Comments

Solivigant Kaiba

Trust, the manga is so good. Rock my fave.🤷🤣

Boom

Last episode😭

Imari

Okay well now that it’s over Bojack Horseman next pls y’all would love it if you haven’t watched already 🙏🏽

BerserkerAce

After this show you guys should watch JORMUNGAND. Similar vibe to black lagoon. Best part both dub and sub are good

Jamie See

Yeah, aleast the author came back from hiatus a recently. I have hope that maybe one day we will get another season because a new season is still being talked about to this day, but we will have to wait and see. I'm going to miss black lagoon reactions. But all good things must come to an end.

Big Daddy Dre

Y’all gotta watch JORMUNGAND next it has the say vide as black lagoon

Danger Tomato

Honestly thought this anime was underwhelming

TimeClock

Darker than black

Kingmakaii

Not even gonna lie I chuckled when the cop pulled up flashed his light on revy then just pulled off cuz like bro you not even gonna pretend to care lmao but then they showed that other cop and I’m like yeahhhhhh now I can of understand why revy the way she is cuz wtf bro

na -

Space dandy next please!!

V

Not sure if the girl the soldier saved is Roberta because I think that was in Vietnam and I think Roberta is from Colombia? Assuming she grew up there because he was took in by Garcia’s Father because she is her best friend’s daughter or something

Hans Wurst

And that's the story of how Rock saved everyone important, got some extra's killed, got on everyone's nerves, lost his last shred of innocence and made a killing by doing so.

danial javady

Roberta was not saved by the soldier. That was just an introduction to the soldier and his character.

JsemicolonA

From what I heard Roberta was nerfed in the anime version in manga she barely took any damage and lost no body parts

Jacob The weird

The girl the soldier saved was from Vietnam. Roberta is Colombian.

Stephen D

"You ladies ready? Cuz, here comes my cock." Yeah this anime 100% could not be made today. Kind of like Desert Punk.

Asad Khabir

Nah bro after that final Chris Hansen is coming for Roberta

Asad Khabir

Also everything Rock did was ultimately pointless. The CIA got custody of Shi Yan so the US never sent anyone to shut down the drug trade in Golden Triangle.

Asad Khabir

Also Roshi are you saying disabled people are damaged goods. Doing the any% cancelled run again 👏👏👏

ArtemisDrake

I think you guys might enjoy jormungand or Gangsta also similar vibes to black lagoon

Timothy Alexander

Would you guys consider reacting to Into the Badlands?

Mervyn Larrier

I honestly think Garcia would be out of his mind to not eventually have Fabiola as the Lady of the House. Like, do I need to actually explain the security of the position that put him in? But definitely fill the BL anime void with some Jormungand. HIGHLY recommend

Imari
>>104645465

Lmao listen the show is fire only a little depressing 💀

GraffitiTurtle
>>104645465

it’s a great show, who cares if it kills the vibes 😂 would be interesting to see their takes on the characters. They should definitely watch it as the last show of the day if that’s how they do things tho, so it doesn’t effect their other reactions because it will be on their minds for sure

GraffitiTurtle

honestly the only other anime I’ve seen that y’all haven’t reacted to is Your Lie in April so I’d recommend that, but it’s not exactly the best follow-up to something like this and looking at all the comments you’re probably gonna go with whatever Jormungand is

Bradley Canning

I was eating when that 'u ladies ready cause here comes my cock' i almost died choking wtf xD

GraffitiTurtle

also this is kinda funny to me, but the Black Lagoon wiki page for Revy’s character actually does a surprisingly good job at her character analysis. It’s actually interesting, which usually isn’t the case for wikis

Alejandro Rodriguez

Lemme hear somebody say Rock ain't cold ruthless and calculating now 😤

TheGamingWarthog

The manga makes Rock even more of a badass, maybe someday we’ll get an anime adaptation because the new ones were released like a couple years ago which would be dope but who knows🤷🏻‍♂️

Bader

i recommend Jormungand

Theo Vorster
>>104651199

I think that less them wanting to nerf her, and more them thinking that Roberta coming away with minimal damage pushes the suspension of disbelief and/or having more grievous injuries exemplifies the consequences of her going off the deep end more.

David Britton

ITS MY BIRTHDAY (just thought y’all should know if y’all care)

Mar

World Trigger is a really good anime I think the crew would like!

beelzebub

The flashback was in vietnam, Roberta is from south america. Roberta was not the girl in the flashback lmfao

Saint Nexus

Lol. Roshi ruining the mood saying,"she not gonna fuck you bro," had me dying

AnimeDex

Y’all should watch Gungrave next

fatiqsue

It was fun rewatching this show with you guys. Thank you very much! :D

Alex Snell

One think I do kinda miss from the manga in the OVA is a minor scene of Shane talking to Dutch and he uses some really arcane military slang and it goes over Dutch's head and he kinda blows it off. Before he leaves Shane tells Rock that his boss is a fake vet and there's no way he actually served in Vietnam. Really critical plot point going forward in the manga.

Theo Vorster
>>104678212

You’ve slightly misremembered, Shane tells Benny that Dutch is lying about being a Vietnam vet not Rock.

