Lightning in a bottle

We need that Atom eve In invincible special reaction ASAP. Shit is a banger 😬!!!

Jalan

Actually they acting are in an actual place. The glen (short for Glenwood) is basically a neighborhood in Decatur, GA

cœur

they said next week already

Newerk

loved this movie, didnt expect yall to post this

ComeTseMe

I am friends with one of the Producers, Stephen ‘Docta’ Love. We went to Morehouse College together. We took Gen Ed courses together, and in one of the courses he would talk about the ideas of movies he wanted to make after graduating. I’m so happy y’all got to enjoy the movie; much of it was shot in Atlanta

Karma

Is anyone els videos stopping at random? Its been going on for months now for only Roshis Patron videos. I have to keep loading the pages over and over again for them to play after it stops at random.

Terrence Carter

This movie was great but lupa calling the old man niggler was the best part 🤣🤣🤣

fly

For me its on pc, and especially on edge so i just switched back to chrome and it hasnt happened again but idk its annoying

varus ez

I hope we will see more kdrama on this patreon ❤️

Key0

this movie was great ! 10/10. they literally played on all the theories you would hear about black communities being controlled through music and the food and the drugs and corner stores. they definitely set up another movie with the reveal of tyrone at the end and i hope they do chinatown too and we get to see who is in charge of all of this.....which is probably the president or something lol

Fano

Fontaine never remembered lmao.

Soul King

just want to say no one peeped the juvenile choir instrumental lol

Imari

Yeah some black people wanna be white real bad but mostly cause of the small messages demeaning what it means to be black. Some people don’t want to truly talk about it but some black people are so brainwashed they want the power white people have instead of trying to dismantle the system. Which is what the original Fontaine was supposed to represent. It seemed like he had been hurt by the system so bad that he chose to inherit it instead of take it down which is trash but makes sense especially with how some people act out here. Loved the movie 10/10

Joe Michael

Some black people want to be white some white people want to be black I just want to be high. Weed it’s what’s for dinner.

EmoBurrito

Movie was better than I expected. Like you'll said it had a bunch of social commentary, from various angles. You can draw your own lines to what each thing meant. Just don't think about too hard because somethings were for sure contrived lol. But overall really dope movie. Also I'm pretty sure that is Monica haha

Danger Tomato

It was ok.. why yall overhype everything

Mirrorline

The movie was great but what I don't understand is why would they put a dead man back in the street when a lot of people knew that he was dead.

J Man

The "White dudes with afros" reveal got me. I thought they were just white dudes with afros, only to find out that they Klay Thompsons!

J Man

Why wasn't this movie released in Theaters, it's Theater worthy

DatBoi Lol

Happening to me for months also on chrome. Never on mobile. It sucks.

JotaroDrake

Y’all still doing spiderverse?

RuTo-San

The longest time was wondering if that was Jaime Foxx because the way he talked😂 can't really see much in a dark room

britt

it dont come out till aug 8th

hypokokoro

This movie is a fucking banger, It's up there with Nope and Get Out

hypokokoro

yeah but apparently the digital release will be on august so it will probably be moved next month

rickie woodson

lupa thought they were talking about 2pac in the 70s??? CRAAAAAAAAAAAZY

rickie woodson

we'll see but i think yall are just reading too deep into it. for me its giving homage. its just an ode to 70s blaxploitation films. think batman the animated series: set in modern day but aesthetic was the 1940s from clothing and cars down to bruce's black and white tv.

terrell thaddies

To answer y'all question about the actress who plays Yo-Yo, she's Monica Rambeau from Wandavision. She's also going to be one of the main leads in The Marvels as her hero name, Photon.

Bona Fide

I watched it because you guys uploaded it then just finished watching your reaction. 10 for real this was so good

rickie woodson

oooooh oooh im peeping some shit. every commercial they have shown is a product that has "the powder" in it and its only black products in a black neighborhood and the villains are white..........MIND CONTROL!!!!!!! dont know what the cloning has to do with anything. maybe a failsafe if they cant control us all just replace us with brainwashed clones? dont know but im loving this film. its giving tarantino but cooler and with more vitality

rickie woodson

roshi: she looks like monica rambeau. me:..................BRUH. that is her lol so yes she looks like herself. miss teyonah parris

rickie woodson

cant give it a 10. 8-8.5 max. that ending monologue with the real "fontaine" dragged for me. once he revealed "im turning everyone white" could have went straight to the "kill him chester". juxtaposing it with yoyo and slick's fight made it worst cause now we have TWO scenes that dragged in one. i do like how they laid ground works for films if they wanted to revisit this world by saying there are other sites in the country. like do a they clone chester and have that one be about chicago. but the shining star for me was the banter and dialogue. BABY! it was so good! i tip my hat to the writers. BRILLIANT

Ochai

Man the insane tiktok conspiracy theorists finna have a BLAST with this movie

Blud

damn bro you talk a lot

j young

In the church scene everyones dancing to back that azz up idk if anyone else noticed you can hear it in the background🤣??

