Final verdict, 6/10. Next season would need to be exponentially better to continue on tbh

Comments

Jappa

yeah this show can go down the drain

RamenIsGood

This show blew out succession and snowfall 😭😭, where the fans at now?

TYC

Should’ve been Succession ;(

SomeStupidGoat

watch happiness pls its a way better kdrama

Coco

They need to just remake this shit. The WEBTOON is pure gold and they should’ve just followed that story instead of changing what they did.

Andy

Thank god snowfall next

Shib

They didn't do the webtoon justice. But it was fun watching y'all react to the goofiness instead lmao

Victoria Edward

This was one of my first k dramas, it was not good, there’s way better k dramas out there

ok

Literally any of the choices in the poll would’ve been better than this - sometimes the fans confuse me ngl like they passed up Succession, Snowfall and Barry 😭

Dontsop Keran

Can’t believe y’all mfs voted for this over snowfall

Unreal

Can’t believe people chose this over Snowfall that’s fucking insane hope some of y’all get better taste on god

ogking31

Who picked this??? Oshi no ko fans?? If so no wonder both of these shows are mid

ok
>>109814865

I was so excited when the poll came and when I saw the results I almost passed out lmao

kristian

This the show y’all all voted for over snowfall 🤡i wonder what roshis Patreon demographic is 🤔

Asad Khabir

And there it is. The most stupid change they made to the adaptation. The webcomic is called Sweet Home because of the ironic play on the fact that the Home, the apartment complex is not very sweet to live in. That's why everyone was a weirdo even before the outbreak started. The cast also remained in the building until the very end. Then why would you choose to move the characters away from the apartment complex. How is it even 'Sweet Home' anymore? That's like making Train to Busan but it all takes place in Tokyo or something

Masneomlock

Hopefully we can get Barry soon even though it lost the poll. You guys will love it.

Me Me
>>109815094

Some of us remember it being goated but we have matured now that we’ve seen it again. I apologize on behalf of kdrama community, I think the fact that it was kdrama made it more popular 😭

Kaylah Marie

Because i wanna know who voted this one 🤣 lol thats okay, on to the next

JsemicolonA
>>109814943

Should've made this into an anime really atleast they would do the Webtoon justice

Coco
>>109814943

I agree, the anime would’ve gotten the tone right, and hopefully the story right.

Sakib

SNOWFALL TIME!!!!!

LiquidXGravity

Please yall have to watch snowfall 100000x better than this show

BerserkerAce

You guys should try sleepy hollow or kengan ashura

Samuel XK

6/10 its really generous

JsemicolonA

I just feel bad for all the people who voted for Snowfall to win and this won instead just to be fair though the Sweet Home Webtoon is not bad at all it's actually pretty great but the K-drama is trash overall the show gets a 3/10 for me strong first episode kinda but completely goes down the drain as it goes on the Webtoon/Manwha however 10/10 fantastic piece of media I hope they're gonna do good for Bastard though cause us Sweet Home fans in the mud right now (Edit: I change my mind this shit is a 1/10)

Courtney Alexis

Now you guys can get into an actual great show. Snowfall time. 🥳

Alfredo

All of Us Are Home has concluded. Will S2 reactions see the light of day? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z!

Kai Lee
>>109815235

Barry is definitely the best Reaction content they'd get out of all 3 but Snowfall is simply just peak so good call from Roshi to do it anyway. I definitely think Barry should be a guaranteed show after Snowfall.

ok
>>109815094

There’s a chance that I’ll find it in my heart to forgive you all. That day isn’t today but maybe someday!!

Sung Woong

Please try Kingdom Roshi! I've been fighting for my life out here trying to stop people from recommending these mid Kdramas. I promise you will not be disappointed with Kingdom (2 season and a movie) imagine the Glory and Train to Busan into a series. Has to be a trio because Lupa will be scared the whole time!

ZO

I think the reason the fubar thing didn’t move because they threw a Molotov behind it so he was pretty much trapped

WAFFLETITS

Hope we get to see you guys watch Black Sails someday. It would be the ultimate palate cleanser to watch one of the greatest series of all time after a dud like Sweet Home.

Caryl Hector

Thank God this is over. Looking forward to Snowfall.

Asad Khabir

I love how they literally do nothing against actual monsters trying to kill them and just stand around but are quick to kill the one good one. They consistently make the wrong choices over and over again. None of them are likable except for the Christian guy

Caryl Hector
>>109814916

Genuine question. Do ya'll actually think they would enjoy Succession, or do you just want your fav reactors to check out the show you enjoy, regardless of their tastes?

