Cheesecake

This is why roshi can’t be given powers man

mitch anderson

Ngl, I agree with Roshi. Just hollow purple the whole station lol.

bleach

Sister complex is here

ElswSwine68031

Damn I thought today would’ve been THE episode but we gotta wait another week

zILovePelmeni _

broo the storyboards were ass this episode but the ghosting made the fight even worse. next episode is about to be ghosted for the whole gojo fight 😭

Vongola Fiamme

cue people crying about the dimming and ghosting, lord forbid Japan tries to spare people a trip to the hospital.

Dillon
>>117537809

The solution is they don’t post the tv broadcasted version to crunchyroll, dumbass

Ashe
>>117537650

man shut up u tiktok mfs are so annoying. U dont even know what story boards mean. And you just found out about dimming and ghosting just stfu. Your not smart

marii

from a manga reader bro i’m so hyped for every episode😭😭

Mima

oh next episode is gonna be a trip

Lucky_Icarus
>>117537538

Hey now, this particular sister complex was groomed into him, so it's not his fault.

Mima
>>117539270

been biting my nails since this season started over it i just hope the visuals dont disappoint but im sure we good

Erica Collins

I really hope itadori gets revenge for my guy Junpei. I'm hype for that fight. Mahito needs to go

Edd R

🗣️ GATE : OPEN

Ashe
>>117537650

nice google search. Stay off of tiktok its ruining your perception of what real hard work and talent is. Ungrateful ass mfs

Kingmakaii

I’m glad we all on the same page I thought the same shit when I read this in the manga bro you think I give af about these people you finna use them as a shield bro I’ll unlimited void everybody in this fucking tunnel if I have to to kill you 🤷🏽‍♂️😭

zILovePelmeni _
>>117537650

bro why are you obsessed with tiktok??? I first noticed dimming and ghosting when opm s2 aired 💀 you were most likely not even born at that time so stfu

zILovePelmeni _
>>117537650

why do you think im disrespectful to the staff? ghosting is ruining the hard work of the staff you idiot you dont even know what ghosting is you fraud

Maxwinter
>>117537809

It very fair to complaint it usage was very unnecessary and even tho the story board was lacking it completely butchered an other wise decent cut that an ka spent time on. The best solution is definitely at-least giving viewers an options on streaming services and not just only releasing the tv bro casted version. And with how poorly it was done it made the scene more flashy that it needed to be arguable making the potential complications worse

Louis Kalman
>>117537650

The storyboard and direction seemed fine to me, and what did the ghosting even affect? Itadori and the grasshopper's punches were more blurry? Who cares?

zILovePelmeni _
>>117537650

action storyboards were terrible i mean. especially yuji vs grasshopper curse. and trust me you will care if the hype fightd are unwatchable

Kevin Kovacs

Next week is gonna be the whole Gojo fight? Let's go! I do feel like Gojo is most likely is gonna get sealed like the opening pretty much spoiled it so.. lol

danial javady
>>117537650

"The AnIMaTiON is So BaD" - clown who pirated the show, not even realizing he's part of the problem the animation could be better. (But in this case, you're completely wrong and you should be more than happy with what you've seen. They're prioritizing bigger fights.)

Devin B

Lol if people are going to die regardless Gojo might as well use it to his advantage

Argo2Unitard

Ok, but like why send in Gojo in the first place if he's just going to nuke everyone? That would make 0 sense.

Sparky
>>117537650

Tbf he ain’t wrong in the manga this fight was insane but the ghosting really did ruin the fight lol but it is what is

Hamshank

Next week on Jump Kaisen...

Hello

Yeah this plan by geto is really big brain cause not only can he not use his techniques but his overall physical stats are reduced cause he'd just end up crashing into people and killing them. Gojo on physical stats and ce enhancement alone legit blitzes them otherwise. It's such a simple yet big brain play lol.

Jacob The weird

Nahhhh Roshi with the Gojo tattoo is crazy. That’s all imma say

danial javady

Gojo doesn't even like to kill ants. Last season there was an episode where you literally see him activating his infinity when he was walking on a specific spot. He used it just to protect a bunch of ants he didn't want to kill. If he can help it, he will protect them. It's in his nature. If you push him past the limit, he'll do what's needed.

JJ

Gojo being arrogant is always his downfall he never learns

DsWorldd •
>>117542370

Who else would they be able to send that could fight 2-3 disaster curses, a death womb painting, stupid amounts of transfigured humans and "geto" all at once? Yuta in Africa and yuki in America or sum so he's the best and only option

DsWorldd •
>>117541465

Well junpei was shown alive in the s1 opening but we know how that went, don't base your opinions on what you see in the OP

Argo2Unitard
>>117542370

No one. Because it's obviously a trap set up for Gojo. If he's just going to kill everyone there anyway, there's no reason not to just let the curses do what they want.

