Kainoa

Kk

i just wanted to say this but episode 6 and 7 are going to be the best two episodes of the entire show in my opinion yall in store for a good week

Louis

Y’all better get ready guys I watched episode 6 today and I almost shed a tear at how good it was. Lupa is definitely going to sweat.

Jay

Guys pls ep 6 this week😭😭 i cant wait for another week. Give us a surprise

Curtis Freeman

Ya haven seen Shameless huh👀 is this a teaser

Skrappy

Next episode is about to be wild asf!! 😜

jorel quieta

I prefer 6and 7 next week cause those 2 are wild i feel like their yin and yang and will balance each other out. Than 6 this week.

Azaria

we gonna need yall to watch shameless!!

J Man

Wow... Ebra got clapped by celery. That's crazy!

Eriq Anthony III

This show has a way to make you feel your in the middle of all the chaos... BUT NEXT EPISODE...I felt so much anxiety I started crying from frustration 🤣🤣

Robert

It’s always darkest before the dawn Ritchie. It hurt seeing him at his low this episode. Also feel bad for Carmy. He seems to enjoy art and fashion, but he ended up cooking. I just want him to be happy, however he gets there.

miraj

claire is so cringey i cant 😭

SageMode 1205

Next episode is one of the best, wild, insane, emotional episodes of television of all time. Be prepared...

MUDA

Ep 6 is next finally dawg

Barb
>>127865667

i really don’t understand what happened with her character because these writers write such compelling and interesting characters but they decided to just add in a mary sue y/n type character for what reason…..? i want to assume it was purposeful

Comfehhh
>>127865667

I think the point of her character was being "the normal calm one" of the cast to juxtapose literally every other character in the restaurant. ( and emphasize the toxic ass working environment) I agree though, she doesn't really feel like a character as much as a plot device imo.

Louis
>>127865315

Dawg i was so happy that I was in my living room and not in that fucking household.

akikonyan

we’re going to get the two best episodes next week!!

Barb
>>127865667

i always assumed that was definitely part of what her character represented but i still never understood how they managed to drop the ball (imo) in regards to that storyline. just the fact they’re able to write such good characters makes claire really stick out and not in a positive way unfortunately

Abel Nunez

The actress who played Natalie, Carmy's sister, was actually pregnant during the filming of S2. So depending on how long it took to produce the season she'll look way more pregnant as the season goes along.

britt

shameless reaction incoming 👀

13

Waiting until next week for these next two eps is gonna be painful

Mike A

It's nice to see a Carmy that isn't a total nervous wreck all the time. Him hanging out with Claire is probably what he'd be like if he never became a chef.

treyyy

Random ass fact but Sydney is the voice of April in the new TMNT movie

Eehk

This Claire bit is so dry

Mikaylin

OMG YALL NEED TO ADD SHAMELESS TO THE LIST AS A DUOOOOOOOOOOO

Zion Noland

“These plates loud as fuck bro” made me laugh way too hard

Skye Brooklyn

damn yall are fr traumatized by other shows bruh😭😭yall be READY to jump down someone’s throat over one thing like chill💀💀

entity

idk if yall know yet but like episode 8 of season 1, episode 6 is an hour long

Cinmnapple

Fun fact: the pants Carmy talks about are made by Thom Browne (high end fashion brand) who dressed the cast for their first magazine promo shoot and has also dressed Ayo Edebiri (Sydney) for multiple red carpets!

Nareenio

Sydney getting attitude from seeing Clair is so funny to me. Like I know she was both upset and jealous, she definitely likes Carmy more than per usual especially when she said that her best meal she ever had was made by him. Carmy also hasn't really had his head in the water because he keeps on putting off the chaos menu which he said he would look over with Sydney, hasn't called back the fridge guy, hes kind of been fucking up tbh and so seeing the root of the fuck ups which is Clair must've really pushed Sydney over the edge like "Yeah???? THIS is who you're wasting my time with?? Manic pixie girl who's supposed to be a friend but is DEFINITELY not JUST a friend, ok bro." LMAOOOOO

n9ruto

claire always free for an er nurse

Snjky
>>127865667

Watching it a second time I honestly feel like she’s just a character they brought back to make syd and carmy realize how they feel abt eo, like yk how in some romance shows they bring back and old ex or love interest to make the two main people realize how they feel, but I also always skipped carmy and Claire’s parts😭

