Okay I've never done this but we need to have this talk lmao. Some of yall claim Franklin does not care about Louie AT ALL, and Im curious as to how when the show is telling you otherwise lol. Snowfall is a show that respects your intelligence. We know Franklin is a very prideful person so what makes yall think he would admit to Louie he still cared about her at the funeral? Also Louie asked him that question to confirm what she already knew deep down which is also part of why she went through with helping him. Then we had the scene of Franklin hyping Louie up to hit him harder to help her take her frustrations out cause he feels partial to blame for Jerome. YES, they was gonna beat him up anyway but if there was no deeper meaning to that scene they woulda off screened it n went straight to the drop off. That whole thing was emotional! Nothing is black and white, these are humans with human emotions and THEY FAMILY!! Thats why this show is so good, there's LAYERS!

Of course he cares for her he wouldn't have come back if he didn't. Also keep in mind by coming back he in essence dissolved his partnership at a time when he was desperate for the money. Having said that, It wasn't Jerome and Louie's fault that Teddy stole his money so Franklyn was totally wrong for stealing from his family for it. and i dont buy that he did it bc they didn't agree to setup teddy. and What were they supposed to do agree to a lose-lose situation One of two things would've happened if they agreed. Either Teddy would've sussed out the trap and killed all of them (most likely) or they would've killed Teddy and have to go on the run bc the entire CIA would've been after them. so in effect Louie is not entirely wrong when she says he collapse it's his fault. In the end CECE is right they all have a part in it

Franklin definitely cares about Louie he’s given her too many chances not to, from leaving his side in the business to going behind his back to teddy to establish a deal & taking every territory Franklin established in LA to sell on. Franklin said it best “it’s just business when I’m gettin fucked but when you are it’s not fair” Franklin gave her enough rope to hang herself & caught her each time the consequences were about to get dire before and after the war between them started; Franklin has his faults e.g betraying the book store owners but he would never do that to his family, had Louie & Jerome stayed with Franklin in the business they’d be formidable enough to take on anybody, & when Franklin eventually left the game to raise his kid he’d have given the keys to the crack kingdom to Louie anyway…but she’s too greedy & impatient

Truth is Franklin only cares about Lou to the extent that she can be useful to him. She wasn't loyal and ruined everything, in his eyes. Right now he is about his money and his unborn child, nothing is coming before that and if he had to sell her out for a second time to get everything back he'd do it in a heartbeat, again.

The fact that Roshi has never done this before shows that he fucks with this show heavy lol. Anyway, I agree with what he said. People don’t know how to read between the lines, which is also related to Teddy’s racism. Just because someone isn’t shouting a slur overtly doesn’t mean it’s not there. Racism more often than not, is hella subtle.

Louie and Franklin are parallel to each other. They both have high ambition. Remember, it’s Louie that showed Franklin the way from the very beginning. They were too ambitious for each other. Franklin wanted to keep control, Louie wanted to have more control, and that just pushed them away like opposing magnets.

Franklin cares for Louie on some level, he just cares more about himself. My problem is that they're making Teddy the "big bad". The show was all shades of grey and w/e. But now they just making Teddy all the way bad, and everyone fighting Teddy is good.

People need to understand that there are levels to a person's feelings. Franklin cares about the people close to him but his goal is to make his bag and upgrade his lifestyle. Louie helped him at the very beginning with that goal so of course he's going to care for her but with all the things he did to reach that goal and with Louie going against him his greed outweighed what he felt towards Louie but deep down he still have those feelings for her.

That’s how you know they did a good job writing this show, the scene where Kane is telling Franklin how they’re gonna treat Louie, he already was gonna help her. They muddied this and confused most of you niggas by making Louie beg for her life and promise on giving Franklin info on teddy.

It’s projection the audience is still hurt Franklin definitely cares for Louie. Just like he cared for Jerome even tho they was beefing. That shouldn’t even be up for debate if they watched these 6 seasons.

