dzuudo

btw Roshi, Sheera - u guys are looking real good! lost weight and the glow up is amazing! big W

Nicole Guerrero

RIP nanami, he was a real one 😓😪 but mahito is so goofy and annoying, bro really tried to kiss yuuji in the middle of the fight and made a puppet out of junpei, so out of pocket 😭😭😭

kingBD
>>123171821

Lmao why do i feel like i keep seeing this comment? Are old fans coming back or something?

Nick

Those two guys in the subway were really just there I'm pretty sure. He didn't revert two people, and Nanami was talking to Mahito, not Itadori at first.

Ryan Ryan

In case y’all didn’t get it bcs you assumed he killed Nobara. The fight with Nobara and the fight with Yuji are both happening at the same time that’s why they showed us he split up earlier. So at this point in time Nobara and Yuji are both still alive and both fighting 2 versions of Mahito. I think y’all assumed the Nobara fight was a flashback but it isn’t.

Cubjitsu

Roshi got all hype at the end of the last episode for no reason 😂

Husky

the walk transition Nanami did reminded me of the black guy from cyberpunk edgerunners when he went cyber psycho

Panda
>>123171541

So like, is this a cry for help. Do you need some glasses ma man, someone get this dude to an eye doctor.

Damarcus Miller

13:18-13:40 they LOVE this show so much they don’t remember Junpei from season 1😂😂 Roshi “yeah a puppet” LMFAOO I never expect them to remember characters from previous seasons.. he was doing that to fw yuji feelings cause mahito don’t care about shit (fyi I suggest you guys start watching recaps not only for this show but this happens in other ones as well)

Rin Okumura

Nanami is a very lovable character. His final moment was very heroic and emotional so yeah... He earned that heroic death.

Nita - Kento's Widow

Ah yes, I can finally update my username. When I looked to the corresponding chapter(s) to this I saw that they adding the scenes of him dancing on the beach. So props to the animators to not only making the fight look great but adding to the episode. Speaking of, next one gonna be crazy. This mess is really lined up for me right before finals...

V STAN

Damn...Nanami's scene blew me away

Damarcus Miller
>>123171541

Don’t have to like my opinion. This season is “Okay” for me.. what’s wrong with me liking season 1 better???? The fuck is wrong with yall 😂 I was trolling with mid Kaisen though so relax

Thunter

Nanami’s death was really… Blown out of proportion!

Renni .

Yuji Kaisen got me rolling

ElswSwine68031

He didn’t kill her theyre showing you what’s happening at the same time. One Mahito is fighting Yuji while the other Mahito is fighting Nobara. Just clearing that up

Sergio

no, nanamin was actually talking to mahito. cuz in the manga mahito was actually in front of him instead of behind so that’s why he says “you’re here” and then mahito says “i was here the whole time” (talking about when he was in the photo booth). the storyboard for this episode was pretty bad, but then again we know they’re slaving these animators so we’ll just have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Fernando Perez
>>123172429

Fr my man Nanami was half a torso and fried like a taquito and Roshi was on some “Let’s go!” shit like bro, we ain’t going anywhere lmao.

dzuudo
>>123171821

nah I've noticed that for some time but today I felt like I have to write it down here

Leaky Peach

Roshi with the copium, lol. "Nah. He's still alive" as his torso ceases to exist, and his legs lie on the ground. 😂

Kingmakaii

Nigga mahito sick nigga just be doing shit for fun I hate this nigga but like like him at the same time not ready for what’s animated on Thursday 😭

Uly A O

The true essence of pain begins here. The extra scenes they created for this episode were pure art.

Isaac

Jesus Christ, the way the episode was paced really did have me shocked it ended so soon, but then realize it's been 25 friggin' minutes. lmao. Ngl, didn't really like this episode much compared to the previous few episodes but I still like that they're showing the gravity of the situation with these bad guys actually murdering people and characters. Mahito really fucked up for making a puppet Junpei like that. Junpei and his mom being murdered the way they did still hurts my heart to this day. RIP Nanamin. Finally retired.

Seanthebomb

not the pants on the floor 💀

DevilMayCarter

I am very sad. Nanami, you truly are special. Glorious day whenever Mahito gets boxed up.

