Giyuu

Luffy_77

Yo Roshi, I vividly remember you guys reacting to Record of Raganrok… but apparently you guys never did… I couldbe sworn u guys did, am I trippin? Just asking cuz Baki always reminds me of that anime lol

tyster 420

Gas show🔥🔥🔥

Luffy_77
>>109721896

Dawg I even remember Lupa specifically pointing out this one chick with big titties lmaoo I’m going crazy

Moon Glow

Fun fact : Baki's author (Keisuke Itagaki) is also the father of BEASTARS's author (Paru Itagaki)

SupremeCai

LETS GOOOO did not realize y’all would be watching this, such a fun show

Mimi

Finally BAKI!!!!

Raider

I Love Baki! Just forget about logic in the show and enjoy!

Emiliano Ruiz Chong

Seems that the crew enjoys the show, that is great because there will be a new season on july, so you won't run out of episodes to watch.

Lawlach

Yeah honestly surprised yall have never watched this. Show is made for yall

CartierCasket

Roshi gon make me wanna strangle him with that caption I swear🙂😂

PiquesoJac

I USED TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THIS🤧🤧

Ryujin

I’m surprised this series wasn’t recommended sooner this show is pure heat

JayFazo

Just beware the CGI was fucking horrible the first season but later got polished and used less in the next ones. Still an enjoyable first season though.

Patrone07

Yea Baki been a classic yal was sleeping mad hard on this show

Godrick

It's the CGI slideshow bro.. I wanted to like it more than I could.. it's like when T.J. Millers talking to Deadpool, we all know Deadpool's cool but "Mothafucka you are hard to look at"

Pickle

hell yeah yall starting from here

chewysbutt

Baki is like the chad martial art version of JJBA.

Seraph_Dalgon_

This is easily some of the best kinds of entertainment one could ask for. Just balls to walls insanity at every turn, I love Baki.

Chris Kringle

I dropped a Baki recommendation nearly 2 years ago and I have been silently waiting for the payoff😈and yes the first ep is just a touch of what is to come

Asad Khabir

If 'On demon time' was an anime

Mr T Allery

WE NEED MORE EPISODES ROSHI 2 A WEEK AINT ENOUGH PLZ

Kmulqs44

Guess I’m heading east

Alvaro Garcia

Can we poll to see if y’all would watch it with Dubs instead of Subs? IMO I think the dub is Black Lagoon levels of fun and absurd at times

EZ

Red Hair dude same VA as Dio

Devin B

No OG Baki or did they see it already

Godrick

The reason his tongue was out was because when youre hanged, but your neck doesnt break and you suffocate instead, your tongue swells until it cant fit in your mouth and the pressure in your head pops your eyes out of your skull. Hanging is actually a really ugly way to die

Fizzy

since you guys love jojo this anime is right up your alley, straight chaos lol but entertaining

Edwin Melendez

Bruh! Get ready for the ridiculousness!

RuTo-San

Dam been awhile since I watched Baki it's hell of a good show👍

Norrin Radd

Y’all should be watching the English dub. Step your game up, familia!

Shawn Oxley

Finally, the ridiculousness of Baki

EZ

Roshi: "I need more episodes of this now" THEN WATCH MORE 😈

Alexander Szabo
>>109724032

They really shouldn't. They usually watch sub, so why change it? The dub isn't really anything amazing like some actual renowned dubs.

Silver Wolf

love Baki! Im excited for you guys to watch, I havent seen it in forever

EZ

Sheera they didn't shoot the glass , he already busted it regardless

Silva Jin

Man i swear if baki isnt in the new tekken im going to lose my shit! Baki x Tekken has been looong over due.

Kingmakaii

All I’m say is y’all finna enjoy this show

ShyGuy

My man roshi almost passed out during the outro lmao

Kevin Campos

If you enjoy this, scissor seven on Netflix. Almost identical… (;

Harrison Crandall

I hate baki, can't believe it won out over madoka. This anime is so trash XD

Maxxximus

Wait till Roshi finds out that the author of Baki is the father of the author of Beastars lol

Aidan Price

I been recommending this for a year!

hix
>>109723341

not enough people asking for the dub version plus they already started

EZ
>>109724369

But the sub has a goat cast, and funnier moments

EZ
>>109724032

Sorry but the Jp cast they got is too legendary 🤷‍♂️

Zlee

Listen security needs a rail gun and people willing to stand watch 24/7

Jacob R

Yo, they aren't ready for what's going to happen.