Caryl Hector

Genuine question for the people who wanted Succession. Do ya'll actually think they would enjoy Succession, or do you just want your fav reactors to check out the show you enjoy, regardless of their tastes?

Fizzy

this show was a waste of time

Infinite Ree
>>109816517

It's about a bunch of asshole rich ppl right? Idk if they would like that but I haven't seen them shit on a lot of shows so far

Souradeep Goswami

Everyone who voted for this should lose their voting privileges…how did this beat Succession?

Alex
>>109816517

Both. Your post seems to imply that they won't enjoy Succession though. Roshi & gang have good taste, I don't see why they won't enjoy a critically acclaimed show.

Vongola Fiamme

Can’t wait for the inevitable 4/10 for midfall

Alfredo

(Sweet Home wins the poll) Sweet Home fans: "This show is fantastic, don't like it, don't watch it hater!" (Season 1 concludes) Sweet Home fans: No be there.

Caryl Hector
>>109816517

I don't want to reduce it to that description, but yh basically. It is good though. But, I just can't see them enjoying it the way I think the Succession fans really want. And their enjoyment of the show is going to affect how they react. And we all know how these communities get when reactors don't feel the same way the fans do about stuff they love.

Ruben Villarreal

netflix said fuck the webtoon we gonna get our moneys worth and milk the shit changed the ending and everything there was no 2nd season

Kd

snowfall 10/10

OD

to be fair the webtoon was trash too. i was surprised it got a show to begin with

Kd
>>109816996

let’s be fr man snowfall prolly top 3 or 5 shows ever😂

TYC
>>109814916

Succession is heat and a good balance of drama comedy and modern day. It’s popular for a reason

Gawr

Yall already know a K Drama/ anime show is always going to beat a regular English show 🤣🤣

Caryl Hector
>>109816517

I'm not implying they don't have great taste at all. I love their taste and have been a fan of the channel for a long time. But when have they ever reacted to a show that resembles material like Succession? It just seems like a weird choice to push. I get wanting it though .

Vongola Fiamme
>>109816996

It’s def not that. The best praise I can give it is out of all the generic gang shows it’s one of the better acted ones

TYC
>>109816517

Why don’t you think they would enjoy it? Seems to be a crazy psychoanalytical jump

ok
>>109815165

But the thing is I’d never heard of this show before the poll. All the other options have SIGNIFICANTLY more “hype” than this haha like they’re winning Emmy’s and shit

ok
>>109816517

The show is hilarious. I mean the writing is incredible + it’s intriguing and entertaining plot wise. I mean go look at the IMDb scores for some of the episodes they’re a reason it’s so high. And it doesn’t get worse throughout the show like one of the episodes in their latest season is at like 9.9/10 on IMDb

AzureSiegfried

Bastard is way better and I wish that webtoon got a show

Alex
>>109816517

Maybe it's just me, but I think the Succession fan base will be okay with Roshi & gang reacting however they want to react.

ok
>>109816893

No clue and it seems a lot of the people who didn’t want this show also don’t want succession? I’m fine with any of the options like snowfall is insanely good but I’m confused why more people aren’t suggesting succession everyone and their mother is talking about it right now because of how incredible it is

Alex
>>109816517

Also, Odd Taxi is similar to Succession in the fact that it's super dialogue focused, and Roshi rated Odd Taxi S-tier, even though Odd Taxi would have no chance in hell winning any polls on this channel.

kristian
>>109815165

Kdrama be having people in a chokehold. Funny how this show won that poll but I don’t see nobody in these comments defending the show or explaining why they originally voted for it😂

Quelz

Thank god its over, cant believe ppl voted for this over Snowfall or Succession.

Caryl Hector
>>109816517

Perhaps, Alex. Maybe I might just be too pessimistic in my view of certain Youtube/fan communities. I understand people interpreting my question as me thinking they won't enjoy the show. It's just that we don't see a lot of shows like that on the channel. That's it. And I was genuinely curious as to what motivated people to suggest it (other than it obviously being a critically-acclaimed show. At the Odd Taxi bit, that sounds good. Will have to check it out.

