Enjoy us still arguing about Vinland Saga before we started lmao

Comments

varus ez

Niceeee!!! I hope we will see more kdrama in the future, love you guys 😊

f4jd

Roshi you really need to read Sweet Home I think you'd enjoy it greatly they changed soo much in the show

RamenIsGood

This was the show that everyone was calling ass even though it blew out everything in the poll. Can’t wait to see how everybody was wrong about this show.

Ranginald Vagel

Roshi just fucking say Sweet Home with pizzazz it’s not that hard

Devlin Draconis

I’m just starting this and it’s my favorite intro ever lmao

earthphoenix7068

It wasn't ass when I watched. I don't remember why I couldn't finish it tho, probably something with schoolwork.

Crowski

That intro lmaoooo

Anthony Argueta

it's because the manwha is just so much better

Maimiichan

Yes and it’s so good (the WEBTOON I haven’t watched the show)

Liam Wave

it is but i think they changed some stuff in the later half (just what i have heard)

Fifi

Them not recognizing Yeo-Jeong(Doctor from The Glory) as soon as he came on screen hurts 💀

Url Robbo

that intro was insane😭😭😭

Soso

we need more little bts videos or shit like the intro

Xymtyx

I got so tired of that Imagine Dragons song every episode

GraffitiTurtle

y’all really think a bed made in the damn 1000s with a flimsy ass mattress that can barely fit one honey dying person is the same weight as the modern bed y’all have right now 💀 plus she could’ve used something to help prop it up. Lifting a bed like that for a brief moment isn’t nearly as hard as carrying a dead-weight full grown man around. What Arnheid did is really not that unbelievable lmao

Trey Milliner-Williams

i've actually never watched this show but snowfall is so boring to me and I like the webtoon for it so i went with this. lets see how this goes

Coco

I was so confused, thought I forgot how the story went for a couple minutes.

f4jd

It's because they changed the story from the manwha and took characters out and added new ones it's so different from the original story. Combined 2 characters into 1, changed certain characters personalities and that imagine dragons song plays in every episode

f4jd

Yeah it's unfortunate they changed so much

JadenSays77

Nah I'm with Roshi, there's no fucking way Einar should've been able to outrun 3 horses lmfao. A horse can run from 40-50mph, Usain Bolt's record is 27mph. So you're telling me Einar, even with a head start, can maintain that distance between those horses for THAT long? Ain't no way lmfaooo

JJ

heard the webtoon is far better than the show adaptation

Knuckle's hair

The anime made it look like that, in the manga he was very close to the forest

Devlin Draconis

Yoooo that’s my boy Lee Jin-wook (hell yeah I looked it up) from “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” (also in Netflix) !!!!!!

Kiari

Right.. It’s literally him with but with long hair

Fifi

And glasses 😭

Young Ajummah

You're right! It is the same actor from The Glory! Good catch.

jesse almonte

Vinland saga is so powerful it goes into other reactions

East_Coast_Overseer

Just realized that Joo Yeo-jeong from The Glory and Lee Eun-hyuk from Sweet Home are the same actor.

Mari

The manwha is so much better then this because they changed so much of it

f4jd

Just so you guys don't get confused the fish had nothing to do with it

13

The surgeon guy from The Glory has such a recognizable face lol

Voirnane

"can you move" lupa is so hilarious bye

Kingmakaii

Bro tf did that nigga turn into that’s some horror movie ass shit 😭

Panda

This all depends on the type and cut of wood. That shit being 2in to 4in thick planks makes a huge diff. It's not like they had some throw away ikea balsa wood lmao.

Hammhoxx

That is Dong Eun's BF lol.

Alfredo

Them mfs have 0 situational awareness. The moment I see a 6'9 Gerber Baby behind the shutters, I'm hauling ass to my apartment.

Jah

no way this was picked over snow fall

Thilde

Hypeeeee! (Lee Eun Yoo best girl, idc if she's kind of a bitch I love her lmao)

GraffitiTurtle

I mean I can definitely maneuver my own bed around and it’s not throw away wood like that, and I’m saying that as a 5’1” woman who doesn’t have much muscle either lol. I doubt I could do much with it but it’s definitely possible to just lift a corner momentarily while I set something underneath it to keep it raised. Also you have to take into account the desperation, women have been able to lift cars off the ground to save babies that are trapped thanks to that sort of thing.