Red Death

Ngl this animation isn't as good as I thought it would for this fight considering it's the most important fight of the arc. I'm hoping they're saving the actual good animation for the rest of it but the way Mappa be overworking these animators has me doubt that.

JohnnySmoke

Let the sky fall When it crumbles...

Nickcolas Robinson

Roshi knew the flags were placed so he sabotaged the remote lmaoo

YungZeus
>>123172429

Bro said they gassed him up in the end of last episode when his ass was literally half dead and exhausted looking in the last episode lmao.

twinuzis

wtf are the kyoto students doing bro😭😭

the puppet head was itadori friends that died in Season 1

Ashe
>>123171541

My opinion is that your mom gotta stop using teeth while she givin me some top

Ashe
>>123173863

Tf this is NOT the most important fight of the arc lmao. Your talking about todo and yuji against mahito which is weeks later. This is just a little ass squabble. Relax

YungZeus

Damn, the random animation cuts. They’re tired.

Miekala Jones

Nanami will forever be one of the best anime characters in my opinion. He may seem cold on the outside but he really does care for others. If he didn't why would he keep coming back to help the jujutsu sorcerers? He really did so much in his lifetime. He deserves to be able to finally retire. Rest in peace to a king

Beast Boy

It was mahito, he was talking to. He felt his hand on his back and that's when he said that, then mahito responded saying he was always there.

Fano

How y'all not cry at Nanamin's death.

Daniel Lee
>>123171821

I think a lot of people have been rewatching/catching byup on some of their older videos - like I rewatched their AoT reactions in the run up to the finale and it’s super noticeable how much weight they’ve lost! And I watched those reactions live when they came out years ago, but it’s not as noticeable when you follow daily/weekly.

Red Death
>>123173863

Bro what? Yuji vs Mahito in it's entirety is the most important fight in this arc. The involvement Nobara and Todo is a crucial to Yuji's development but the main element is Mahito himself.

Sasha

I'm actually gonna be mad if Maki or grandpa is still alive. Because no way they just kill one of the top three characters and Maki having a plot armor.

Lemonaded
>>123174134

Kyoto is pretty far away from Shibuya lol, the whole incident only lasted like maybe 4-5 hours

Tearonex

The voice acting this episode was top notch, especially with Yuji and Mahito screaming at each other, Mahito’s response to Yuji is so shit eating, I love it

Maxwinter
>>123173271

Saying that the storyboard for this episode was bad is crazy to me. While it was admittedly Gosso's weakest this season, it's still Gosso, and he showed insane levels of creativity in this episode. For instance, the scene where the wall closes in wasn't part of the manga. Most ep directors wouldn't even think of that. I'd argue the storyboard was the strongest part of this episode.

Arturo

Mahito foul for turning his hand into Junpei 😢

Angelo

When That man lupa at the end said he is just pants i was so weak jesus nah that's crazy. Also yeah gege really be writing people of he said yeah you done and you done.

Maxine

it's so perfectly cruel how, after sukuna killed so many innocents after taking over, yuji is now against mahito who uses (former) people to attack - and right after killing nanami right in front of him 😭. It just temporarily undoes his resignation to killing transfigured people in a traumatic way that makes sense

Devin B

One thing you gotta give JJK credit for os that they find unique situations for people to fight in, Itadori and Mahito fighting that close to the wall with so little space is crazy.

Sergio
>>123173271

when i say it’s bad, i just mean it felt very choppy and undigestible for the viewer. also i know gosso is a beast, i mean he was involved with my favorite ep this season (16). so when i say it’s bad (should’ve picked a better word) i mean it’s just not as good as what we’ve had this season. which is why i don’t care if it’s bad since the rest of the episodes this season have barely even been worked on at all (maybe not even started).

Kevin Kovacs
>>123172422

yeah but they gonna found out that there is 2 Mahito and the fight is happening in the same time.

V STAN
>>123172880

Yeah when that happened it made my emotions explode...just like Nanami

Sergio
>>123173863

you must’ve missed the news then buddy💀 cuz you better keep those expectations low asf

JadonTheEternal

Nobara isn't dead, that is happening at the same time as the Yuji fight, I think it's just that he expects he will be able to kill her. Also, I like to think that when Nanami said "You're here" it was meant in a way that it was to all 3 of Yuji, Mahito, and Haibara, because they all "arrived" at that moment.