Sugoi_Boi__

Oh my god I didn’t remember what y’all’s “Egg Theory” was till the very end 😂 where they were thinking some eggs had started a zombie apocalypse I think, from a previous show they watched and they kept focusing on Eggs

Tommy G

We still getting that eve episode?

DJ Muldrow

I think the reason the time period didn’t make sense is because it’s a set, it’s a white person’s imagining of what “the ghetto” is.

TypicalBlackGuy

was low-key dying😂, ain’t no way he ain’t notice that yet😂

Lamaree Jackson

What I thought watching Sorry to Bother You would be like. Instead of horse niggas

Argo2Unitard

This was like the sequel to Attack the Block I never got

poisonivybag

Me, watching this as a Scandinavian white person living in Scotland: 👁️👄👁️ what?

girlygirl9983

Lol ok Sheera always writing the script, 17:01, 19:08, 27:16, 58:27, 1:36:04, 1:39:18. Love how she just subtly lets us know what the heck going on 😂💀 THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING, 10/10 for me bc I have no complaints. Loved the ending. Reminded me of A LOT of "Everything Everywhere All at Once" ...started kinda chaotic & confusing just like EEAAO.

Void

It's not really overhyping, they already watched season 1 and made it clear that they are going to watch season 2, so it makes sense for them to watch the special so that they can know what is going on.

Wsgyan

The niggler one took me out ngl 💀

Danger Tomato

Kinda reminds me of they live, yall should watch it

Danger Tomato

I'm talking about the special, it wasn't as good as the season.. it was ok.

MELO

Can Sheera give me some lottery numbers? Her predictions are always on point 😂

Elita Easter

Btw that IS Monica Rambeau 😁

Aaron Gauntt

I think Roshi mentioned on Twitter it would be coming next week

quxntum

this movie is the definition of the butterfly effect. after his first death and the restart he buys the scratch off again but this time he scratches off the bottom instead of the right one so the whole day is messed up.

JayFazo

Let me find out Sheera apart of the cloning bs cuz she knew everything lmao.

ULTRA TV

Oh I thought it was cuz the government did for so long the time periods just merged together over time like they started in the 70s all the way to the 20s

UniversalBeauty

That's why she has the Sheeragon, she's lived through all of this and just doesn't realize it yet 🧐

suzu

losing 2 full points for one thing is kinda crazy ngl

suzu

bro this isn’t a live stream😭

suzu

i might just start kicking down random abandoned houses to see if i find any elevators

Derek Sanders

Yo-Yo wasn’t a clone - she was a dime a dozen because she wanted to leave and had already left. She wanted to do something more than the hood and be a prostitute. Therefore she was “free” not a clone and unable to be controlled by the code word. While Fontaine & Slick feel like they are a product of their environment (which they literally are) he doesn’t think he can move forward & he believes this is as far as he can do so he’s in the “trap”.

J Man

Yoooo! I'm ded! Mah Man Lupa called the hobo riddle man, "The Niggler".

Damarcus Miller

Aight sheera @44:53 it’s finally confirmed that you can see into the future 😂😂 like wow she catch on to stuff pretty fast

Delinda Arts

The Niggler cracked me up lmao

October Veil

Thank you for the reaction Sheera Ryoshi and Lupa; I'm pretty sure I'd have slept on this otherwise! I had no idea that Juel Taylor was also involved in writing Creed 2. Going to keep an eye out for more of his stuff.

October Veil

And can we get a Sheeringan t-shirt or hoodie pls?

WhyWaitChris

That is the same actress that plays Monica Rambeau. (The “niggler” lol)

J Man

The Niggler sounds like Blankman's version of the Riddler

Alexis Sullivan

There was definitely some subtext about how Black people are slowing breeding ourselves out over time via interracial relationships but I'm not tryna start nun tho 🙃

Bria A.

Thanks for the reaction! I was only halfway through it on my own so it was nice to rewatch and catch the back half lol.

nathaniel dixon

YOYO was Monica rambo in wandavision and DEATH in the sandman

Stanley

naw bro being black is a cheat code we delete other races cause majority of the time our genes are the more dominant ones and the kids end up looking black any way. and even if they are light skin they are perceived as black even though they are biracial. (im talking just to talk)

Brandon

probably recalling it wrong but Death was a completely different woman (still fine tho)

sotonye ogan

Idk why I always read the movie title as "they done clone tyrone" lol

Denzelwya

Prob to maintain balance and if anyone suspects anything they replace them with a clone or kill ‘em ig

Divinerights

Is this a Black American issue or do you mean globally?

Alexis Sullivan

I'm a Black American so I'm only talking in reference to my Black American peers.