GiantSpidr

Fun Fact: The book the ballet girl was reading was another work of the original creator, if you enjoyed Sweet Home, I really recommend it. Its more psychological than monster horror tho

Cesar Augusto

I really like this serie, but It will be 100% better without imagine dragons

Xymtyx

Absolutely

Maimiichan

We need more bloopers and behind the scenes videos

Thilde

It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't play it 273271317 times per episode lmaaao its hilarious

f4jd

They changed it pretty early actually. Took character out and added different ones they literally combined 2 of the characters into 1 person and changed the personality of characters too which sucks

Blueechante💋

Literally doesn’t matter he will watch that show when the time comes!

gabriel250c .

The webtoon scared me too much to even try to watch the show

Aery

That intro was hilarious, loved the reaction guys can't wait for the next one. I read the webtoon and really liked it, so it's cool to watch the adaptation

Aniki Pft

Yall finna hear imagine dragons crazy during this bruh.

Losalma

I like sweet home, is my favorite webtoon but i don´t think that the show is nearly as good as the comic

Mari

It’s not, nowhere near the comic

Mari

Every fight 😭I got to a point in the show where I blocked it out while they were fighting monsters

Sun

It really isn’t. Manhwa is infinitely way better.

britt

ah another show where sheera thinks she wont freeze in these situations

Malaika

i'm so looking forward to yall's reaction to this, i read the webtoon and the spin off and both are amazing series, i really recomend reading both after you've finished this show.

alex amyot

that is literally the worst apocalypes

Voirnane

yup thats the same actor roshi

RevealingStorm

Yeah he had a head start. The anime just did a bad job at putting that across.

Danger Tomato

We watched it so we already know its ass definitely ass compared to the shows that weren't picked

Mari

I would’ve been up outta there as soon as I saw that Big head ass thing standing right there 😂 but everyone instincts are different though 🤷🏽‍♂️

Losalma

Don´t like the adaptation, they made some of the characters weird when in the comic they're cool, some of the moment's are over the top instead of scary and one of the things that was so good about this was making this normal apartment building in a scary place and asking if the situation is that bad here I can´t imagine how bad is outside and in the adaptation they show all the monsters in the first episode.

Toria

Yes roshi it is the same guy from the glory

kashisun

lol it is the same guy as in the glory

PetersThimble

It is some ass lmao ppl just picked it bc it’s a popular kdrama and a lot of ppl here like kdramas (I do too, just not this one)

silas

that shit outside makes the apartment almost like a luxury one

Jah

Understandable but I’d rather it be today than after whatever the fuck amount of episode of this shit

Liam Wave

man i love this show but the imagine dragons music just feels so out of place everytime its used

nami

It's obvious but im gonna mention it anyway that freeze is literally the third response when you reference a fight or flight response. It's fight, flight or freeze. Some niggas ran, the girl and dong euns bf fought, and the old man and women froze. You got to see all three of them

PolarToni

who asked. stfu if you've watched the show

PolarToni

its a vote for a reason. stop whining about what you want

JohnnySmoke

Imagine Dragons: The Show

J Man

You were right, the extinguisher guy was the bf from The Glory

DjSKitZ

Yoooooo so hyped for your reaction to this!! I will say though sadly the WEBTOON is much better then the show imo but I still love this show!

Yolo Samurai

Roshi: Ok, that was the first episode and I am utterly confused... Me: Yes

Mari

Would rather get this show out of the way first because it’s only 10 episodes, he also already said they were going to watch it after this, he fr could have just done another poll and put snowfall on there for it to just lose again but Roshi’s being generous for you fiends

EmoBurrito

LMAO. With that kind of tackle strength, she should really consider changing her firefighter profession to the NFL.

Josh

God the only thing that sucks about this show is the goddamn fuckin imagine dragons song that plays over every sad or heroic scene

vesra

Listen, I've been there before. Plotting your own downfall but then you get some food or yams in your face and you're like "aight one more day".

Julia

Fun fact: the lady who plays the firefighter was an amateur boxer champion in SK during 7th National Amateur Boxing Championships in 2011.

Trist9n

That is the dude from THE Glory

Sam

Episode 10: still confused.

shadowfiend

this show is a whole ride

Key0

lupa just screaming at the ladies face had me dying i couldnt breathe lmao. not gonna lie this looks like some video game monster shit like killing floor

Malik Allen

………. I ain’t watching this cheesy ass shit 🫤

Jeremiah

Roshi is correct, it wasn't the tv, dude held out a flip phone and was playing a recording to the man about being with a four year old, he was interrogating him or showing him proof. Also the building is trash so I think the spoiled fish was just from being poorly stored. It looks hot in that place probably another reason why its cheap and rundown I liked the transition of the choking to the ramen but I get why many don't and I think the show has a lot of them, not important but just a style. The smoking is more so to give how shitty the place is and everyone coping with their own shit

t_t
>>107169058

yea the show aint even close to how good the webtoon was! that was peak horror as a comic

