Sorry for the super late uploads, today was a day lol

Comments

kingBD

Just in time lol

Damarcus Miller

It don’t matter if it’s 4 in the morning, you know we still watching 🤣 most people didn’t like the finale btw but I give it 6/10, plot holes all over the place.. so was Rhodey a Skrull since civil war?

RamenIsGood

Since I didn’t get my question answered in the live, are you guys having a panel at dream con or any meet and greets at dream con. I know the whole convention is damn near a meet and greet but do you guys like have a time or just on the fly? Or both 😭

Ser Dweeb

"I waited for you" *sad music plays in the background. a tear falls from my right eye*

Shockzz1234

Well. That sure was one of the D+ shows of all time lmao. Shout out Gravik and his actor though, carried this shit.

twinuzis

show was ass ngl peacemake definitely did this concept better

gamerman1902

Man this show did Rhodey dirty. Your telling me the actual Rhodey wasn’t at Tony’s funeral and doesn’t even know his best friend is dead? Just feels like the writers were chasing cheap shock value with that one.

Danger Tomato

And now we watch another god awful show- witcher.

Nunya

This show isn’t connected to secret wars they just both have secret in the name (I’m pretty sure)

Davon Thomas
>>113821964

They definitely took him after end game, probably after TFAWS because he was still crippled at that point. So they probably grabbed him doing a hospital visit to check on his progress

Brandin Williams

Roshie FYI secret invasion has absolutely nothing to do with secret wars lol. Secret wars is multiverse shit.

Kingmakaii

Just accept it Roshi tbh lmao

Spawn_tiger

Harley quinn back yahhhhhhhhhh

Drake Rage

Roshi sounding like the Pastor from "They Cloned Tyrone" when he saying "This was really good, I think it got a lot of unnecessary hate, idk what people are expecting from Marvel, i dont think this was bad." Yeah the whole show was filled with plot craters, not just plot holes, but yeah this was just fine, yeah...

ShaquanVirse

Imagine if this is how we get mutants. All those people so close to radiation

YungZeus

Man, Marvel just can’t please everyone. Most of the the dumb complaints is it’s “not funny” or there’s “no superheroes”. Also, pretty sure it’s not a plot hole that Ritson didn’t hear Fury in episode 3 or w/e. Man was knocked out.

AutumnOnFire

This fucker Fury just left huh. Whole ass war waging on Earth and this guy decides to go for a trip again. Cap and Tony woulda combo'd him for that.

Joshua Burns

Fury and his wife out here rocking the same cut😂

rickie woodson

DAMN! whats up with lupa's arms? they looking NICE. he training for american ninja warrior? wonder what gym he's at.............

Gilthwixt
>>113823894

It's not the worst but it's definitely not high quality. I recently rewatched everything up to Infinity War and if you put the best moments of movies like Winter Soldier side by side with this show it doesn't hold up. C tier at best.

rickie woodson
>>113823542

i think the "what are people expecting from marvel" sums it all up. this is what i expect: subpar trash. wandavision is the fluke of perfection im waiting for them to repeat, personally. with different people all having the same complaints about the same scenes and some of us arent even in the same country lol yeah disney needs to hit up some netflix, apple and hbo writers cause this just aint it

KeYo

dam i really wanted rhodes to call in the war machine suit but at that point he didnt need it. unless they took it from him and the skrulls hid it but im sure pepper has tracking on all suits or something. either way it was a good show.ending was kinda flat tbh because gravik was such a good villian and he got his ass whooped kinda easy like dam

John Cedar

I love how Ebony Maw's DNA includes his rings 😂

jeremy

Rhodey seems like he was taken after the events of civil war right after the scene he was in the MRI machine with the hospital gown as the clue.

Jerry89

The people were underground so they were probably kept away from the radiation.

howwlll
>>113821964

So Rhodey is still crippled AND he probably has cancer now? Damn

Big Daddy Dre
>>113825418

I love that you have to do his hand gestures to use his powers i thought that was just some bougie shit he did 😂

Cane Tejada

hey guys, Those phase-shifting powers came from ghost, the villain in the second ant man movie, hope this helps

YungZeus
>>113823894

I mean, a movie is definitely going to be better than a show. Especially one that can stupidly be only 6 episodes.

mg
>>113821084

he got the brace on in infinity war i believe

SlashZaku

Rather enjoyed this but I've been enjoying all the shows (movies have been more of a miss for me and I haven't watched the last 2 released). Dialogue was probably my favorite part of the show, mostly the stuff with Gravik, Sonya and Nick/Varra scenes.