Mari
>>109816996

it’s good but Top 5 best tv show ever is crazy, I’d say it’s probably top 100 at best. You’re underestimating how many peak shows are out there

ChiChiMcGee

Please god its shorter than succession and snowfall🫠

Me Me
>>109817729

Starring park jihoon from Weak Class Hero and K-pop group Wannaone/ solo artist

Please react to from its a hidden gem

Woah woah woah. Let’s not go overboard. Oshi no ko a banger

Shiroja

When the guy grew the wing and it retracted it looked like it was coming from the his left shoulder blade. It had nothing to do with his arm, I could be wrong but that is what it looked like to me.

kingBD
>>109815044

Lmao the 6/10 was to avoid pissing off the people who voted for this show

Kumi Chan

I read some of the webtoon for sweet home, and its way better there

Terry King Jr

LETS GOOOO SNOWFALL TRAIN CHOO CHOOOOOOO

sotonye ogan

snowfall is prolly the first black eccentric show yall gonna react to ? oouwee my hands are rubbing with joy.

Elle E.

You guys should get into the TV-Show Running Man think you'd like it!

Trishell Shorter

Y’all really voted for this bootywater Over snowfall barry and succession? It’s Tragic🥲

KeYo

like i said before this was a fun watch for me. ill agree with roshi that there were things that weren't executed well. i have to say tho. you guys complain alot lol like no hate or whatever just i feel like sometimes you guys just would start nagging the cast at times but ill give it a 7/10

Ethan Durant
>>109827896

Nah you puttin it like that makes me realize how wild it is that this shit won😂😂😂😂😂

Colonel

Yes, swap that out alreadyyyyyyyyyy

Franklin Saint

Let’s goooo the late John singleton the goat masterpiece of a show snowfall I can’t wait for y’all to react to this amazing show

Himothy

I give it a 5/10

Himothy
>>109827918

The fact that you gave it a 7 makes your entire comment invalid.

Elle E.

STRONG start but I agree with yall's comments at the end. 5/10 for me.

Gene Ryan

To get the real Sweet Home experience, you need to just read the webtoon. It's significantly better. I was surprised when they announced a show of it because there was so much I thought would be hard to bring to a tv show without a massive budget. Was not surprised when it was so poorly done that it was hard to watch. I'd honestly rate it lower than you guys, but the webtoon is a solid 8/10.

Gmoney
>>109814865

succession and snowfall are fire and lost to this show is crazy

Kidhavac

Watching it with y’all made it a 5/10 you guys are the GOATS for some how having me dying laughing this series BUT ITS TIME TO LET THAT SNOWFALL😂😂

Prune Chips
>>109827896

It hurts so much that this won over Barry. Succession too, but especially Barry.

KeYo
>>109827918

why? because i didnt give it a 3 or something? i enjoyed the show but i didnt give it a 10 because there was too many error and stuff. how is my personal opinion invalid? or are you talking about the comment i made about them nagging?

Asad Khabir

The wig stay catching strays from Roshi

Tahti

Omg PLEASE watch Vincenzo, Weak Hero Class 1, Kingdom or King of Pigs next

J Man

Watch Extracurricular w/ Lupa. Geun Su from Itaewon as a pimp! Y'all already watching Geun Won as a Narc in My Name

Joe Michael

See you need to stop listening to these polls uncanny counter

Ethan Vinson

This 6/10 should have been SNOWFALL which is a 10/10. We tried to let yall sweet home people cook, but now it's actually time to serve, BRING THAT SNOWFALL REACTION !!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥

JJ

anyways I'm ready for snowfall next week finally something for the culture 🔥

Paden Snell

Hate to be the guy im happily about to be, but; Shoulda been Barry

Diego
>>109835289

Sorry mate looks like getting scammed out of 3 episodes already

t_t

yall the manhwa is really good! please read it! netflix butchered this 100%

Kite
>>109816098

Yea I don’t spam requests but upvote whenever people recommend Kingdom. It’s one of the best and most unique zombie series I’ve seen.

rkfabricante

Now snowfall going to be 🔥🔥

Arturo1629

I think Roshi hates oregairu

Asad Khabir

Oh btw Lupa the webtoon ended. It actually ended even before the show came out. Recently the author of Sweet Home released the prequel to the series called 'Shotgun Boy' which goes into more detail about how the whole monster outbreak started.

emma

you guys definitely need to watch Weak Hero Class 1 next its another k-show its so good

Courtney Alexis
>>109827444

I just started that show and it’s great so far. Would love to see them react to that or Top Boy one day.

Terry King Jr
>>109838272

I honestly wouldn't blame him if he did, I liked the show on the first watch but on the rewatch it's not great, nothing particularly exciting happens and the scenarios the characters are put in aren't interesting. It's flat like a coke that's been sitting in a hot ass summer car.

TheRoyalHat

this is one of my favorite webcomics/manhwa but this really disappointed me, poor adaptation. I encourage anyone who sees this to give the source material a try. :(

Danger Tomato

I just hope theres no more kdramas in polls with western shows.