Merfhew
>>123174693

Honestly, I wanted to feel something, because I've really enjoyed Nanami, but this episode was never even close to hitting me in the feels. I kinda felt let down. Maybe the scene hits harder in the manga? The author is definitely capable of making me cry (RIP Junpei), but he failed to do so this time.

Merfhew
>>123174916

EDIT -- I somehow mixed up Ichiji and Maki. Sorry for the confusion. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought we already found out that Maki was healed by Gojo's female classmate (I can never remember her name, but she smokes a lot and tried to dissect Itadori in the first season). I think we heard that an episode or two ago. I'm not sure if we heard anything about the old guy.

Luffy_77

Roshi this just showing you how easy sorcerers have it when Gojo's around, without him everyone getting packed

Tay

the voice acting this episode was amazing rip nanami

Barry
>>123174693

It didn't really hit emotionally for me. It ended up just being annoying how drawn out it was. It just felt kinda cheap to bring him back for no adequately explained reason to die for real. Either that or Frieren raised the bar so high I'm being too harsh.

Franklin Saint

I don’t see no issue with this episode I thought the animation and music was pretty good and the movements was ok the only criticism I have for this episode is the manji kick that yuji did to mahito because their was supposed to be narration for that kick and a explanation for how he did that the same for mahito's body repel but besides that everything else was really good what I really enjoyed about this was a lot of the anime only stuff adds more to the fight but I believe there’s gonna be really good animation later on in the fight the best parts will come soon (guys if you know what I’m talking about don’t spoil anything) this is one of best fights in the series in my opinion.

Muricon

Nanami dying really messed me up. All the man did was protect his students and friends. Even as he is actively dying and fading between worlds he is still determined to save everyone. And even as he is about to die by Mahito he gave Yuji the final words he needed to keep him from breaking completely. Man who is cutting onions up in this bihh.

Burning Talons
>>123176533

the animation wasn't good. You can see how when they were walking they were just like copy paste bouncing with a moving background. Its ok to criticize the animation because even the animators agree its not on par

Psi47

@Roshi No no, Nanami WAS talking to Mahito, hence why Mahito responded to him AS Yuji was pulling up. Nanami was literally hallucinating the entire time, he's half dead so of course he wasn't able to sense Mahito and walked right past him. Also, Mappa animated that scene differently than the manga. Yuji only shows up AFTER Nanami starts talking to Haibara and Haibara was the one who pointed to Yuji so Nanami would notice him. The quote "I can't say that to him. It'll just end up becoming a Curse for him" was supposed to be immediately after Nanami noticed Yuji because Haibara "said" something to Nanami that we don't see and instead of saying that Nanami just leaves with "You got it from here." Also no, Nobara is not dead, check the time stamps they give during the episode transitions, her battle with Mahito is occurring at the same exact time Yuji's fight is. In addition, Nobara saying to herself "Recall the Cursed Energy you felt back then" was when she did Black Flash against Choso's brothers. Keep in mind, the difference in Cursed Energy between someone who has done Black Flash and someone who hasn't is supposed to be the same as comparing "Heaven and Earth" according to Todo. Her fight with Haruta is not an indication of how well she'd do against someone else with completely different technique.

Barry
>>123174916

Its already ridiculous that Nanami survived, massively weakened and surviving a point blast blow from Jogo? It feels like Jogo's power was meant to be much lower than it seems during the Sukuna fight.