Yolo Samurai

That moment when Roshi realizes he just can't do intros like Lupa-san! 😂😂😂

rickie woodson

roshi is right. that is 100% lee do hyun, the actor who played the doctor in the glory who got with dong-eun. and the scarred gangster is lee jin wook oooh he is such a good actor and has a lot of good series. there is "goodbye mister black" which is an adaptation of the count of monte cristo, right up your alley (complex revenge story) so it needs to go on the list. also spy myung wol, miss granny (film), air city, immortal souls and MORE

Jayden Holder

Fourth grader* not four year old

moistmermaids

Also just to provide some more information, since weed and drugs aren’t as accessible in Korea, most people rely on cigarettes and alcohol as a de stressor. That’s why you see a lot of Korean teens smoking from an early age since that’s what they can access.

Timothy Heck

I like Imagine Dragons but heck man get more than one song from them at least lmao

Timothy Heck

This show knows how to set a mood that's for sure! And they got a budget for monsters so that's rad, got some cool practical effects. Better characters than All of us are Dead too lol

Lo-Filiooo

Bro, tf is this place?

Fizzy 🐉

Then don’t watch it lol

JayJay

It gets good by the next episode and beyond

erinshima

Same 😕 I didn’t care for this, but I’m hoping we still see more kdramas in the future ..

Zombies Marble

The webtoon Sweet Home by Kim Carnby and Illustrated by Hwang Young-chan is One of the best webtoons I've ever read. This show is based on that same story but goes another direction, I do not know why Netflix chose to divert from that set story, but I've heard that they did this webtoon dirty from my sister. I myself have not seen it I've been wanting to see it, but I haven't found an excuse, now I have one I love your group reactions.

Mari

Thanks for letting us know, I appreciate it

Teyon Alexander

I saw sweet home and then right after, I watched hellbound. Made me swear off Korean shows because they were both really bad back to back and left a bad taste in my mouth.

WolfDaddyyy

12:00 damn Luca that shit was good as shit huh😂

Miki

Netflix ruined this amazing webtoon it's a comical watch ONLY if you've never read the source material. And the number of times they use the "warriors" by imagine dragons in the entire show is laughable and cringey lol

Arc

Naah a human limp body is not easier to carry than lifting a wooden bed. Sheera, there is NO mattress to be lifted - it's just hay and wood.

Venice Lee

the older brother- the guy who reminds you of saeroyi is actually the actor who played yeojeong aka the executioner on the glory hehe

JayJay

a wooden bead is wayy easier than carrying a limp body ngl

Tha Hoeless one

I see a lot of unhappy people in the comments lmao.

Gyomei Himejima

Honestly, they should’ve left it as a webtoon 😂

Jahhsaintt

So fun fact the book she was reading while laying on the bed was made by the same person who made sweet home it’s called bastard it’s dope

Mari

If they was going to change so much of it then yeah, they should have just left it alone. This was a pretty bad adaptation but as a individual show it's good. If your someone who haven't read the comic, you wouldn't know the difference.

Irie

Did anyone ask? Lmfao

Gyomei Himejima

Obviously the plot drive was great considering the webtoon but to each their own ig I didn’t like the cgi though, the monsters were hardly intimidating It was underwhelming tbh

Cleven Anthony

Lmao omg it’s thrash I literally couldn’t stay focused on it 😭😭😭 it’s just all over the place; sweet thrash 😭

Bazil

I lost it when the League of legend ass music started playing. At first I thought Roshi had edited it in

Anonymous
>>107201043

I’ve read some of the chapters of the WEBTOON. Honestly adaptations don’t bother me as much as they once did before. I already know what I’m getting myself into with adaptations and try not let it affect my overall enjoyment of the tv show/movie

Val

Holy shit i completely wiped this show from my memory. Had no clue what this was going to be until it started. Also, I hope ya'll like Imagine Dragons, specifically this one song that's used for everything in this show

Mavereth

How are they not recognizing buddy from the glory

Tha Hoeless one

Bro.....Nobody even knows what the fuck they just watched lmao.

Wagner m

They should react to THE MAN FROM NOWHERE. MOVIE

FlorYA19 Arauz

To be fair he looks kinda different here

Mavereth

He’s just wearing glasses 😂

Drake Rage

Noblesse Oblige means "it's the duty of the strong to take care/help the weak." Think we heard that in some other show/anime kinda recently I forgot which one.