Ohais

In the comics, secret wars has nothing to do with secret invasion, it's a whole different storyline. But I don't know how they'll do it for the movies, they might use it to continue the Skrull story

Ohais

I rather enjoyed this show. I think I only had a few issues, which were only with this episode. I didn't really enjoy the fight; it was so short. Gravik didn't really feel like a threat because they gave each other equal back and forth, Gi'ah had no damage on her, and then he just died really quickly. So it was a little unsatisfying. And they didn't really need to give the DNA to him in the first place. They were both already super skrulls, but they wanted a big flashy fight and the super DNA was the only way they had to give the fight some threat. If he had attained the DNA in a different way, other than just being handed it, I would feel differently. And I think they cut too much on Gravik's monologue. I think if they had had it as a few shots just focused on his face and expressions, I thinm it would have been a bit more impactful than constantly cutting to awkward angles and looking and the back of his head. Close up side and front angles would have been best. Other than that though, I enjoyed the rest of the show. The back and forth dialogue between Nick and everyone else was always good. Gravik's actor really went ham on that final performance. And Sonia is without a doubt my favourite character in the show lol. She was so polite and jolly and while taking no shit and kicking ass.

DatBoi Lol

I'm glad I waited to watch this with yall because it just didn't do it for me. I thought Samuel L Jackson would pull me back into the MCU but even he couldn't help a motherfucker out. I hope the new daredevil will reignite my MCU interest.

$am

I think people dislike the show because they overly deconstructed Nick Fury as a character and made him kind of an incompetent individual which is in stark contrast to how they depicted him in the Infinity Saga

Tay
>>113823590

those were regular humans bro not skrulls. and itd be dope if this is how they tie in mutants op

Corey Leach

Man now i'm thinking of all the different groups we done seen so far that the Skrulls could have infiltrated like New Asgard, Wakanda, the Avenger's family and friends, etc. Show was pretty good and I feel like they really upped the violence. Also i jus thought about how the blip took skrulls away which would jus add to them being unsettled, confused, and angry.

Father Feugo

A lot of folks seem to note that Fury isn't as cool as he seemed in prior movies but, I kind of figured that was the point though, this wasn't tended to be your prime nick fury, they made a statement about the reason he was missing an eye patch the entire show was to represent his open vulnerability. But overall, I personally enjoyed the show, sure the finale isn't 10/10 but I can't pretend this isn't a new steppingstone in the right direction for marvel in terms of overall tone and structure; maybe not story obviously. I also might be able to understand why the show seems to end on such a strange note, given the show was supposed to be tailored to fit the spy espionage theme, the finale ends in a super brawl; however, I speculate the show was cut at that point in order to tell separate stories in other projects. We'll most likely continue the story for Rhodey in armor wars, and his dilemma of being gone for as long as he was, and possibly the inclusion of the US Government using his suits given he wasn't really there to deny access in Skrull Rhodes place. And the ending that hints the Kree Peace summit looks like it follows later in The Marvels given the Kree seems to be a major plot p[oint in that movie as well. Overall, I'll give the show a solid 7/10

Patrone07

I think some people have genuine complaints while alot are just racist (people outside of patreon) who hate seeing a primarily black leads in a series or film so they’ll come up with a whole bunch of reason why they think the show is shit without saying I’m just racist ex. The Little Mermaid

Michael Colmenares
>>113843723

I have to disagree with you here. While it does happen at times I think we can all agree the random swap of little mermaid was kinda dumb and unnecessary. But Nick Fury has been one of the most loved characters in the MCU for years and people wanted to see him be more badass. Out of all things that people criticize only because the lead is black, this isn't one of them.

Brakthir

Has Roshi ever said he didnt like something lol

Elita Easter

I just feel like Marvel needs to do 9-10 episode series like Loki and Wandavision in order to avoid the finales being so lack luster. I liked this series but there were times where things felt rushed and I feel like the storyline didn’t get as fleshed out as it could’ve Honestly, I think this would’ve been better as a film rather than a mini series

Abraham Lever

The finale was definitely disappointing and felt very rushed. Show needed another 1-2 episodes

Teyon Alexander

I don’t know if anyone mentioned this here but it’s not specifically Skrulls the President is declaring war on. It’s all non-earth borne species. That means ALL ALIEN LIFE. Skrull, Kree, Asgardian, Inhuman, Eternal, etc. he is calling for open season on all of them. I think this will lead into Secret War and also into the hunt for mutants. I am curious how the Marvels will play into this, I could swear I recall it was supposed too hit before Secret Wars but had to change its release date.