Alexis Sullivan

Because that's how we would've said it lol

Stanley

this nota movie its a documentary

Stanley

bro and the commercials was talking about the spicy chicken sandwich remember how niggas was acting up over those Popeyes spicy chinken sandwiches a few years ago

Oni Legend

Bruh they made Truman Show for niggas…and it was some heat fr

Azzy V

I feel like the reason they put it in the chicken is because the stereotype of “black people love chicken “ , grape juice , perm, all the things that black people love “stereotypically “. This is a great and deep movie that just goes to show a lot of governmental shit the government does to keep minorities under control and keep the powerful ones on top

Corey Leach

Mane yall missed the song they was playing in the church which had them like turning up and twerking lmao. It was a church version of Back That azz Up by Juvenile. Also the pastor was David Alan Grier.

PersonaFyde

Great movie, probably even something I’d go out of my way to recommend to my friends and family to watch.

Cory

Egg theory was from "Train to Busan"

jade kitty

The song at the end got me

Wrëck

I always feel refreshed when our culture puts out one of these movies just pure niggatry 💀💀

Guav

I see a cultured FGO watcher has appeared

Wrëck

Brothers in arms 🤝

Karma

illl try to use oprea gx

Brian N

This film got me questioning my own home town right now. I'm going exploring a small area here that has never been fixed up just left damaged but blocked off by a wooden wall that gets repaired. So why repair something if you aint gonna do nothing with it. Gonna start asking the homeless, elderly and out of social people around about it. Sure out world may not be like this film but i do think its more of a documentary about the world itself.

stanley drury anderson jr

The fact that no one could tell what year it was was crazy I’m glad I wasn’t the only one

Chuzo

the movie takes place in a fictional world thqat isnt the 70's or modern day. notice they have flip phones and the modern day atlanta slang!

Arsean Wilbon

Think about it. Darkskins get dogged, but light skins are generally more excepted the house slave and field slave narrative. Light skins walking around with nigga hair. They pass.

Skrappy

Yall missed the song they played during church.....Juvenile "Back That Azz Up" 😂

Jayden Holder

Greate movie, and reaction, aye I wouldn't them coming down to Memphis but we don't need no Mo hoes

Rak

The place Roshi/Lupa were saying they went at in Vegas with the hidden door behind the soda cooler is called Meow Wolf, the building it's in is called area 15, it's a sick exhibit with hidden doors n shit everywhere

Hueki

They're repairing the blocked off parts because they don't want to deal with stupid mfs getting in and getting injured, arsoning, or dying in there where it's abandoned / people don't belong.

Lola

loove this movie, gets you thinking. I live in the country and I have to drive to the hood to get hair products.

KarlWittaC

I just want to know that everyone realized the church music was Juvenile - back that ass up

Chanda Henderson

great reaction. Sorry to Bother You is another classic with similar themes. Would love to see y'all react to it!

Clrissa young

the title being like this reminds me of John Dies in the End

The Zany Spirit

I have never, ever in my life heard of this movie. Do non-black people just not get ads for movies with black leads? My recommendations are racist.

Blackbulls6

Y’all going to be quoting this movie at the next NBA draft.

baja

its not just a systemic racism ctaommentary, its about the plantation concept. to me its showing why did some slave not leave the plantation after the civil war

Cheyenne Predium

The mind control chicken reminds me of the plot from 2002 Undercover Brother.

vesra

Remember what the dude in the suit said; the clones are expensive but everyone else is a dime a dozen. Fontaine/Tyrone are the assets, so they're essential to the operation. All they have to do is snatch up or kill anyone who figures something out and wait for the rest to be brainwashed with the Compound H in all the food, the music and perm cream and stuff.

Mirrorline

Hmmm but they didn't show any scene where the organization is trying to kill the people that knew..even when they knew, they still let them go.

October Veil

Brandon you are correct: Kirby Howell-Baptiste played Death in The Sandman, Teyonah Parris was Yo Yo and Monica in Wandavision.

Safire

I also want to add that this movie does an amazing job of showing self-awareness and showing that after being aware of their situation (gov. cloning key figures to control the population) they want to change it by bringing the community together to stop it. Remember that not everyone is cloned, the key figures are the ones that majorly influence their community. Loved that the movie is multi-layered and bring comedy into the mix, but I think that these concepts will be overlooked by a lot of people.

Johnathan Shelton

I can't believe yall didn't catch that the song "Back that ass up" was playing in the church lmfao

Angelo

Make a reaction to the bloopers 😂😂😂

Rob Gene

Loved this movie, I really want to see you guy's reaction to HBO Watchmen, that's another superb one.

Yamahai

Yep. I can't really explain it but I felt some type of irony during that scene while looking at Lupa, Roshi and Sheera on the couch... No disrespect to them but shit had me thinking maybe it's actually working lmao

Sare

This is a way better version of "Us". It was funny, had social commentary and the existential crisis was far scarier to me.

Vinne

I think us was kinda missing the balance it was coming off of the black horror movie trend this does the same thing but it's like that mixed with scary movie's humor

Vinne

A fucked up thing i realized about this movie is that most of the cast is dark skinned i don't see any mixed people here at least on screen

Jay Cross

This something to truly ponder cause it’s not a coincidence my friend

catfootprints

Another movie similar to this I would recommend is “Sorry to Bother you” starring Lakeith Stanfield. Another great Afrofuturism movie with great social commentary!
