this comment is so long that nobody here will even bother to read it. I just wanted to get my thoughts on this out, because I really have enjoyed this story and the writing and I’m looking forward to the rest of it being animated.

Yes, Zeke’s real and fake plans both still involved activating a small-scale Rumbling (using just the Shiganshina district Wall Titans) to destroy military targets and function as a show of power in order to establish the threat of The Rumbling in general to basically act as the equivalent of a nuclear deterrent for about a little more than a century (for the fake plan, until Paradis’ technology advanced to surpass titan power, while for Zeke’s real plan it would act as a deterrent until the last Eldian died, i.e. the last of Historia’s descendants). In terms of least amount of genocide/lives-lost (by Rumbling and/or mass sterilization), while it wouldn’t have solved the curse of Eldians being able to turn into Titans, Zeke’s fake-plan was arguably the best recourse in terms of minimizing casualties for both sides. Though because both plans would require the continuation of the practice of titan power inheritance every 13 years (and would specifically require any descendants of Historia to basically always be on standby for inheritance), Eren refused to accept even the fake plan as an option.

To answer your questions: 1. Technically, they were already having a genocide perpetrated against them, the leaders of the world just wanted to escalate it. 2. True, the rest of the world hates Marley, but they hate the Subjects of Ymir more. A bunch of times in the show they say that Marley sucks but it's much worse for a Subject of Ymir at one of the other internment camps abroad, like where Udo came from. It's not that no one is tired of Marley, but during the reign of the Eldian Empire, so many atrocities were committed by the Empire that the hatred is basically cultural. Remember, the Middle Easterners believed touching a SoY would taint you. 3. The Azumabitos were not a country, they were a wealthy family from Hizuru. And they were mainly out to a. get back Mikasa, b. exploit Paradise for its Ice Burst Stone. 4. A partial rumbling was always a lie. It never would have worked. For starters, the warning was "leave us alone or we Rumble." Marley NEVER heeded that warning, just dumping Titans on the island and later setting up espionage missions on it. On top of that, the whole world already hates that island and because of Marley militarizing Titans, all of their military weaponry is anti-Titan in nature. A partial rumbling justifies their fears and galvanizes them into wiping out the island. It makes the situation worse, and would absolutely lead to retaliatory hate crimes of SoY in the internment camps of other countries.

this is not true @terry. a lot of people who say King Floch say it because there's two different philosophies clashing and they fall on one side of it. There's Eren, Floch and the yeagerists who want to protect their people/loved ones at all costs by the option that is objectively the most likely to keep them safe, the rumbling. Then there's hange, mikasas and co who, while obviously wanting to protect their loved ones, dont want to wipe the world to do it and long for a better way. One is a guarentee, the other is left up to chance. And that's acknowledged by hange a few times throughout this episode. I think what gets confused is that Eren and company do not actually want to or enjoy what they are doing, but they feel they have to and that its the best route. It's way more nuanced then just riding for the MC, in my opinion anyway. Erwin also didnt really say it was commendable in the sense of her decision as far as it showed, more of the fact that she fufilled the role for the side she chose and what she set out to do is how i interpreted that. Floch is unironically the closest thing to Erwin we see in the series after his passing and from what Erwin displayed while he was alive, him also being a yeagerist is the most likely conclusion. I believe that to be the case because not only did Levi actually have to tell him to lay down his life and die (bc he so desperately wanted to go see the basement) but he also was realistic in his line of thinking and would know that the peace Hange is looking for would either never come to fruition or would not last. Also Floch was so desperate he clung onto that ship and again on his deathbed hange acknowledges that she understands the stance hes taken, it just opposes what her morals align with. Its quite nuanced and very well written imo up to this point. But i think in a series like this people get very passionate about whichever side they fall on and they are unable to understand the logic of the other.

Levi is an Ackermann made for war. He survived the blast solely because he was an Ackermann. He also tried to block some of it as much as he could so that stopped pieces from hitting him. But again, he isn’t systematically killing people who oppose him like Lelouch. He’s wiping the world clean. Lelouch’s end goal was to become a hated dictator and bare all the hatred. Not kill anyone who hated the Japanese, which essentially is what Eren is doing. Maybe Eren does truly believe his friends can stop him, but that’s only one outcome, that’s not the goal. Eren isn’t just “killing a lot of people”, he will continue destroying everything until nothing except Paradis is left, or his friends stop him. I see it as Eren is giving them the opportunity to stop him, possibly out of guilt. Reiner said no one can handle the guilt of mass genocide. Leaving them free reign is his way of leaving it up to fate basically saying “This is what I’m doing. If you believe it’s wrong, come stop me”.

If you had excavating tools inside you could dig out but you also had to have food to last you long enough to dig out. it is a plossible thing along with flying the airship and ships at sea you could avoid the rumbling by goin away from them so the people that did that are alive

Lemme fill that bit in spoiler free. I think the Attack Titan is the personification of Ymir's anger, cast aside or separated from her when she submitted to Fritz. Probably as a result of the trauma she went theough before her transformation. Once Eren reconnected with her in the paths, she could feel it again.