MonarchXIII
>>123174916

Maki has the same heavenly restriction as Toji. It makes logical sense for her body to take less damage

A.D.Z
>>123174682

Yet their interpretation of nanami talking to yuji and not aknowledging mahito has more sense, it gives more feelings to this scene if you see it this way too

CleoKujo

That was the most beautiful death I’ve seen

Franklin Saint
>>123176533

I don’t mind if you didn’t like the animation but in my opinion I actually thought the animation was really good but that’s just me I don’t think it was on par with the previous episodes but i thought it was good

Kreative

Nobora isn't dead from what I can tell. it looks like they're both fighting different Mahitos at the same time (From him splitting in 2)

Darion Wilson

They gone be really pissed thursday hahaaa

XxYourWaifuxX Xx

You guys don’t remember Junpei? Lol we all wanted him to be recruited

JayzWrld

It's so crazy because gege in a interview 1 year ago said nanami was only supposed to lose an arm in shibuya but he changed his mind

Merfhew
>>123178051

Interesting. Maybe that's why the death didn't hit as hard for everyone? Junpei's death had me bawling, but Nanami's death didn't do anything to me. I really liked both characters, so I'm not sure why the impact would be different. If anything, I'd think losing the guy we've known longest should have hit harder, but instead, losing the guy we knew for only 3 or 4 episodes felt more emotional (at least for me).

WaterYaDune

“I don’t think he’s dead” he says as his severed lower body hits the ground. I can only dream of having Roshi’s optimism.

Burning Talons
>>123174682

but manga wise he was talking to Mahito because Mahito was in front of him not behind him.

Burning Talons
>>123174693

hits way harder in the manga because they don't have a 5 min prologue to his death he just gets splatted in a couple panels way more unexpected

Merfhew

Honestly, this episode felt (to me) like a successful patissier's failed attempt at baking a delicious cake from scratch. All of the ingredients were assembled, and the recipe has great reviews, so it SHOULD have hit hard. Unfortunately, something just felt off with Nanami's death. I loved Nanami, but I felt nothing when he died. We've been told that sorcerers always die with regrets, and I think they mostly nailed that part. The voice acting was great (we're gonna miss you, Kenjiro Tsuda). The visuals weren't perfect, but considering how MAPPA puts its workers through hell, I think the animators did a decent job. Maybe the issue is that I'm starting to feel underwhelmed and fatigued by this arc as a whole? That's the only thing I can think of right now. I wonder if this part hits harder in the manga.

A. P.

The piano nigga at Mappa definitely need a raise, they be goin in on JJK and Vinland Saga! Bout to have me in tears while eating my spaghetti. This whole shit was beautiful though... RIP Nanami 🙏🏾

poisonivybag
>>123174916

Nope we've not heard that. If you're referring to last episode, they confirmed that Ijichi and Ino had been saved by Shoko but at this point there has been no confirmation of what happened to Maki and Naobito.

HIM

YaboyYoshi needs to be a thing lol

Merfhew
>>123174916

@Sasha -- Well, I've never read the manga. @poisonivybag -- Ah, yup, I think you're right. Looks like I've been mixing people up. Thank you for clearing up my misunderstanding! And thank you for reminding me that her name is Shoko.

Levi’s Tea Cup (Lexii)

Damn well we know Nobara ain’t the one the kill Mahito it has to be Yuji

joao quintal
>>123176533

i just think anime fans nowadays are spoiled, we get to watch it for free on ilegal streaming sites meanwhile i was watching naruto one piece and dbz on the tv at a specified schedule since 2005, if everyone who watched anime actually paid for it maybe they would have more money for the animators to lmao, i bet most people that complain about animation use ilegal sites xD Im not excusing the poor work conditions of the mappa employes but still people just complain way to much

Merfhew
>>123174693

@Burning Talons -- Good to know. Maybe I'll need to read it in the manga then. Do you happen to know which chapter shows his death? As I don't wanna risk reading ahead, I'm hesitant to guess.

Kenjiro Tsuda has such a great, distinctive voice. He will be missed.

Frederick

What is Mahito on bro WTF?

kingBD
>>123178196

Lol with a name like that im almost certain u didnt have to even respond to them

Franklin Saint

I think people are forgetting that yuji is well prepared to kill transfigured humans look back at the mahito arc and the beginning of the shibuya arc when yuji first arrives inside the curtain in shibuya he was killing transfigured humans the only reason he hesitated killing that transfigured human was because he’s still traumatized from Sukuna committing genocide in shibuya and nanami death and also that transfigured human said (save me) I’m pretty sure that reminded yuji about his grandfather dying words (yuji your a strong kid so help others) basically, his mental health is not the best place to fight it’s basically taking a toll on him.