Devin B

Before he was Carmy he was Lip and let me tell his character and the other characters in Shameless are the definition of chaos, I would be down for a reaction to it after this

ThunderousMacabre

Tina really said “To cook without a skillet. A truly divine feat”

sandoesntexist
>>127865667

i feel like that was the point of her yk? with the romantic “dead wife” lighting and the soundtrack behind their scenes, i feel like she was a plot device that set a clear divide between the camry we knew from s1 to past carmy. like in the next few episodes i think it becomes clear what type of character claire was supposed to be this season.

Ashley

pleaseeeeee check out Shameless! I think you guys would really get a kick out of that

Jaelyn Mcgee

like it might be just me cause I'm not a party person either, but I've never seen a house party that had that level of food/drink options or that many people like they show on tv. it's usually a couple of pizza options and that's it.

Champion Bescos

I get that her character can be a little jarring juxtaposed against the rest of the cast of characters, but I don’t find Claire to be a weak or poorly written character. Truth is, most of us have known girls exactly like Claire throughout life who actually talk and act exactly like she does. So it’s not unrealistic or flat writing. Its just different. 🤷🏽‍♂️ It may not ‘mesh’ with the way everyone else is written, but that’s obviously intentional. Even the way they film and light her scenes takes the manic-pixie girl vibe to a hundred; it’s meant to be an almost fantastical look into the life Carmie COULD have had, and her inclusion is a genuine shake up of the status quo in Carmy.

Michael Pamon

Y’all didn’t catch the “Marcus catching feelings for Syd” vibes last episode?

ok

Would kill for a Shameless reaction at some point lol

jorel quieta

Seeing lupa smiling like a little kid with claire and carm. People not understanding the significance of claire’s character is just sad.

These Plums

Y'all would love SHAMELESS, it's SNOWFALL long but it's a certified classic.

Devin B

I don't get the Claire hate, to me she represents what Carmy could've had in the past had he been more true to his desires, even them mentioning Carmy drawings and how he was into it but ended up not following through shows that he holds himself back a lot

Roxy Rezerina

lets go fish and forks next week

Saki

Def agree with the interest in Shameless reactions! Anddd the next ep 👀👀 Also I'm lowkey a bit surprised that it seems like there are so many ppl who hate Claire so much. I mean I don't really have any strong opinions on her, but I disagree with the idea that she seems super poorly written or anything (maybe she could b better, but shes not AWFUL, yk?) - its clear that she's quite different from the chaos of the others (and as some people have already mentioned, is ofc the point) but she still feels like a real person imo. Part of it also seems like a lotta people ship Carmy and Syd tho, which personally I really hope doesn'ttt happen,,like those 2 alreadyyy have so many damn communication issues and stuff just as they are now. I'm not under the impression romance would help that much. I lowkey hope they just work their shit out and stay friends - also just cuz I think it would be nice to have a partnership between a man and a woman thats just kept as a supportive friendship. (++maybe gives them just a bit of space between on/off the clock)

Erd'na

Can't wait for next week's episodes. Best ones are coming.

Jazko

DO NOT WATCH SHAMELESS. Not gonna waste a slot with that. 30% of it is good the rest is sex and dragged out plots

Uly A O

This episode is such a good pause to ep to come. Claire is just a different character living a different life to Carmy, one he could have shared, and one that is more of a real person stepping into the world of The Bear imo. She brings in a different atmosphere for Carmy's character. However, I find it unfair how Carmy is telling Syd she has to give it her all to make this place worthy of a star and care about it the most she ever has but then to not be in the present when he is needed most is a jerk move. NOT saying he doesn't deserve to be happy, cause he does, more that he communicates what is happening better to Syd and Sugar who are effective the heads of operations to make the Bear. Like bro handle Richie like they've been asking of you since the start of the season.