Infinity

I cant wait for them to meet Oliva lmaoooooooooo they gonna love him.,

Stephen Delong

FINALLLY and yes this show is literally jojos just muscle 🤣

Mikhail Smith

Speck is actually the oldest of them all around 90 something years old

Shawn M Fredericks

Beastars creator is the daughter of the creator of Baki

Reem

Im not gonna lie, I just assumed you've already seen it. Glad youre reacting to it nonetheless

Jacob The weird
>>109727150

I deadass thought they’ve seen this already too. It is right up their alley too for straight fuckery going on

Jayden Holder

Nice, this show is good for its ridiculousness, dope reaction

Indiah

Roshi just to Let you know guns are basically useless in this verse

Mesha

I’ve watched this anime in sub and dub but I see the whinny kids crying about not doing the dub so y’all should definitely watch BAKI in the Dub

Devin B
>>109723508

@LiquidXGravity ok copy, I wished these guys watched OG Baki to get the full context but this is cool too

Devin B
>>109724693

I know some people mentioned it during the Beastars reactions

abdulrahman fahad

I didn't expect this this is the most first episode hype I have been in a long time

Gloccr

the art style of this show scares me just like jojo. like they look in pain LOL

Stephen Walker

Yo! I had no idea you all hadn't seen Baki. Yeah, you're in for a wild ride. It's an amazing show

Shadow Garden

In a while yall will realize this ain’t like jojo’s at all lmao

ClayPM

Man Baki's dad yujiro is a whole predator. In a number of ways XD

CleoKujo

Oh you guys are in for a treat it gets absolutely in sane I wish you could upload it everyday🔥

Bosastar

Baki characters damn near have powers😂💀

Ranginald Vagel

I lost my mind when Sheera brought up killing somebody by blowing on them before it happened

Gate

wonder how long till they figure out a lot of the 'scientific' long expositions on stuff is all just bullshit on "people only use 1% of their brain" levels lol

Devin B

Funny enough even in OG Baki he didn't have any scars, they just decided not to give him any

L.C.

Well we been recommending danmachi to you as well but you still haven't gotten back to that yet.

twis tempo

My back has abs chill

Deshawn Smith
>>109730492

the anime is season 1 isn't bad, and s2 and 3 were weirdly paced but season 4 is probably the best all around. I wish the adaptation was handled better because the light novel is top tier

Harrison Crandall
>>109724636

Boi you know what I said. I'm sticking to it. Baki is trash, muscles don't work like that, madoka was clearly the better choice. At least with madoka they ain't tryna pretend that their magic is real, unlike baki and it's weird muscle stuff.

LeHarlequin .

ITS HAPPENING. I requested this so long ago, I can't even remember 🥹

DABSLABOG

thank the anime gods and like this ha try way crazier

Demer'sLemur

aw no dub? but baki's dub is actually good tho

KeYo

what i wanna know is......how tf did they even get these mfs locked up?!!?!? how did you manage to arrest them?!?!?!? im quitting after i see that fucking prisoner walk in fuck you lmao

Cameron Smith

Yes This show is just jojo with more muscles

LeHarlequin .

Imagine Goku going grocery shopping, and the entire building gets the shakes 🤣

Bobby Robinson

Welp buckle up for some craziness 😂😂😂

Chai
>>109724257

I mean if the glass can repel a rocket I don't think it can repel bullets

SoClose

Baki straight out-jojos JoJo. This one's gonna be fucking good.

Yahroh

Oh snap. Yall watchin Baki????

Harrison Crandall
>>109724636

Who's Greg what's that supposed to mean. Not angry or upset btw just confused. Also from my perspective y'all the angry ones that need to calm down I'm just chilling smoking pot lmao

metronxtdoorr

yea shanks with the conquerers haki????

Isaac

Shooting these guys will never work, Roshi. They built like Resident Evil bosses.

shadowdarkninetales

Not only is there no safety on a revolver he fired the gun twice.

Champion Bescos

"JoJo's with only/all muscles" sounds about right for this show, judging from this opening. Lol.

Vincent S Deluca

Roshi gonna love this ride lol Jojo but instead of stands it’s muscles

Bob Bob

I thought you guys were starting from zero with Baki the grappler.