Joseph Glover

People forget that yuji is a perfect counter to mahito because he can actually damage his soul. mahito said in the episode that if yuji kept hitting him he would die hence to why he want break yuji mentally so he can kill him. Also nobara is fighting the other mahito the same time yuji fighting the other mahito

_ jiseee

Something I find painful is the parallels between how Haibara and Nanami died. In Ep 5, Haibara’s lower extremities were missing, while Nanami's whole torso.

dawn

going through all this death in one day is actually nuts, i will also add that im not really a fan of the animators adding in so much stuff/changing things around that wasn't in the manga to these fights idk to me it just feels like they're dragging it out for too long

Luhbabytay
>>123180191

I mean it just half of him so she can still kill that one but not the main one mc fighting

sotonye ogan

Sukuna vs mahoraga episode might be the last banger cuz The animation this ep was melting badly, it ain't looking good for the future ones fam

Art of Trolling
>>123180191

You right I forgot about that. Hopefully they don’t use her to trigger a rage moment for Yuji.

Moisty Justice

I thought the animation was pretty decent. If you didn’t like it fine but the criticisms seem like reaches and something most people aren’t in the look out for anyway. Plus I know damn well people wouldn’t be looking into it as much if the news about the work environment wasn’t out there

Aaron Mitchell

All I will say is don’t forget about the boy Yuta in the future. But W reaction as always!!!

Charis Smith

Mahito is learning crazy fast. He is gonna be a problem if/when he survives Yuji.

General Grevious

There’s only more sadness coming from here on out😭

James Bryant
>>123181921

everything doesn’t have to be a spectacle. why would they treat this episode the same as a mf who can cast meteors or a shikigami that grows the size of a mini Godzilla everytime he adapts. Mahito is dangerous but out of all the villains we’ve dealt with, he’s close to if not the weakest. if you pay attention since the start of the series, they like to use different animation styles for different conflicts. nothing was wrong with this animation. don’t be spoiled entitled. be better. respect their creative vision. they’re making this arc way better than it ever could’ve been in the manga ❤️

James Bryant
>>123178631

no they made it more meaningful in this episode than the manga imo. they captured the send off Gege wanted for Nanami down to the t. while the arc isn’t completely over, you could say the aftermath of it is.

Julian_lol

"Soul Multiplicity" merges 2 or more souls regardless of gender or compatibility. This creates a reaction due to the souls rejecting the fusion. By using this effect and increasing the soul's energy Mahito uses the overwhelming output as an attack that he directs toward his opponents this attack is known as "Body Repel". The claustrophobic fight is anime only content I personally wasn't a fan I feel like it was hard to follow at times and the animation doesn't keep up with the idea I respect the creativity though.

KeYo

bruh this dude mahito is luffy and beetlejuice combined. what in the fuck lol

James Bryant
>>123178001

Mahito is definitely the most petty mf in JJK for that. mocking Yuji’s scream and then making a puppet out of Junpei. sick ass mf lol but at the same time I think he was using it to show that in their first encounter that he learned how easy Yuji could kill him.

Shockzz1234

11:15 lmao how was Sheera's transfigured human imitation so good?? Got something you wanna tell us? Lmao

Wild
>>123181921

u might be right but be respectful the animators are being treated like dogshit so im sure they wanted to take it easy w this episode be happy they are even still going

Julian_lol

Here's the exposition for Yuji's "Manji Kick" (15:00). While Mahito's fist pierces through the air... Itadori disappears from his sight. "Knee release" an ancient martial arts technique that eliminates starting movement. Itadori not only releases his knees, but his hips and shoulders too. Instead of falling down, this move guides him to Mahito's feet. From a lower position... he uses momentum to strike with... Taido Martial Arts... Manji Kick. The exposition is meant to start at 14:56. A bit of a shame they didn't include it in the anime

Earphone Jack

As a manga reader I knew what was going to happen and I still cried. Nanami… 😣😣😣 Also…FUCK MAHITO! 😤😤😤

Cerulean
>>123181921

nah he's right, the quality is blatantly less than the previous including the earlier episodes of the season

mahito in the photo booth getting freaky lmao

Man, I think this was my favorite episode. Loved to see it animated

JsnSkg

Kenjiro Tsuda put on a spectacular performance in Nanami's last moments. What a talented VA.

