BONE

Charlie baker

Yeah the yasha ape was a big early fight for baki in season 1 when baki was 13. Very great arc

earthphoenix7068

A fight between Ali and the wrestler was real but the names were slightly changed

Big Daddy Dre

Bro it is not that hard to go google Muhammad ali and see that this nigga had Parkinson’s disease before his death that’s why he’s shaking and drooling😂🤦🏾‍♂️

PyroPhoenix

No I dont think Yujiro trained Muhammed Ali Jr. He just wanted Yujiro to meet his dream

Infinity

we almost to the china tournament fuckery. They aint prepared and then what comes after lmao.

Devin B

It was dope for this show to big up Ali through Yujiro of all people praising him for all his work, having the strongest man in the world talk about Ali like that had more of an impact than if anyone else said it.

Devin B

Yujiro didn't train Jr, Ali just wanted Yujiro to see his dream martial arts within Jr

KiliSloe

It's difficult for people to accept when an icon is struggling, as they prefer to only see the positive aspects. However, the anime's portrayal of Ali's illness was not meant to be disrespectful, and the author actually holds Ali in high regard. The show depicts both the good and bad aspects of Ali, including his illness, but ultimately emphasizes that he will always be a legendary figure regardless.

Jaelyn Mcgee

I think Ando is based off Andre the Giant. he looks like him at least

A

Man I can't wait to see you all react to the face off next season

Devin B

In OG Baki they said that Yujiro and Gaia (the guy who was torturing Sirkorsky) were equals when it comes to destructive capabilities. They can both take an army down and in one of the flashbacks in the OG series they actually showed Yujiro taking down an army but Gaia relies mostly on tactics to take an army down whereas Yujiro just uses his brute force to accomplish the same thing.

Vexxed

Did Sheera just try to conjure a demon in that Punch kick strike grapple scene?

Phroug

I was really hoping Roshi would have read about the comments from the last video about Ali having really severe parkinson's disease which explains the shaking and drooling, at least that way the saltiness wouldn't have carried over into this episode

Dayta13

I know that Roshi & crew watched a Baki recap video on Youtube before they started watching the Netflix Baki. But it just hits different when the show reintroduces characters and you*ve actually watched the previous anime.

Mubarez Ahmad

I don't know why Lupa is so annoyed with the way they are showing Ali in his later years, the show is clearly respecting his legacy but is also showing the effects of his Parkinsons in a somewhat goofy way, but the whole show has some goofy shit all over the place

Key0

then they wonder why the comments be coming after them lol. do your research. at least google in between episodes lol. other then that the flashback was pretty nice and that wrestler ali faced in real life was Antonio inoki. for those who were wondering 😲

Sleep Deprived Sal

The end of this EP had "He think you , double cross?" vibes.

Kane

Y’all gonna watch the next season please ? 😭

Don't Care

I love that Yujiro, being a man who fought off the U.S military single handedly in the Vietnam war, shows respect to another man who basically fought against an entire Nation in his own way, as well as being a symbol for the cast down Black Americans of that time period. This show gets randomly deep when it's not totally bullshitting every 5 seconds lol.

tygspeedy

Trio for Hajime No Ippo, top boxing anime and its made by Mappa and madhouse!!

timethy girkins

Had to turn up my brightness ta see dem yams gyad damn

Husky

i cant remember where it was from when roshi said "ah it stinks, nice and good" but i see the animation style in my head lmao

Shawn Oxley

Even Yujiro has to respect the goat

Jamaal Ellison

I remember vividly reading this chapter in the manga so it's crazy to see this animated. I always get a little nervous and uncomfortable with our portrayal in Japanese media so seeing that had me on edge.

John sekiro

Sheera really doesn’t rember shit in this show with all the stuff they watch she said “is that what’s his name dad”😭