MaybeNextTime

The CGI is kinda crazy. Is this some early 2000s horror movie? LOL and the fucking Imagine Dragons. HAHAHA

Jawdane

lol snowfall died for this...

Sasha (Yare Yare Daze)

But he looks way different actually. Most people look completely different with and without glasses. Like Lupasan.

Mavereth

You make a fine point with Lupa haha

Wagner m

Is a good movie i know they would like.

Big Daddy Dre

Man wtf is this? The CGI is trash😂🤦🏾‍♂️

Big Daddy Dre

Looks like some shit from coraline or paraNorman😂😂

sotonye ogan

boy that cgi gave me aids but im in for the ride, that nigga choking on noodles got me crying.

Danger Tomato

Mainstream media is awful so you'll never get to see the good stuff

Madhouse

I mean this shi is dumb asf so🤣🤣💀

Madhouse

Whole ride of trash

Tha Hoeless one

Yea I was legit confused as hell the whole hour 😂😂

Madhouse

Dawg u trippin, this shi is beyond ass

Madhouse

I dislike this show

Madhouse

The show is garbage

Madhouse

No you are incorrect☝️🤓 the whole show sucks

Madhouse

Nobody got time for this bummy ass show

Madhouse

U cuck, how dare a impudent lil bro say it will lose again

Timothy Heck

oh the CGI looks bad but I like that there's practical effects in there too at least lol

Karoshn

Bastard is such a good webcomic, definitely worth the read to anyone who hasn’t already

Mervyn Larrier

half the reason I dropped it. killed anything that song ever did for me lmao

Mari

Nigga’s really hurt over Snowfall which they said they would watch already 😭

Mari

it probably would, why you think Roshi isn’t doing another poll with it on there, because it would most likely lose again, that’s why there just going to watch it after this

Rheaird

Mashle, I think

Karoshn

why did they pick Warriors as a song for these moments 😂 so outta place

Anonymous
>>107217551

Coraline and paranorman are amazing movies. Btw each episode of sweet home cost 2.7 million . They used motion capture for the monsters. The people who worked on the visual effects worked on game of thrones, stranger things, avengers and avatar. The show was also nominated and for visual effects among other nominations in different categories

Anonymous
>>107227658

Yeah. I don’t understand what’s the problem. Sweet home is only 10 episodes and after that snowfall. It’s that simple

Candy

that is the boyfriend from i really thought they recognise him as soon as they saw him

Tre Staples

Damn. I'm willing to admit when I was wrong lol I was on here pressed they were watching another K Drama over Snowfall, when all this time...it was a banger👏🏽👏🏽can't wait for more!!

HalfroSamurai

This garbage soundtrack is taking me out of every scene.

Jazmyne Mattucci

these silent hill ass monster i weirdly love it

Rocksolo

Bru at the beginning if they don’t get that attack on titans music out of here 😂😂

Silva Jin

Yeah i was buggin before lol i had no idea this was a horror, i was thing we was about to watch a slice of life kdrama but this was 🔥

Dae Hogan

Dong-eun's Boyfriend ( Lee Dohyun) is the guy you were talking about. He's the exact same guy. I was wondering when y'all would catch it 😄

Mari

@Kiana Mcnab they’ve been making season 2 and season 3 for 3 years now. I better not hear that imagine dragon song once 🤣🤣

local

wish Lupa was on The Glory

blabber90

It is a good movie, one of the best definitely worth watching it 👏🏻

Heyves

bruh goofy ass cgi, weird acting and soundtrack, thought it was a comedy but it's a horror one 😂, looks like a fun ride tho

blabber90

🤔 Was it strong? I thought it was the wealthy

blabber90

It’s not super popular just well known…whoever was in charge of the music probably thought it was a good song for it 😓

Drake Rage

Wealth is a form of strength, but the saying is not limited to being wealthy.

blabber90

@Drake that’s true

najma mohamed

Can y'all watch duty after school after

chainsaw_grl

Damn the manhwa was so fucking good, the show doesnt live up to it

chainsaw_grl

I could see Bastard being a great Kdrama, maybe with a different team though lmao

chainsaw_grl

please give the manhwa a chance, its so good. I refuse to watch the show out of spite, and I was so hyped for it too 😭

chainsaw_grl

Theres a new series called Shotgun Boy by the creator lets goooo (a little to topical as an American though 💀)

shonen_slumpp

It's so sad how badly this show did the webtoon. The pacing and way they organized this is just atrocious. Like who thought that opening was the right move... Sweet home and Bastard (the book the kids sister was reading) are sooooooo good. For anyone interested please just read it.

