sooo is it average youngman or mundane mann cause the episodes after this say mundane mann lol

Comments

Dre

its mundane mann lol

Revenant

Mundane mann

Devin B

It's definitely Mundane Mann

Fizzy

Obviously mudanne man

RUtheDon

Mundane Mann 100%. 9anime fucked up for this episode. Their subs sometimes are iffy lol.

Vongola Fiamme

these mfs evented plastic surgery thats crazy. imagine if that one white dude who wanted to be korean could harness this lol

Devin B

Damn Lupa you definitely got to brush up on your DC knowledge. The kind of posture you have can dictate the kind of energy you give off so like Cid did just know and Superman does when he's Clark Kent they purposely hunch offer and even change the way they walk to appear weak and low profile.

Kingmakaii

Lupa i ain’t know that either it actually makes since now why nobody recognize him cuz if Superman like 6’3 and Clark 5’10 or something they can’t be the same person even if they look like 😭

Jonathan

lol Lupa reset to Level 1 DC Fan

Charles Fine

I think Cid is the the embodiment of Fuck around and never find out....lol

JsnSkg

100% Mundane Mann. Sounds way better than Average Youngman, plus you have the alliteration which is a nice bonus.

KingWade

I was getting a lot of Queen Charlotte references I think in this reaction lol😂

Skebaba
>>108337982

Yeah but if LITERALLY translating the Japanese name for his ass, it's Average Youngman

Skebaba
>>108342042

Counter argument: the OG Japanese name doesn't have alliteration either, tho

Nick Galitis

Mundane Mann for sure! Also did you guys notice Rose fiancé's name?

vork88

tournament arc starts

JsnSkg

Does it really make zero sense if her fiance's name is "Perv Asshat?" He probably tried to pull some fuck-shit and Rose was like, "Fuck you."

ogking31

what translation they be looking at lmao

cciacona

The names don't translate too well, especially names like "Perv Asshat", which sound stupid in English. But Mundane Mann is the better translation.

Skebaba
>>108339125

Yeah in some shots as Clark Kent even after decade+ of not reading shit, I can mentally recall him looking like fucking Solomon Grundy, hunch wise

timpkmn89

You're looking at two different translations

Quincy

If you guys like this then you have to watch the Baki fights with Pickle. Those are gonna be some of the greatest fights in animation.

Dan

he did flood the city the last time tho and destroyed the first one

Breachr

There was a character in this episode named Imatry Nottaloos.

KeYo

i was so confused why they reading different shit im like where they see that? but i forget they see different subs

Caryl Hector

With Lupa here. Pissed because I also have never heard that Superman changing his height when 'disguised' as Clark Kent thing.

xProKnockz

I realized I lost $40 while watching this💀

NecDW4

LOL Lupa's whole world crumbling around him. I have never even read a DC comic and even I knew about Superman fucking with his height.

V

Lupa: “yeap it gotta go somewhere”😂

Yisus

Lol Lupa being mad salty because he didn’t know superman also changed his pose to look weaker/shorter

PolishWizard

When mom says we have subtitles at home

Drake Rage

To Lupa's question in the intro, it seems like the area gets "conveniently" cleared before Cid nukes the area, but it is probably because of Shadow Garden (the girls) that think of everything and "cover" for Cid, giving him space to "play" but yeah ***Cid is definitely not thinking about the damage/lives/collateral damage he is causing*** lmao. So yeah, thank the Shadow Garden (the girls) for keeping the damage to a minimum cause they probably do a LOT of behind the scenes work to keep everything going smoothly to avoid Shadow Garden being labeled actual villains themselves, lmao.

zanderbander

damn the subtitles yall are reading vs what we're reading is insane. im seeing tuna king while yall seeing mgronalds lol

Arturo1629

Daddy Roshi (pause) , I need that oregairu ep 🥶🥶

L.C.

When crunchyroll didn't pay their subtitle employees so they couldn't eat and instead spent money on making a weird luxury office

L.C.
>>108364328

I am serious tho.... Didn't something about that pop up at some point? Like a year or two ago?

DevilMayCarter

This gives early Dragon Ball-era vibes...Goku eliminating Krillin with a bunch of punches nobody saw.

John Endaya

I gotta see Anos Voldigoad vs Cid Kagneou. That shit's gonnna be wild.

Dragon

mundane man is the better one

Jazzy Jinx
>>108358125

Nah, the dynamic of the show is that all the Shadow Garden girls (including the 7 Shades) BELIEVE the bullshit stories that Cid tells but Cid thinks that they're in on the LARP and are just playing with him. There are misunderstandings on both sides and those never get cleared up. Cid has no clue that the organization has gotten as big and powerful as it has. He's still actively trying to become the Eminence in Shadow even though he already is one. He just doesn't know it.

Karoshn

“It’s me… Faust” 😭 Thought I was the only one Lupa

Karoshn
>>108358125

this is wrong. Cid tried to come up with some bs story as he recruited the girls but the stories he told were unknowingly true and the girls believed them as so. Cid thinks they’re playing along because to him it’s still just a made up narrative.

Xavier Chandler

Watch See on Apple + or put it on a poll I ain't tryna tell you how to do ya job

HarveyD
>>108340299

Superman doesn't "change" his height. He just uses a different posture to appear different.

HarveyD

Love your guys' reactions but were you always getting these ass subtitles?

Oliver

I never heard that about Superman

Karoshn
>>108369394

Faust is a character from the Guilty Gear franchise, he also wears a paper bag over his face and uses a blade as a weapon (it’s an overly sized scalpel) Cid heavily reminded me of him

Arc

Mundane Mann is correct

Chris Johnson

The superman thing is half right. As Clark, Kal El changes his posture, slouching so he doesn't look as tall. As well as changing the way he speaks, becoming more timid, wearing glasses etc. It's surprisingly easy to make people not recognise you if you change a few key things that are highly recognisable.

Chris Johnson
>>108350670

Yeah, he changes his posture by slouching a little. Surprisingly effective along with the other things he does

Hueki Yuuki

Here comes some of the most awesome stuff ever soon ! !

Kanagi

Annerose Nichtsehen is the girls name and "Nichtsehen" is german and basically means can´t see

AonixGhostlyQ

Wooot way to go "imatry nottaloos" the ultimate champion

SlackyTv

In Devil is a Part timer wasnt it also McRonalds

anthony

no oregairu?

Zed

A want a reaction to Akame ga Kill!

The GoDKing 27

I’m with lupa I didn’t know that either

The GoDKing 27

Put agame ga kill Also I don’t think they have done kill la kill

Overlord_Ashalon

So the official name is Tuna King a play on Burger King and it was started by The Seven Shades when they were first starting out as a way to make money. The anime and manga don't cover this I learned it from the official app game. My guess it's info from side stories in the books.

Ads
>>108491835

it was probably easier to translate for the official release but in jp it is a play on mcdonalds as they pronounce it like makudonaldo, and in this world its maguronaldo - maguro being tuna XD

Johnathan Shelton

The guy at the end's name was "Ima try not to lose" lmfao!!

SilverX7
>>108396971

That was a duo reaction, they’ve already covered all of it Edit: nvr mind, I forget this is an older comment

Michael
>>108394172

Fun fact they actually cameo'ed with McDonald's a few months ago now. It was pretty crazy to see Satan smiling in a McDonald's self checkout kiosks thing.