nami
>>123178001

idk sukuna equally as petty tbh. Yuji just gets perpetually clowned by villians in this show

nami
>>123176533

I don't think he's trying to sound spoiled, it's more objectivity. It's not an insult to the animators in any regard because they're beyond pressed for time. But a majority of them aren't satisfied with what they've been able to do because of the constraints around them and have still done amazing work. This ep was obviously a step down compared to the last few which was expected but it's definitely not bad. I can only speak for myself as a studying animator, but a lot of times people aren't speaking out of just being negative for the sake of it, but more just from a passion for the craft if that makes sense.

nami

>>123175176

It really makes you feel the gravity of the situation. They were never playing games in this world, and we get to finally see just how bad it is now that Gojo is no longer able to stop any of it. As of right now, the power is being shifted from the jujutsu sorcerers to the curses, and it's terrifying to see how one man stood in the way of that happening. Kinda let's everyone see just how much weight Gojo has been carrying around all on his own up until now. I don't think any of the sorcerers now understood the level of responsibility Gojo had until that responsibility was passed along to them. Not that it's their fault - no one could understand unless they were in that position. On another note, Nanami was a real one. He really gave everything to help others and made sure he didn't accidentally curse his friend before he died. He's a legend and he deserves a peaceful retirement from this god-forsaken, war-infested world.

YungZeus
>>123176533

@Joao everyone watches it for free, including people in Japan. The only people who aren’t, are people who wait for the Blu-ray releases. Stop being goofy

Miekala Jones
>>123174693

It hit me hard af. I'm a manga reader so I already knew hoe he was going out. And yeah the manga hit real hard cause they show he's alive just to kill him right after. Two or three panels and he's just...dead. And then I watched this episode, and they drew it out - with added scenes of him smiling and enjoying something for once in his life, at peace, just...living. No stress, no pain, no worry. THAT hit me harder than the manga did. You get to see what his paradise will be. You get to see that he can finally rest, be at peace. He gets to finally enjoy something he deserves after everything he's been through. I think his death was beautiful for lack of a better word, and I feel Mappa did him justice.

VanessassaryEvil

Nobara looks like she has smoke for Mahito with the way they animated the crazy in her face lol. I just don't feel like she's had that "fire under pressure" training that Yuji does and think she might get pieced up. These lite spoiling niggas already talking about it's gonna be a painful one so I guess it's up either way. I saw "something" in the intro a while back that clued me into something happening to her but I'm hopeful she'll only be injured and not killed. Also, I'm pretty sure she and Yuji are having simultaneous fights. Not a manga reader, so we'll see next week!

Rishad GB

Look at nobaras conversation she is saying recall the essence of cursed energy so she was meaning when she did the black flash

>>123173863

i mean the upcoming fight is one of the best fights in all of jjk so they should put all that focus right there. but yeah damn

Leo

Not ya'll forgetting the homie haibara he was hitting the my hero academia now it's your turn to nanamin. Mahito is a really confusing character for me on one hand I love him because I enjoy villains who are straight up evil and he's funny to boot the whole screaming at yuji then him singing to help his homie drink up. On the other hand I hate this man with a passion because he's screaming and singing and putting this man through hell I understand what he's saying though you are me to itadori because he hates mahito and mahito is the personification of hate or something like that. Either way whenever he gets got I'm gonna be the first one standing up and clapping because first it was my man junpei now nanami where is the Naruto/Naruto shippuden psyche out or revival when you need it. Junpei was a lost cause unfortunately but nanami could've survived if he made it back to ieriri fried or not he just would've been crispy. He was the goat of shibuya because things would've been a lot worse without him. Unlike with Junpei i knew this was coming but it still hurt like hell the animators and composer put that extra sauce on it and it was cooked to perfection though R.I.P. the 🐐. Sidenote these animators been cooking all season another great fight sequence I don't remember all that happening during their fight but it's been a while since reading it that scene with them inching closer to each other to swing was hilarious 😂.

I thought it was already established that the Jogo/Toji and Mahoraga episodes were outliers having more time to cook in the oven than the rest of the episodes. You can even look back on episodes before those 2 eps and find that some had pretty much this level of animation quality. It always has been varying/fluctuating and never been the same top-notch quality all throughout. It's all just managing which scenes need more attention.