Jaelyn Mcgee

Honestly, one of my favorite changes from the manga is Shane giving his men permission to fight back. Because in the manga, They're literally begging him to let him save their comrades and themselves, as they have a few opportunities to take Roberta down without killing her and he just sits there and listens to them get slaughtered. As brutal as the damage she took is, it shows how dangerous and skilled the grey fox unit is despite them being relatively normal by black lagoon standards

Julian Franco

Dutch back story really good it’s covered in the manga and worth a read

Karabo

Ey man, where's blue lock

Chocobo

Kobayashi Dragon Maid PLEASE its an action comedy. DARWINS GAME - its darwins game Nichijou - Purely comedy, with humourous action, yall might not get all jokes tho

Chocobo

Blue Lock waiting room

AnimeDex

You guys should watch Jormungand next it’s really good. Also the English dub is good too.

Eric Hanov

Jormungand would be fire

Rachiim McDaniel

The girl Shane saved was a random Vietnamese girl. Had to do a quick search myself.

Saion

If u read the manga u will see REVY original hairstyle

Teddy McDonald

I don't get why patreon can't just make their player have the option to select quality, Gotta pray that I can watch even half the episode above 240p

Ougi
>>104700423

Nah its so bad past season 1 lmao. Every arc is just 'save the life of a girl who also falls in love with bell' it fukin sucks

Nabi
>>104704787

ikr? i wish they could use Streamable's player like they used to, that worked so well for me

Tyler Whalen

Everybody in the comments dropping recommendations again, figured I'd put in my two cents again for Akiba Maid War and Ya Boy Kongming. Both shows seem right up y'alls alley.

lyssa

Sad to see it end

Tbush
>>104686147

The other change I don't like is his second in command in the manga mirrors his introduction scene where they end up in a duel because the mustache dude wants to avenge his comrades and Shane has to kill another comrade for a member of the enemy tribe, just like back in Nam. That was the purpose of the Vietnam scene, that and showing Dutch is a stolen valor fake vet

Tbush
>>104690401

Yeah, specifically the chapters that came out in the past year. However the start of his backstory reveal was cut from this episode when Shane tells Benny that Dutch doesn't know enough slang to actually be a Vietnam veteran.

Tbush
>>104695390

"It's not like I like you or anything, BAKA! *pulls out p90 and lights him up*

Tbush
>>104700423

I haven't kept up with it, but judging from random recommended clips on youtube, he finally picked up a girl in the dungeon... literally. He is both literally and figuratively carrying

Tbush
>>104704502

It's jarring that her face changes from the first few chapters, like Rei drew her as super Chinese like Shenhua, but switched to normal anime face.

Mari

ya'll have to watch JORMUNGAND, it has a similar vibe has this

Mari
>>104697349

It would, very similar vibes to this 🔥🔥🔥

Jaelyn Mcgee
>>104686147

yeah I'm disappointed by that myself. I wish we could have gotten some more of the smaller character moments in the arc

Nasty
>>104723659

Yes for sure. It's even better i would say i for sure enjoyed that one more then black lagoon.

SlackyTv

Hope you guys react to the Slime Movie

TAC Genesis

reincarnated as a slime movie available on 9anime btw

Miguel Angel Ramirez-Alvarez

What’s crazy is the fact in the light novels and manga, Roberta took 0 damage, she murked and cleared the soldiers and never got hit; they had to nerf her in the anime. But can we talk about how Rock was a whole ass supervillain with his scheming

NecDW4

Alrighty, time to start up Danmachi

Christian meeks

Trigun stampede and eminence in shadow 2 yall gotta watch

Aza Bazza Cazzer

I reckon you guys should try YLIA if you haven’t yet

Argo TheSlicer

watch Jormangand you need a gritty realistic like anime for the fans

NJ

Previous episodes like: Damn can't any one of you hit Roberta once? This episode: Welp... They hitting alright. I guess she's just a literal terminator. I honestly can't confirm whether the kid was Roberta or not. I'm kinda inclined to think that was someone else.

Daniel NT

Love this anime, one of my favs.Sad it's over. Cool to see more ppl see it. I hope it gets another season. I might read the manga and the eda prequel.

Redhead2056

What's crazy is that in the manga, Roberta took zero damage and kept all over her body parts.

Daniel NT

Great reaction. Shame one of my Favs at an end. Never really had anyone to share this with but it's a great anime and one of my favorite. Can't wait to see next

Handyman

If you like this anime check out jourgamund this a great anime series

Randomsomebody

The little girl wasn't her. Roberta is known as the Bloodhound of Florencia. Florencia is in Colombia which is south america. The saved girl was in Vietnam

Josh
>>105813999

Facts jourgamund is a fire series..one of my top favorites to watch every once in a while

Saleenseven

Watched this for the first time with yall - the dub was actually so entertaining. Really miss this style of anime. Lots of great moments though for sure. See yall on the next one!

MixerPlayz

I like the breaking bad reference on 22:37 lol

Darryl
>>126434372

Same, this is a style of anime that we dont see as much anymore. To many anime nowadays feel like copies of eachother.

Dalek
>>126434372

Same here man. I miss anime like this. It'll never be the same