Ren

Shameless was like The Walking Dead. After the favorite character is gone, it gets boring

Beckett Cullen

Yeah that is not Van Halen lol but it is the song that fak was talking about with the other dude earlier in the episode when he was talking about his favorite albums

Shiratoshi

It said on the calendar that Carmy and Syd were supposed to review the new menu, but instead he went and spent his day with Claire.

Mark M

between this and barry you guys are lined up for some bangers the next couple of episodes

The thing that flows

Carmy has some patties to grease 😎. Really, the man needed to get laid.

sn

claire is definitely one of the more pointless characters

sn

shameless is definitely worth the watch

Endless Map
>>127888066

I hoping they maybe react to it. I know it’s an older show, but it’s good.

Endless Map
>>127881331

I mean, fair, but I maybe they could watch it in their own time, if they ever do that.

Zero

thanks for the reaction, i hope you can watch abbott elementary someday!

CentipedeKid

Carmy kind of does look like a bird I can't unsee it

sn
>>127888059

heavily overstated imo she’s not as important as u may think

Badattitude4U

Lotta people in these comments about to die alone based on these Claire comments

Gwyn
>>127881331

First few seasons were good before all the characters got super-flanderized. Frank almost dies from alcohol poisoning, gets a new transplant liver, and continues to be a shitbag alcoholic with no consequences. That's where I stopped. Lot of great actors and performances though.

Isis Lewis

never seen shameless????? nah yall gotta get on that

John Cedar
>>127877556

If Claire looked at me like that I'd sell The Beef in 5 seconds and take a less stressful life cooking somewhere functional and actually enjoy life 🥴 She's gorgeous and gives Carmy so much understanding and kindness. They just aren't "interesting" together for a show with a continuing plot but in real life they would be a very good couple. The only issue is both their jobs mean they could have an issue finding time to spend together as things go on.

Barb
>>127881331

i think the first 4/5 seasons are absolutely worth watching though

John Endaya

This last half of episodes is going to be so fucking dope!

Jaelyn Mcgee
>>127882866

yeah, esp since Syd is handling all of the stuff carmy should be handling. I think Richie and Ebra are both struggling with a lack of place in the restaurant given all of the changes happening

Uly A O
>>127882866

100% agree. For Richie I think it’s also a lack of self awareness, that he isn’t in the same position he was when The Beef still existed. Ebra I have more empathy for cause he isn’t someone actively making difficult to create The Bear. I just wished he talked to Tina and Carmy/Syd earlier about how this training isn’t working for him.

Tyrese Marshall
>>127924243

Both the UK and US hit. US Shameless is the only UK to US remake which is actually on par with the original

Jill I

Syd + Carmy = Ship. They are both f'ed up, talented, skilled, same desires and passion, etc. And yes Roshi, there was a hint of jealousy! I see them together and hope that it eventually happens in the show.

Jill I

I fucking hate Claire. Go away pls and leave Carmy.....and Syd

Lola

I'm voting for Succession instead, I heard it was a great show! I would love to start it with you all!

Kaiser Spiral

Yall ain’t ready for the character development in the next episode

Franklin wasn't getting away with 35mil scott free

I remember my shoplifting phase in middleschool. Me and my friends used to go to the mall and rob bare food from the supermarket pretending to cash items at the self checkout. Good times.

Devin B
>>127877556

bro I was ready to fold across the screen when they were talking in the store, that look she has really sucks you in

De’Quincy T.

You guys should totally watch Shameless. 11 seasons, one of the greatest shows ever. You guys will love it

PetersThimble

Carmy told Syd that you have to give everything to have a business like the bear and then literally fucked off on menu planning to get a girlfriend 😐

Himothy
>>127961187

Hell nah. It was really good up until Fiona left. After that it was dogshit

Himothy

Everyone saying to watch shameless, forgetting that it goes from top tier in the first like 7 seasons to absolute dog water in the latter 4 seasons

nickhaze
>>127933932

god forbid there is ever just a respected, platonic relationship between a male and female character in a show without someone "shipping" them. She isn't jealous of Claire cus she has romantic feelings for Carmy, she was jealous and annoyed because she felt left out of the communication with Carmy, who was sharing insight with someone who wasn't even his partner in business. Theres no romantic connection and I'd be super disappointed in the writing if they force it later.