Kisuke01

Bro in the opening when Baki is idk choking that dude idkw it reminded me of when Eren was trying to cracker Reiners neck in AoT

Spriggz

I rewatched yall's reaction to that brain blasting scene like 10 times lmao! I can't wait to watch more episodes

Camari Selvy

just so yall know this isnt the first baki there were 1 or 2 shows before this when baki was younger and got to where he was at now just in case yall are confused

Hi How are ya
>>109745110

If you actually take 3 minutes to watch the video they address that within the literal first 3 minutes

Hi How are ya
>>109730492

I bet you they wouldn’t even fw Danmachi that much, it’s just a mid tier ecchi show

Champion Bescos

No hate, but there have already been a few people on this thread who didn't have the patience to watch the opening minute of discussion explaining that ya'll watched a recap of those initial seasons to get a jist of what to expect from the world and characters before starting right off with the Netflix show. lol Can't wait to see the plethora of similar youtube comments from people who also notoriously skip the op/ed discussions.

Dre day

This is one favorite anime

Sam

Here we goooo! You guys are gonna love this show

Mari
>>109730492

I really don’t like the Danmachi anime that much but the light novels are peak 🔥🔥

Denickart
>>109730492

Iirc it already won a duo poll but then y'all got greedy and didn't want them to watch it without Lupa so they went with 2nd place and then forgot about it.

Random Guy

is this actually season 1 episode 1? I was under the impression that this is a sequel of the old one show.

CJPM

In my personal opinion this is one of those amines with a great dub.

Tirzah

Once we get more into this show, if you haven't seen it yet, I recommend CJ Dachamp's YouTube video on Baki's father, Yujiro Hanma.

CentipedeKid

Didn't expect them to skip og Baki

blkmage

If yall haven't yet Record of Ragnarok is amazing for just how straight forward lets murder each other and look awesome doing it

GigaDirt

This show is so stupid and I love it

Karoshn
>>109745110

they know this lmao, was literally the first thing they mentioned

J Man

Everyone here is Mash Burndread. Muscle > Magic

Asad Khabir
>>109724636

'Muscles don't work like' You do know that magical girls dont exist either right?

Karma

Anyone elses videos stopping on patreon?

Harrison Crandall
>>109724636

Not the issue, the issue is that baki acts like it's just real real, whereas madoka is just like this is just something that exists here in the fake madoka magic world it ain't real real.

sotonye ogan

Man this should be 3 episodes a week as this point this is so gas

Tzezuko

Oh man, my husband voted this for our weekly anime watch-party group and they were DYING while watching this show. It's so insane that you just can't help but laugh and enjoy!

lyssa

Excited to start this

Mari
>>109747581

They watched a recap video of what happened in the Original

Mari
>>109749005

It’s not even a bad story but the animation is horrible, manga was good though

Wild

btw the submarine part no they didnt just put him down there thats a real prison in florida that goes really deep underwater i believe it exists in orlando

Core
>>109724636

Because it’s fucking fiction, brother. What a non-issue. 😅

Emman Reed

So fucking excited for these reactions to Baki. :)))))))))))))

Guts Fire

You guys are lazy for just watching a recap lol

Jeremiah Wagner
>>109768572

Well considering the Netflix anime literally goes over the events of the previous seasons I don’t think the are lazy at all

Bree
>>109749005

I won't ever forget what they did to my girl Brunilda's facial expressions, she looks cool in the manga and in the anime they watered her down

Lyandro
>>109768572

And they don't got the time to add more to their already full list of things to watch, but at least be grateful they did their due dilligence to actaully watch a recap🤷‍♂️

Mari
>>109768572

They would have to watch 50 episodes of the old Baki then 50+ episodes of the new baki. And than a new season is about to come out soon in July so……… there’s no reason to waste 25 weeks watching the Original. The new Baki goes over and shows flash backs to what happened in the Original anyway

Amos
>>109768572

Lmao lazy stfu they don’t wanna spend weeks watching that old shit be happy they watching it at all

Mari

Also Roshi you can go on ahead and throw away using guns on any of these dude’s, they don’t work

Antonio Williams

Before y'all get to far, I NEED to emphasize this...This show has it's own understanding of science. It may seem realistic but it's as grounded as physics in the Fast and Furious franchise. Also on this day Sheera clarifies that she knows what shock is. The personal growth is real

Guts Fire
>>109768572

It depends on which recap they watched. However, in my opinion, watching the original Baki series will provide you with a more comprehensive understanding and knowledge base for Baki. By watching the original series, you will be introduced to the characters, their backgrounds, and the overall storyline from the beginning. This foundation will enhance your understanding of the characters' motivations, relationships, and the events that shape their journey. Additionally, the original series sets the stage for subsequent seasons and spin-offs, allowing you to appreciate the evolution and growth of the story and its characters over time. Overall, watching the original Baki series will provide you with a more complete and nuanced understanding, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the world of Baki.