Whole show is about shades of grey. People are not all the way good or all the way bad in a criminal market they are victims of circumstance. There are no big bad or big good. It's the drug game, you'll talk about it like its a barney show. Of course, we all want to see franklin win (because most of us can relate to him coming from a certain background), I want to too but let's not paint a picture of franklin as the big good and teddy the big bad. Franklin doesn't care about Louie like that he wants his money. Question if he had access to teddy do you think he still let Louie beat him up?. Of course he has some care who wouldn't with a family member but he doesn't care that much anymore, that's why he shrugged his shoulders. The show is telling the length in which franklin wants his money not for just the money to get out but to justify all his sins to himself.

Definitely understand what you're saying and agree with the human part because human beings aren't one dimensional we're complicated to say the least. Franklin would have to be a sociopath to completely not give a damn about Louie. At the same time I really don't think he cares for her that much is what I'm saying like she isn't a priority. Let's say something goes horribly wrong in these last two episodes and Leon Cissy Veronique and Louie are in danger family or not I don't believe Franklin would help her like he would the others. Maybe if I put it like this if Franklin could get his money back by killing Louie he wouldn't hesitate but with everyone else he most likely wouldn't even consider it. Yes he cares deep down but it's really really really really really deep down. He knew she was the one piloting the ship in Jerome and Louie relationship he said so at the restaurant with Jerome he understands Louie is one of the main reasons everyone in this mess his dad too but Louie played a significant part Teddy was probably always going to do him dirty but Louie drove the bus into the ravine. To sum everything up I'm just saying ain't no love lost between them Louie had it correct Franklin the king Demon 😈. It's just like the situation in the previous season with the shop owners he told Louie what she wanted to hear at the funeral and kept it pushing he also let her wail on him to her heart's content to let her vent her frustration that way he trying to secure her not stabbing him in the back which she easily could've everything is a chess move with Franklin I respect that and you better believe while those were emotionally charged moments this man is Lelouch maybe not Lelouch but you get what I'm saying. Snowfall is 100% a show that respects your intelligence that's why I believe when Franklin is angry as hell that is when the true him steps into the light.

He obviously cares for her to some extent, or he wouldn't have come back for her when Kane had her. Or maybe, he did that for Jerome, IDK. What I do know, which is the driving force of this final season, is that he wants his money and Louie being alive helps him getting closer to Teddy.

How much do you really care about someone if you are willing to set them up and be killed. The only 2 reasons, IMO, he had some sort of "change of heart" is because was going to do some messed up shit to her and she said she would help him get to Teddy.

At the end of the day, it's complicated We can go on and on about the proper way of showing affection, but we as humans are not always so cut and dry. I'll give you a somewhat trivial but maybe relatable example. I love my family. There isn't much I wouldn't do for them. That being said, I barely reach out to them, particularly relatives outside of my immediate family. Right before I left for Japan, my uncle died. I didn't think it would affect me much because we weren't super close, but it was the first time someone I had known for so long died. I ended up being afraid of receiving phone calls from my family because I was the one who called my brother to tell him about what happened. And the longer I didn't call my family the more I felt like they didn't want to hear from me because I left so soon after the fact. But deep down I knew that they wanted to hear from me, that they just wanted to hear my voice and know I'm okay (because I barely use social media). Why is it that I can't regularly check in on my family when I have the time to? It feels so weird to me that despite my love for them I couldn't even offer them that much. It was because of fear. Fear is so toxic it'll make you think and do things that on paper don't even make sense. But it still affects you. Once again, this example isn't on par with what's gone on in Snowfall, but it's to show that things are complicated. Emotions like fear and pride can hide a lot of the things you really feel.

I dont think if he Louie was executed that day (instead of potential gangrape) he would have feel particarily bad.It would have been the price of doing business and he would feel bad for Jerome but move on. Im not saying he wouldnt feel anything at all ( he known her for over 10 years) but I dont think that little piece left is big enough to be called family love. its not what he has for Leon or Jerome or Veronique. Once she fucked him with Teddy and then refused to help and all the time she kept trying to break away from him. she became his uncle wife more than his auntie. I think that this point her connection to Louie is mostly honoring Jerome's memory and having a common past. He loved his uncle and feel bad they ended on bad terms and he brought him to the shoutout where he died. And all he can do now for his uncle is try to do things right with the woman he loved enough to start a war with family