Warui Yang

He wasn't listening to high pitch noises, the earphones was high pitch because Hyun was a monster and when monsters are near the earphones make high pitch noises, that was how he was able to find Hyun.

Rakudai
>>109845232

When Imagine dragons started playin during episode 1 I immediately clicked off lol.

@Arturo1629 classic response from a weeb dick rider that cant engage in a discussion. If anyone is a sped its your retarded ass

YaBoyLoshi

Hey roshi if i got you guys a link to gotg3 would you react to it

Sofia & Chill

Everybody's allowed to have and voice their opinions. I don't enjoy K-dramas to be honest ( well maybe if Netflix's involved lool ) but I'll be keeping an eye on what they choose to watch, so people from the polls we're counting on you to give good shows please!

Mari
>>109845285

He said he was putting weak hero 1 in a trio poll 😏 if enough people ask him to watch a Kdrama with lupa included, he will put it with other shows that aren’t Kdrama

Phroug

I will confess, I am one of the people who voted for this show but only because I've only ever seen the webcomic, and (wrongly) assumed that the NETFLIX show would do it justice.

William Tippen

Bet you niggas that was bitching because I said they chose this bs over snowfall lookin dumb af now 😂😂 they don’t even like this shit

greenb3ar
>>109816517

I think Barry would be more their thing for a reaction, but Succession is like an all-timer now with shows like the Wire, Breaking Bad, etc. I don’t see any reason they wouldn’t love it.

Kevin

The wing was cool but I was really hoping they would have stayed true to the MC’s transformation in the webtoon.

Mimi

Vincenzo or Crash landing on you!!

Danger Tomato
>>109845285

If kdramas are such a big deal, judging by the fact that sweet home (hot garbage) won, shouldn't kdramas get their own poll? And weak hero is just not better than succession, Barry, and even snowfall.

STF

Would y’all consider reacting to a very specific upcoming one piece episode…?

Daco

Ya'll need to watch weak hero class, it's so much better than this mess of a show.

Esther N

The way I couldn’t even finish watching the show. I dropped it at episode 5. It was a mess to be honest. React to weak hero class next. A much better show

Esther N
>>109882544

Not hellbound. That’s another mess of a show to me. I agree with weak hero class they should definitely watch.

BoxHead

(WEAK HERO CLASS) WHENEVER YOU CAN CHECK IT OUT!!!!

DestructoDiscman
>>109816517

I'm not sure why they wouldn't enjoy it. It's not that far of a jump from something like Peaky Blinders. No violence sure, but ultimately it's about family drama, politics, power plays. Great writing and it's funny. It's a little bit out of the channel's usual pics, but I don't think it's a huge stretch. I mean, they just watched Beef and I wouldn't call that their usual fare either, but it made for great reactions ( will admit that I don't think they'd like it for the first few episodes, I didn't either. It's a show that takes a little while to click)

DestructoDiscman

this show is why I got mad at the Kdrama stans. Not because K dramas are bad (shout out Vincenzo, hope that gets a reaction), but most k drama fans will vote for even a mid kdrama over a western (or other region) show every time. We coulda had Snowfall and barry or succession!

Stanley

Y’all was hyping this show

Doctor Drossi

Please react to ITS OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY.

Candy

thats why i was asking first episode how this won the poll lol

Sukisuki

Weak hero is better

KingdorismHD

No more oregairu I'm guessing

Josh Rangassamy

Snowfall and the last kingdom recommendation

top
>>109886991

But y’all have to understand that a lot of these people, especially the “kdrama stans” you speak of, don’t actually know what Snowfall or Barry is. I don’t even know what Barry is about and I have never heard of it. And they have already seen Sweet Home so they will pick what they know. And at the end of the day, they are still gonna give us Snowfall so Idk why you guys still complain. They have only reacted to like 6 kdramas and 3 of those being a duo reaction. And thats a few out of the million other types of shows they watch so yall can relax.

Mari

Vincenzo in the future hopefully or vagabond 🤞🤞

DestructoDiscman
>>109886991

Oh for sure, anecdotal, but most k drama fans I've seen mainly watch K dramas so they end up overloading polls and burying other shows, regardless of quality. I'm not mad about k drama reactions in general, but hey I'm allowed to complain about shows I think are bad (like sweet home), regardless of if they're k dramas or not. It's not like I'm out here commenting on every episode

varus ez

Weak hero class far better than this trash show tbh

Mari

Weak hero 1 after this

sotonye ogan
>>109838272

I love the show but that shit needs a little push and drive they teasing too much shit

earthphoenix7068

This show went from Resident Evil to Prototype. I gotta read the webtoon to avoid this no direction writing.