Big Daddy Dre

Am i the only one who thinks mahito reminds me of orochimaru with his playful fighting style 😂

DIOR

this was probably the worst episode animation wise. it was genuinely so bad I barely wanted to watch this reaction. praying for the rest of the season we aint even get to the best fight yet. i just know some losers finna cry in my mentions but whatever

Candy

Franklin Saint
>>123195500

@DIOR Dawg it’s fine that you don’t like the show or animation or whatever but don’t be Spoiling manga spoilers for the anime only's in the comments section that shit ain’t cool

GigaDirt

Cry about it. Also animators working overtime just so you can make a shitty comment on their work which they put their time and effort on. Clown

Leo

At some point it has to stop this man Gege can't keep hurting me like this. If he was to show up at a con I'd kindly ask him to square up because he mirking all my favorite people got me listening to bone thugs n harmony naw he gotta run the fade one time.

Darren Banks
>>123196087

In her defense. Everything is about matchups and your ability to tailor the effectiveness of your CE and adaptability of your CT. That was a bad matchup for her considering the coincidental nature of his CT. But nobara is still a bad match up for Mahito considering the way her cursed technique works. The major plus for Mahito is his understanding of souls being quite tied to his adaptability of his CT.

Kyosuke Kagami

Any chance they redo the animation for the bluray? I really like that opening scene with Nanami and want to see it get the quality treatment.

RonyOnPat
>>123198792

thing is, its not even bad, its objectively good, its just hard to follow up 2 back to back episodes of the god tier stuff they did with Jogo, Sukuna, Toji and Mahoraga.

Charmaine

i don’t like the changes they made animating nanami’s death and the mahito fight….

Victor

I really hope that Nobara has some new moves, or Mahito is weaker because he split into two. Or else he gonna turn her into a flesh doll and gift her to Yuji 💀💀💀

poisonivybag

I don't feel like criticising the animation because the animators are not being given appropriate time to do all this, it's not their fault and not a measure of their skill.

A

next episode is gonna be crazy i still got ptsd from the manga :(

Grelk

okay? its still shit. regardless of whose fault it is

Charmaine

DIOR

people trying to be so grandstanding defending these random ass animators as if it changes that very simple reality. It looked like absolute fucking shit.

DIOR
>>123195500

im mad, i'm lame, kenjaku is yuji's dad/mom, choso gets killed by kenjaku, yuta kills kenjaku, megumi gets his ass fiddled with by sukuna blah blah, am I doing it right? am I sucking MAPPA and JJK's dick hard enough now for you, oh great fanboys who know everything about the series?

Paulothy
>>123195500

Says alot that you think you're being big and bad by spoiling a "cartoon" on the internet 💀 Don't get mad cause nobody respects you, you're a joke.

Paulothy

Might have to ban this DIOR clown off the patreon, his immediate response to being criticized is to spew either racism (snowfall comments) or spoil the entire series (farther down in this comment section, be careful)

Ougi
>>123195500

Yes you're lame bro, getting so salty cus u got backlash on a take that's just objectively wrong lmao. Spouting shit like "u think u gonna disrespect me" bro who are you? Ur an angry lil man so upset u got backlash that u wanna spoil mfs. Literally on some baby shit like ur a grown ass man ain't u? Cus u act like ur 14 getting heated over "disrespect" bro grow up tf, can't handle ppl disagreeing with you? Manchild

Izanagi15
>>123195500

@DIOR Dont even know why you used spoilers as a way to attack people. Like that aint cool. You just randomly did that shit out of no where.

Thiivi

Yeah, @DIOR needs be banned. Dude is having a mental breakdown in the comments

Mxzza
>>123176865

this episode seems to try and make it ambiguous whether he's talking to yuji, mahito or haibara tbh

Chimpman
>>123266364

He is livid with Mahito. The fuck you talking about. He's just making sure his anger doesn't affect his fighting.

Ryujin
>>123266364

Ik I’m saying I would have lost control unlike yuji who managed to keep a clear head

Chimpman
>>123203552

It's not a fact that the changes made were bad, bud. It's aesthetically different, that's all. There's no narrative difference or emotional difference.