DsWorldd •

"3 years of his youth"😶‍🌫️

Dequone Jackson

Sheera sees bug curse - New fetish unlocked lmao

DsWorldd •

They literally banned gojos entire kit with this plan. Cant even teleport short distance since he'll instakill any human nearby with just that. Purple and domain aren't even an option morally lmao All he can do if defend himself, try defend humans and basically just try grab and strangle the curses to death just using h2h combat. They really got this man doing a trolley moral dilemma test rn😭🤣

Kevin Kovacs
>>117541465

Sure but it make sense since how else the plot could be much more exciting if he doesn't.

Crazy Mexican

Why my boy Choso looking like that they did him so dirty.

Lemonkatze

im cool with the animation i just, miss last seasons fr

dawn

alright!! somebody tell mappa to delete next weeks footage we can stop here!! 😃

Jacob H

Gojo: Niggas think I’m fightin to save the day, when really I just like to fight I don’t care about none of that shit😭 (Also if cussing isn’t allowed let me know)

Shin splits
>>117537650

Calling the grasshopper fight insane is overkill it was a decent fight in the manga nothing special imo. All I care about is the main fights coming up

Danny
>>117542260

its not that. The curses job is to hold him off lol. I dont think theyre expected to beat him. At least thats what Geto meant by give him 20 min. They wont kill all the hostages nor will they force Gojo to the point where he will use all his powers. Gojo at this point prob thinking how to kill them without resorting to full power and harming those around him. Even tho they can bypass his infinity, hes not worried cuz he still got the upper hand.

JadonTheEternal

I was so ready for the Gojo fight this week and then they moved Grasshopper to happen first. How am i supposed to make it another 7 days before the fight?!?!

Devin B
>>117542260

@Danny they're definitely there just to hold him off until Geto pulls off whatever he needs to do but from Gojo's perspective he doesn't know what they're fully doing so for all he knows he might think they'll use the hostages to prevent him from using his full power, try to beat him, and then kill the hostages after. I was joking with my first comment but I was basically saying if they're going to die anyways Gojo might as well use his full power to prevent less casualties if he was to get beaten somehow.

JadonTheEternal
>>117537650

I think you are overplaying it a bit tbh. I do agree this fight wasn't great, probably one of my lowest in JJK anime so far, but it was also the least important fight in the arc (and the animators had mentioned how the Grasshopper was very challenging to animate) so of course it got kinda skimped on. But I do think that fight will be the low of the season, I am pretty confident that the major fights like next week will be just as good as we expect

JadonTheEternal
>>117537625

I know! I was so sad that they moved Grasshopper to be first because I was so hyped for this episode, guess I gotta wait another week 😭😭

Scott Brown
>>117542838

We know that Gojo uses Blue on his punches to increase the impact tremendously, so we actually know very little about what Gojo is like with pure CE enhancement (aside from SOME of what's about to happen).

KeYo

I saw that grasshopper and immediately saw a Kamen rider villain or stingmon from digimon lol

Panda
>>117544536

Not entirely true, they did do a number on his cursed technique for sure. But gojo legit has some of the best hands alone in the series, in first to first hes just as dominate.

LelaniG

Not gonna lie I'd just be like "aye casualties of war" and the people gotta go, sorry pray for yall later

Carlos

I'm glad we got the locust fight out of the way, it was the least interesting one in the arc. Next few weeks are gonna be nuts if Mappa doesn't cut any corners.

szeth
>>117537445

I mean I agree tho. Ofc wait until you have to but if it gets to a problem I'm using infinite void over letting them run rampant while I'm in prison and out of the picture. The latter will lead to way more deaths

S

7:12 ???

Kurumi

lmao Geto basically said hold out until the end of the next ep and imma hit everybody with a wild cliffhanger

Kevin

And then Gojo took off his blind fold and told them it’s Gojover. Can’t wait to see him say that line from the manga

Ougi

The hands grasshopper

Terry King Jr
>>117546299

Nah they made the right decision, get it out of the way so the best parts have time to shine with no interruption.

von

Ahhhh here comes peak

FreshxEli Tv

Sheera is not wrong 😭😭💀 gojo will literally kill every human in there 😂 JUJUTSU SORCERERS ARE bat shit crazy every last one of them 😂

Ashe
>>117546299

How is it not? Imagine going from the gojo fight to this. Please dont talk

Ashe
>>117537650

Wtf u talking about, “insane” the fight was like 5 panels.

『Ryu』

These episodes are going by way too fast bro, JJK is too good.