_k.ayl.a_

even "Happiness" was better and they also did it when covid hit

Toria

Weak hero 1 after this plz

earthphoenix7068
>>109910592

I was just joking when I typed Protoype before finishing the episode, but when buddy became the truck I died laughing wtf is this

Champion Bescos
>>109827444

Gangs of London was great. I’d rather they did GoL and Barry over Snowfall, and they’d still finish before they caught up on SF, but that’s just me.

rickie woodson

im joining the "weak hero class" train. its real bout high school, live action. if you dont get that reference, god of high school. nuff said

Kevin Campos

That’s what y’all get for ignoring Scissor Seven on Netflix!

Mari
>>109906926

Even if I did recommend this, who gonna stop me from recommending another Kdrama because it for sure can’t be yo clown ass 🤡But to answer your question I didn’t recommend this but I definitely chose this because it was the only thing on the poll I had watched

KeYo
>>109827918

there is a difference between nagging and me just pointing things out. i used the word nagging and other people use other words like i said no hate towards them but they did complain a lot about the cast lol. constantly screaming "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" lmao. also i think you missed something. they never said they didnt like it and neither did i lol but thanks for your input

Anonymous
>>109942419

@Mari naw just keep the korean shows on a separate trio live action poll. its clear that all the weeb kdstans will just always vote for kdramas even when there are better shows. Case in point when we had plenty of clowns who voted for this trash. Even tho the other three shows were massively better

Mari
>>109942419

Facts @ddg69 that would be better but that means they would have to make more time in there schedule and I don’t think they can. That’s why he puts Kdrama’s with other shows. But that’s only when the Kdrama community ask for a Kdrama to be a trio reaction like weak hero 1

Anonymous
>>109942419

@Mari That's true, the only solution I can think of to that is to make the current duo polls with kdramas a trio and have it be its own slot. And this actually works out considering so many people have been saying they want lupa to react to My Name.

mello

i finally figured out the earphones emitted high frequency noise thing when there was a monster nearby thats why it cut off when he took it out his ear

Although this adaptation was S-tier diarrhea I had a blast watching it with you guys. You're reactions to the bad direction and NPC level character decisions was fucking hilarious.

Season 2 of this but without the most useless cast of all time would be great. As well as better camera work

Yep this boy was not good, I can’t imagine the original being much better if this is how the adaption turned out. 4.5/10

zay
>>110046231

i haven’t read it but apparently its actually way better then the adaptation because a lot of stuff was changed in the show compared to the webtoon

Drake Rage
>>110046231

That's like saying Lord of the Rings is bad just because Rings of Power was dogshit, or saying Classic Disney movies must be bad because the "modern" live-action remakes are a pile of shit, lol. In this show I think the actors gave it their best, but probably had budget issues and bad editing.

AlanCee
>>110046231

Eh I meant more along the lines of Chinese and Korean comics/novels, whatever you call them. Kinda worded it wrong, but yeah I don’t blame the actors, just the ones who were in control of the script

AidanRain
>>109942419

They can’t do that cuz lupa isn’t always with them, the duo k-drama reactions are only a thing because they are shows that Sheera and Roshi would have watched anyway so they just record it for us

Anonymous
>>109942419

@AidanRain okay then, well that makes sense. But I still think that Kdramas should have there own slot away from the other live action shows.

Sator Collins-Forbes
>>110046231

nah man it's a strong 9.5/10 comic, this adaptation didn't capture even 50% of the og content properly. it's so good it got a prequel that feels like a diff series but makes perfect sense called shotgun boy, and is going to get a sequel that combines both stories' characters

Dexter

Dark times are over

Denzelwya

THIS SHOW WAS PEAK

William Morris

I didn't want to watch this show alone because it looked trash and I was hoping you guys would make it entertaining but now I just feel bad for making you guys suffer through that dogshit story.

Denji

i ain't watch the show, but imo they had a perfect framework to work with bc of the webtoon, so wth made everyone dislike this so much???

acooliemoore

Yeah the webtoon was 100 times better, I was hype for this show cuz of it and it ended up being dissappointed

Vanessa

in Dezember is the 2 season coming the trailer is treally good

Connor Powers

I truly don’t understand how this show got a second season there are so many better Korean shows than this

Snax

obviously it had enough popularity that netflix deemed it worthy of a second season.

Just finished the final season. Not my favorite show by any means, but it kept me intrigued til the end so 👍🏾

Season 2 waaaaaaaaay better