Myst
>>128012656

they wouldnt watch something that long in the first place, people requesting are dumb

kelly
>>127874885

I think people's problem with Claire isn't even a reason they're aware of. It's the context that Claire shows up under. She's already in. She's close to the family, the friends. She knows Carmy. She's privy to a part of who Carmy is and his life and his family that we aren't and in almost a protective way, I think people see her and they're like "who tf is this girl to just show up and act like she's so important" when the reality is, she's always been important. But we didn't know her when we met everyone, and so folks feel like she doesn't belong. Like she's not a part of this and with everything we have seen everyone go through, it's like why does she get to come in and pull Carmy away from the whole point and also like...be happy with him? They feel like she's a distraction rather than something that could really add to Carmy in a way that may be what's missing for him to be a more effective leader and a happier person. He needs joy, and love and something outside of this and Claire could provide that for him and with something outside of The Bear stuff to alleviate some of the stress and trauma thats attatched to it, i think would be great for him thus great for the team as a whole. His nervous system needs something positive going on lol He is just a terrible communicator and he's very in his own head and anxious and it's to his and everyone else's detriment unfortunately. Claire isn't the problem. Carmy is. But no one wants to say that really lol also the Syd and Carmy shippers are mad asf lol

kelly
>>127864995

Not for nothing, I get why people want shameless but also...its...a lot. And a slog to get through after a few seasons.

Drake Rage

I might be weird but I have absolutely come across plates in restaurants that are TOO LOUD with the unbearable scraping noises some make, or plates that scare me that I might accidentally shatter them, cause of how loud they are, lol.

lyssa

Good episode

Darren Fuentes

Please watch shameless it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

kelly
>>127864995

Yeah sorry. Meant to reply to the post itself. My bad.

von

Ya deadass should watch shameless after this

von

I’d recommend Animal Kingdom too. It’s got Finn Cole (Michael from PB) and Molly Gordon (Claire from this show)

zanderbander

Was Carm the chef that was better than the chef in the last episode? The one who made him realize he didn't have to be the best at everything?

Dexter

Like Tina said Lets fucking go

Destiny Simon

i dont like the creepy girl she's like borderline cringe like she's trying a bit hard to be edgy, and if that isnt the case she's just annoying lmfao and overbearing.. he didnt wanna talk to her but she's persistent 😐

Imari
>>127888066

Super good if they haven’t seen any of it the storylines are gonna have them falling out laughing 💀💀💀

phantomzxro1
>>128245283

I don't see how that make her all that honestly. Sure, maybe she should have put two and two together when he didn't give the right number but Carmy clearly seems interested. Some dudes don't accept no the first time, so I don't see it all that weird.

matt i
>>128245283

but i feel like she knows what carmy’s been up to yet she still wants to pursue n it’s fuckin with carm’s head cuz he keeps blowin syd off

matt i
>>127888059

ig she’s plot development cuz fuck it’s annoying to watch her distract carmy

april 🍏

Roshi calling Claire the creepy girl is sending me

Nico
>>127964074

Catching up on the show rn and literally this entire part. Carmy we’re on a deadline you set bro

Just GJ

Man I forgot how little chemistry Carm and Claire have like... negative chemistry 😂

Smash Bran'Discootch
>>127888059

LMFAO Dumb take from a dumbass who clearly knows nothing about storytelling if you don't realize how important she is to the story. Read a book sometime or maybe have some real interactions with a human person.

Smash Bran'Discootch
>>127888059

Bruh, that's on HIM for getting distracted. Tf? Does her snatch secrete heroin? He can't choose to focus in the job?

Isaiah

y’all should definitely watch shameless 😭

yoongi

im sorry that ur here lmaooo these reactions make my day

Kevin

Syd is like moments from explosion and the fact that Carmy can’t see it is crazy. Can’t wait to see the aftermath

Kevin

Tina!!!!! Her story has really been a highlight for me.