V STAN

I can't wait for the next episode

n momo

0:47 Please Lupa stop being so funny, I woke up everyone at my house. And maybe the neighbors too 🤣🤣

mal

lupa: “you sweating?” well he is right next to a raging flame😂

Cubjitsu

I was looking forward to seeing them animate what Choso's ability did but they didn't 😭 In the manga he slices off the top half of people's heads. Fucking wild 😅

Jazko
>>117556243

he is a curse, that sweat is purely there because he is aware of the skill difference

mal
>>117556243

i mean that could be the case but do curses just not feel heat?

Earphone Jack

I love how Yuji wants all the smoke when it comes to Mahito. I’m excited for the next episode. Gojo’s about to be on demon time.

Hello
>>117542838

True. I never thought of that but he legit just does that automatically doesn't he?

Stagger Lee

Yall think yall know, but yall really dont. Gojo is HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM

Thomas Wynn III

I’m convinced Lupa just doesn’t read the subtitles

Julian_lol

I'm honestly glad they got the grasshopper fight out of the way it's easily the weakest fight in the arc and maybe even the series but I can't lie I woke up hype to see some Gojo action just to get trolled by Mappa (in the manga they were switching between Gojo's fight and the grasshopper fight but they decided to completely adapt the grasshopper fight and leave Gojo's fight for next episode) but next episode is going to be nothing but gas y'all about to see a side of Gojo y'all have not seen before

Earphone Jack
>>117537809

Exactly. It literally wasn’t that serious and didn’t look bad at all. People are complaining just to complain.

zILovePelmeni _
>>117537650

so that dumbasses like you waste their time commenting lol i just took seconds of your life. how do you feel knowing this ?

botanbutton
>>117537809

You mean...people complain about the dimming they do so people don't have a seizure????

botanbutton

Nah, if I'm one of them regular people stuck in the subway and the person that is supposed to save me kills me, I'm haunting them until they die. Like, damn, at least try to save some of us, act like you cared a lil bit. 😭😂

Randy Petitmaitre

Mei Mei is using chatgpt to make her plans cause no way she did all that with just a couple of clicks on her phone

ok

The ghosting and shadowing is killing me lowkey but still peak episode no doubt

TONYHWK2021

Yall saying you like the animation but we havent even seen the actual fights that take up all the budget

Guav

The people complainging about this fight not looking good or having boring animation must be retarded, especially the mf one piece fanbase making fun of a 5 panel fight

Ross
>>117537650

"so stfu" "💀" "lol" Your mother was definitely a heavy drinker before you were born

ForeignKarma

People really limit themselves on anime when animation style isn’t in their interest. JuJutsu Kaisen is peak , one of the best new gen we should appreciate the anime while it’s out not criticize.

Tyler
>>117568342

I'm a fan of the show but nothing is above criticism if someone feels that way.

Deathbound300
>>117568342

Not dickriding bro, we're just saying that people are missing out on a pretty good show, even if the art style isn't their interest. Not to mention it legitimately has one of the best power systems in history.

Deathbound300
>>117566260

Nah they're actually right. The dimming reappeared in this episode and most likely will apply for the rest of the season. I know we have epileptics in this world but many of us are saddened we have to wait even longer to see Mappa's true potential again.

Joel Lopez

Why did the show had to waste our time with a filler fight. I want to jump straight into it.

The Seven Deadly Sins
>>117568342

I agree. I love JJK, both the anime and manga. The series is high on my list. But, nothing is perfect and criticism can be useful depending on the kind of criticism.

Taylor

the start of this had me in tears. yall are so much fun man.

ThatOneGuy

FR tho I would tell jogo you realize if I lose they all die but I can’t win if I’m protecting them so guess they’ll all die anyways lmao

Maxwinter
>>117545583

This season has generally been a way better production wis. Especially in the compositing department (outside the ghosting and dimming), and has just as good animation. For example Mechamaru vs. Mahito was an atleast top 2 if the best-produced fight to come out of this series . Dimming and ghosting resulting from the time slot change really hold’s it back. Even under the same direction as Season 1, MAPPA would likely still have to deal with these issues, probably even worse due to how flashy and refined the original art style was . But generally, Season 1 had way worse issues that weren’t due to tv regulations . Especially in the compositing department with completely ruining layouts, terrible backgrounds, poor digital effects, etc all resulting form the poor scheduling of s1. Gosso’s direction has also been a gift this season. Sunghoo Park’s action direction will always be missed, but this season will undoubtedly be better produced overall.