David

As a Manhwa reader "PROTEIN" evoked an unreal amount of nostalgia!!

Anonymous

This show is a lot of fun. I feel bad for the people letting themselves get upset by it, or being unable to enjoy it. Life is a lot sweeter if you don't fill it with hate.

Aniki Pft
>>107254571

Personally I didn't enjoy it, but I don't think it's okay to bash others that wanted to see them react to it.

Nick

how are u defending how visually horrible the show is LMAO

Mari
>>107254571

@Aniki Pft if they had not changed so much of it from the Mangwa, you probably would have enjoyed it.

i2agnerok

Nah this opening has me crying rn y’all are comedians 😭

Dudesjoker (edited)

Comment edits

2026-10-05 20:00 at first i didn't wanna be too judgy before seeing and letting the comments effecting me but damn this show is genuine shit lol. Bad cgi even though it came out in 2020 which they could've made it better. Also with stupid k drama face zooming and staring at someone's face for god damn 10 secs in a stupid situation. I didn't enjoy it but i'll give it another try on 2nd episode.
2023-04-27 11:08

john

bro dont waste time here read manhwa if you genuinely want to enjoy this story

Kyle Llewellyn

Oh no I forgot about the damn music lmao.. it’s so out of place and gets played so often. I still cannot believe they decided to play this song for this show during intense moments

Kameron Renae

I never read the WEBTOON but sometimes with adaptations you gotta open your mind and look at it separately or you’ll be disappointed. Just take it as it is, if you don’t like it that’s fine if you do great. At the end it’s all entertainment

Joe Michael

The horse could have some internal issues that you didn’t know about. Maybe it was dehydrated or had a spur stuck in it’s leg

David Mullaly

Still can't believe the weeb audience fumbled the barry/succession bag for us

Rena Unnie

ahaha yeah! it's him from The Glory!

Kylah Turner

those two movies are stop motion & too good to be compared to this

rosenthal

that imagine dragons section was kinda goofy ngl lol

LemonDrop

I think I--and maybe some manhwa readers--would've had more fun with the show if we hadn't read the source material beforehand. I'm actually optimistic about the Bastard drama though (the lead in Weak Hero is the lead in Bastard ^^)

shonen_slumpp

I had no idea Bastard was even getting a drama! OK now I'm hype!

Koosha☯️Possible🖤💚

Lmao, trust bro, I still believe and have hope they’ll watch Barry after snowfall. It did at least get third and there have been plenty of times they not only watch the 3rd most voted polled show, but sometimes even all 4 things they’ve polled. We shall see:) I think I’ll actually donate and ask if they’ll watch barry/succession after snowfall the next time Roshi and Sheera stream.

john

i try to keep an open mind but this is real shit show

john

bro a word bastard getting a drama that manhwa showed me how scary humans can be.

Gmoney

This soundtrack is so garbage

Spriggz

Skipped the intro at first because of the spoiler heads up for Vinland Saga, thanks btw for the warning. So glad I came back to watch the intro, was hilarious!

JsemicolonA

I read the webtoon Sweet Home long before the show came out and I gotta say even with an open and not comparing it to it's original source material the show was still terrible even on it's own merits

RobNoTabi

Y'all am I the only one how recognized the dude from the "Glory" show

Ed

Lupa's reactions be sending me

Hamse99

Lupa is mean with the intro lol hahaha

Lash

OMG IM SO HAPPY YALL WATCHING THIS

Dark Shogun

That tall monster guy reminded me of a vampire from The Strain.

Gaia

Was looking for this reaction and it's how I found the YouTube channel and decide to check out the YouTube channel. Been waiting a year for this. So had to join Patreon when I finally saw you guys reacting to it

Mukatutu

I watched this show first before The glory so it was jarring watching him have so much personality in glory lol

Zanae Smalling

He is the guy from the glory and I’m sooo excited

William Tippen

And now that it’s over they didn’t even like it that much 😂

Tre Staples

Yeah that shit fell off hard I honestly stopped watching after their fourth or so reaction 🤦🏾lol boy was I fooled, damn k drama bs

arlo

sameee

ERRORCODE616

lol I totally forgot that this show replaced whatever licensed Korean music they used with the same Imagine Dragons song. Love the show, but god does that make some of the more epic scenes goofy as hell.

Hughjass

I'm actually so mad they did that. They made me hate this song.

True

I wish they would’ve watched it in dub

💖💖

bro i am watching this on 2x speed and its still moving too slow!!!! what is going on in this showwww im so scared

zhuqi

not the cat!!!!!!