Devin B
>>109768572

No lie I started out with watching the first episode of Baki on Netflix and then I found out that there was a whole prequel to it and decided to watch that before continuing watching the one on Netflix and I was grateful for doing that cause like you said watching the OG series gives you a better understanding of not only Baki but the verse as a whole and you can understand the plot that leads up to the Netflix series better than a recap. I agree watching the OG series would make anyone appreciate the Netflix series even more but at the end of the day if they don't want to watch it it's ok.

Jigga Man

They literally BLEW this nigga brains out WTF

Mad4Life
>>109782730

There's been hundreds of comments explaining to Sheera what shock is so there's way she shouldn't know how shock works now. Anytime Sheera brings up the characters are in shock though she's typically being sarcastic since she's jaded from past reactions clapping her on the topic.

Kameron Renae

Bakiiiiiiiiiiiiiii lol I feel like some ppl recommend this when y’all were watching castlevania. A lot of gems on Netflix

Chance Lee

Please watch the first 2 seasons of baki that came out in the mid 2000s the story takes off from there

Emanuel S

I been waiting years for this lets go <3

Drake Rage

Damn, this was a lot of fun. I am getting Jojo vibes, but more focused on the brutality/violence. The pseudo-science explanations are interesting too, like what they say might be theoretically possible, just not practical or realistic. Like the hand on the special glass, he created a "vacuum" by tightly pressing against the glass and pulling away insanely fast, his hand was like the plastic suction cups you attach the GPS to on the car windshield, but a lot more powerful, so his hand's suction effect made the glass break off and continue being attached/suctioned into his hand, and made a hole like that; Fun to think about, haha.

TimmSchmimm

Honestly considering that the old baki is 50+ episodes or smth like that I think it was a good decision to watch the recap, I watched the og baki before watching the netflix one and I enjoyed it yes and it was kinda worth but at the same time it wasnt because it had quite a lot of episodes I didnt enjoy at all. It was kinda tedious because I wanted the new baki that made me wanna watch it to begin with (memes, trailers etc. just seeing it in social media) and it kinda ruined the experience for me a bit that I have to go through the old anime adaption. Its like the first half of jojos part 3 it's just idk... tedious while u also kinda need that journey to appreaciate the part 3 finale of jojos you dont need it as much for baki (sure it does make a difference but not as much) so I think a recap is sufficient.

danial javady
>>109768572

they have to balance out the reality that if they reacted to the old series no one would bother watching it. It's a waste of time. They have to do this to put food on the table, remember

Jappa

wait which comes first Baki or Baki hanma im confused

Jackson

Always late to the gas shows lol

kristian

I knew y’all would fw this show but mannn. I can’t even roll a blunt while I watch this shit without missing sumn and then being lost on wtf is going on😂. Entertaining tho for sure

ok
>>109728525

they should watch it because some* people are whining? hell no

ok
>>109768572

baki is cool but it's not like THAT to where they need to do that and fill up the schedule for so long

ok
>>109782730

she knows what it is but doesn't think its valid hence her always giggling after it like it's a nonsensical explanation lol

Muricon

This show is absolute FIRE, yall are gonna love it

Jojo_avena

Hey whats the recap video to baki if i may ask

Pussy Bacon

baki is for sure a fun watch just gotta remember anime logic lol

Crown Clown

why does the video keep pausing at the 15 min mark? This is not the first time I've had this issue this week. Never had issue before though

Thomas Holman

One of my favorite animes, y’all in for a fun ride

soul
>>110230407

use safari, for some reason chrome always crashes with patron. or if you remember were it crashes at you can skip a little ahead after and then it should play.

Alex

Ah man, yall are missing out not having watched the first series, Baki the Grappler. It precedes this one in the timeline, so there's some references and characters you might not immediately understand. Still, i started the same way, this series is weird and awesome, enjoy

Kangdarius

Did they watch the original show? They missing out on some awesome shit if not. In my top 5 anime’s

Kangdarius

Damn that’s wild they didn’t watch it from the beginning. Missed some great tournament fights. Shit that would have u at the edge of your seat. Welp

Kpop Tart

If you’re genuinely interested in why they have “back abs”, and why a lot of lean muscular people have “back abs” is because the abdominal muscles actually wrap around the area between the ribs and pelvis from front to back.

Olpop

Blew that man’s brains out

Brandon Acevedo

Just joined Patreon for your Baki reactions and it was worth it.

Dead
>>111584035

They watched it, they even referenced how the red haired guy looks like young baki.

Td Jd

Is that Dio VA?

alf ie

brooo im so pissed i accidently watched baki hanma before this, oh well imma still watch it cuz ik its gonna be funny asf

Yasha of the flames