Damarcus Miller

Animation kinda ass I’m not gone lie, why are they making this shit unseeable 😂😂😂

Damarcus Miller

FINALLY! Somebody posted in the comments that Lupa don’t read the subtitles 😂 it’s not only for this show either this man just be ready to make a joke & don’t care to understand anything fr

Damarcus Miller
>>117559884

He doesn’t lmao it’s other shows he barely read the subtitles & look away from the screen for 2 mins laughing and wonder why he b confused most of the time

TinyRat
>>117560220

Not only that, they put in the wrong move when choso did slicing exorcism, those were 2 completely different panels in the manga. And the grasshopper part was funnier in manga cuz he's not saying clever, he's saying smart. Other than that tho the episode was still good.

Damarcus Miller
>>117617188

First season animation was 10x better & that’s just the truth.. I wish they go back 😭like it isn’t bad but sometimes I’m left wondering what the fck is going on

Neo C Serrato
>>117617188

ass? this animation was better than most of these episodes this season. unseeable is crazy. at this point you justing hating and ill let you do your hating in peace 🤣

Hi How are ya
>>117617188

The only difference between the 2 seasons is art. The fact you don’t know the different between art and animation shows that you just blindly hate on shit like a lobotomy victim

Damarcus Miller
>>117617188

Lmao when somebody criticize something it’s considered hate..some of you JJK fans are brain dead if you can’t see the difference 😂😂 nobody hating

Damarcus Miller
>>117617188

@Hi well this season “Art” is terrible.. it’s a good 5/10 if we being honest & not dickriding it because we like the anime 😭 just be honest with yourself

Ougi
>>117617188

Bro u personally aren't a fan of the art style, its ur opinion and its completely subjective. Acting like everyone that don't share the same opinions as u is wrong. Search up 'subjective ' in the dictionary bro. And if ur having a hard time figuring out whats happening on screen, get ur vision checked cus no one else seems to have that problem 😂😂

Guav
>>117566260

nah, people act like they cant see shit but my blind ass who cant see 6 inches in front of me without it looking blurry could tell what was happening without my glasses, it wasnt until animators posting what they worked on without the blurring and dimming where even jjk "fans" were like OmG lOoK i CaN sEe" and finally stfu about the animation.

Zander Infinity
>>117617188

I think legally they have to put in ghosting because of seizures. So yeah expect it a lot more but tbf it looks like that in the manga also.

Emman Reed

I really really liked this episode and it felt like there were some crazy easter eggs and homages to other shows and things in here. The art style to me is really nice and closer to the original style of the manga. Also I think mappa might be testing some techniques and animation possibilities for the upcoming "One Punch Man Season 3" that they are also doing. Overall it was a great episode and a really nice reaction :))

hokeypokey

Personally didn't find the grasshopper fight that hype, I feel like we've seen the punch barrage fight in just about every fighting anime out there. Not saying that it wasn't well animated but I deffs didn't feel like they were snappin considering how well we know the fights are choreographed in all the previous eps.

Seraph_Dalgon_

Ngl, that grasshopper fight kinda mid and the ghosting on the punches made it nigh-unwatchable for me. Glad you lot enjoyed it tho.

Daryl Hudson

Tf was that shop about?🤣 who was roshi telling to move

Bona Fide

This was so hunter x Hunter inspired and obviously naruto but that fight was almost the exact replica of a chimera ant arc fight with gon, killua and Kite lol I liked it though

lyssa
>>117670083

I mean it wasn’t supposed to be a crazy fight obviously it’s the first of many it seems like the grasshopper was just a grunt

Dylan Culbertson
>>117617188

It's law to add ghosting to these scenes because of a pokemon episode with porygon that got released caused alot of seizures to kids. And if u watch blu ray versions u wont see the ghosting

Damarcus Miller

Did anyone catch when the Waldo dude said it was two people talking .. Gojo & Choso, just caught that because they can’t see the curse spirits but can see Choso. He is half human/curse so that was a good detail to add

Nicole Guerrero

That grasshopper got the beating of its life 💀💀

Christian

lupo is so lost half of the time its hilarious

Ren
>>117670083

It was just to show that Yuji has improved and a grade 1 cursed spirit is pretty much nothing for him now

CleoKujo

Roshi says Gojo don’t let me down but after the jjk spoilers mannn

SoggySoup

It’s weird the animation was really good but the action direction was super funky. A lot of weird cuts and funky pose changes.

Alexx_0301

So we not gonna talk about why roshi got upset at 7:10?

Spadez

If anyone is wondering what that FLASH of green is @8:40 that is just the a flash of the them reacting with the greenscreen.

The Zany Spirit

"You should have listened to your wife! AH-HAHAHAHAHA!" *Runs away like Skeletor.* Also, "It'd almost be sexy if you changed the face." is wild. xD