Charmaine
>>123203552

you not adding anything to the convo. yall crying and throwing up to people not liking the animation/changes. constantly commenting on things you already see other comments on not changing anyone’s opinion

L Jeans
>>123266364

who says he has a clear head. Becoming a rage monster doesnt make you any more or less mad.

Jake McGrevey
>>123198792

Nah I've seen all of fairy tail and I don't remember once being like damn this is subpar compared to the usual stuff. This episode was just a letdown. Ive seen alot of anime and this was by far the hardest drop off I've ever seen

Ougi
>>123203552

The changes being bad is ur opinion, I could care less about that. "U not gonna beat my ass so now what" that's literally how teenagers act grow up lmao

Charmaine
>>123203552

exactly it’s MY opinion and i stated it. you’re the one who is in your feelings over my opinion which means you need to grow up. every one of you who keeps crying over people who have a different opinion are the immature ones bc no one who feels the same way as me is commenting on positive comments with negativity; I just stated my general opinion to the reactors im subscribed to. and the fact none of you can beat my ass is a fact so trying to argue with me is pointless 😭

Asterkampos
>>123195500

God, you the definition of a bitch. Crying all over the fucking place, get a fucking grip. "Wah wah wah. People are so wude to me, I won't be diswespected". Bitch, if you can't handle basic retorts then don't fucking speak. You open your retard self to a public comment section with hostility off the cuff and expect no response that'll ridicule your brainless, thoughtless idiocy? You ain't who you think you are you miserable, sad little man. Grow the fuck up.

Didier
>>123203552

I agree, this scene was more brutal and sudden in the manga. The anime staff tried to make it as emotional as possible for some reason. Either because they're aware that fans love this character or simply because there are standards of violence they can show on TV.

Didier
>>123190190

The reason why her face looked so crazy in that shot is because it's one of those rare instances where the animators faithfully adapted the original art-style of the manga. Characters' faces look different on both formats.

Fireheart310

Mahito is the worst enemy to fight ever he can one-shot you with his technique idle transfiguration unless have some form of soul protection, create an army of minions that he can shape and and control through his twisted imagination, split himself into self aware clones, and worst of all you can't even hurt him unless you can attack the soul which means you have to keep hitting him until he runs out of cursed energy and since he's special grade he has lots of. The only ones so far we have seen with that have enough firepower to keep whaling on Mahito are Jogo and Gojo (I'm counting people who can't hit the soul we have seen Sukuna attack the soul so not included). Mahito is too broken!!!!

DIOR
>>123195500

Gonna think twice bout disrespecting niggas next time over their own opinion I bet. Yall way too bitch made and perpetually online to get it though lol

Charmaine
>>123203552

yea I saw people on twitter say they felt more emotionally invested with the anime adaptation of his death. 😭 some even said they liked mahito’s face wasn’t the last thing nanami saw since he was behind him but idk the quickness of his death in the manga is what made me more emotional and I was looking forward to seeing how it look animated so when it changed I was thrown off.

Asterkampos
>>123195500

Take your own goddamn advice. Think before you fucking speak, cuz all you've done is make a fool of yourself.

Corey Leach

Mad respect to Nanami. Bro was literally one foot out the grave fighting death. That whole time he was fighting, Mahito sick ass was there eating popcorn lmao. I'm curious to see how Mahito battles against Sukuna if that ever happens.

kodai

I JUST KNEW YOUD SAY BUSSY PICS BRO GOD DAMMIT ROSHI

Shawn Oxley

I will die mad about Nanami getting cooked

Anathem

man, I thought it was pretty clear that Haibara was drawn weird on purpose to show that it was a vision lmao

Anathem

How tf can people genuinely sit here and call this animation bad

Ren Lichtfoot
>>148076327

It was bad in some places. If you call the Naruto vs Pein (Pain) fight badly animated then the same goes for some of the animation in JJK. It's just that Mappa did a lot of work in some scenes to distract from it and for that - they get DOMAIN EXPANSION: INFINITE FLOWERS

Lsg_Lani

Back again to experience absolute pain… I remember this ep dropped on thanksgiving smh terrible timing