Austin Friley

Y’all gonna watch the atom eve special?

Dirty_Oldman

Wait are they joking about the radiation thing or do they really not know?

Patrone07
>>113843723

if you seriously think people out there aren’t hating on primarily black leads because they’re racist then that’s your own wake up call your evading that’s like saying racism isn’t real because it’s Nick fury what a joke and if you actually believe some people out there is racist than theirs more of a chance my original statement is true than not true as I stated some have a genuine hate for the show but I don’t think all do if you believe everyone is being genuine then your just naive to the reality around you .

Michael Pamon

Secret Invasion and Secret Wars have nothing to do with each other, guys. The events of this show will more than likely be referenced/followed up in The Marvels, Cap 4, and Armor Wars.

Dooly
>>113830790

Oh god. If that’s the case I hope they don’t bastardize the source material.

Quashmo
>>113843723

This has got to be one of the worst takes I've ever seen on the internet.

Patrone07
>>113843723

You said absolutely nothing to back up your statement because deep down non blacks like to act like it’s not true, while blacks try to not bring it up or down play it to appease a certain crowd im over that Bs truth is truth yea I said it you don’t like it that’s to damn bad

Jordan Postle

This series was an inconsistent mess

Victor Grubbs
>>113876427

Marvel just likes to use Secret in the titles of a lot of their big crossover events lol

Ledish
>>113855264

Yeah, my first thought was regarding the Asgardians, and if he will try to pressure Norway into disallowing New Asgard. Norway is in NATO, but not the EU, so might be difficult for them to stand against the US on a matter like that. Plus, Hemsworth has said that while he enjoyed getting to play a lighter Thor with more humor for a bit, he wants to get more serious again in any future films, which could fit well. **GOTG3 SPOILERS BELOW** There's also the question of how Star-Lord will deal with this, now that he's living on Earth for a bit. Will this be what pulls him back in? **SHE HULK SPOILERS BELOW** Not to mention how this would include Hulk's son, and the rumors of a World War Hulk movie coming. Maybe it'll tie in? Would be cool to have a new Civil War movie with a much larger roster of heroes, fighting over how to resolve this new situation.

Ledish
>>113823542

"with different people all having the same complaints about the same scenes" Not saying these complaints are invalid or anything (and this show certainly had a TON of problems, even if I personally mostly enjoyed it), but I would be careful about seeing something as legit or widespread because it's repeated a lot. There have been several cases where I have seen criticism spread like that which was clearly NOT legitimate/correct, only to trace it back to one or two Youtube videos pushing the idea, and the rest of the "agreement" coming from people quoting said video (or quoting yhose who quoted it).

Yahroh

Seeing Don Cheadle Getting headshot on DIsney is wild lol

Daniel Robb

I dont understand the hate for this series. Sure Marvel couldve done longer episodes, wouldve liked that, but what we got isnt some "incoherent mess" it all flows and ends with moving the MCU forward, giving us new characters and events...

Daniel Robb
>>113851289

Maybe he just doesnt have an incredibly high bar for media like most people do nowadays because the internet lets us act like our opinions are somehow meaningful or special. Could also not care to jump on hate bandwagons?

Jordan Postle
>>113897619

Yeah I also get it's popular to hate on anyone who just doesn't like something marvel releases. All those people just held captive in that radiation zone and none were sick or dead. The trained Skrull being taken down easily by the far less trained Skrull in a lackluster finale fight. Fury not just shooting Skrull Rhodey exposing him as a Skrull. Making Super Skrulls just so unnecessarily ridiculously overpowered to the point were any content with them in it will be pointless unless we bring in Fantastic Four to devise a way to depower them greatly. Making the decision when introducing Skrulls to retcon their comic book depiction of war mongering people into people victimized by the Kree and simply refugees, then trying to back track on that in this show as them always being just as evil and warlike as the Kree hence why they truly lost their planet. In the comics their reason for wanting earth was clearly defined by some Skrull holy prophecy that it was it wasn't destined to be their new home. In the show they want you to believe that throughout the whole galaxy/universe there was absolutely no planet for them to settle on. I have my reasonable reason for not liking the show.

Steven H.

nah this show sucked

Sy'mon Almeida

secret wars has nothing to do with secret invasion. its a whole different story

Isaiah

That green eggs and ham comment was out of pocket lmao
