what is goin on in this show?? lol is bro her Dad??

Comments

Jazmyne Mattucci

Sheera is on the right track but he didnt buy her YET. thats why he devalued her in the first place, to get her low enough where he could just swoop in and buy her once her price went down. but something happened after that tho cuz if that was the case, why didnt she just get her after the fact. thats my ONLY question

Liam Gilbert

Maomao's referred to him as her adoptive father a couple times before, it's just more noticeable now that we have the whole Lakan thing going on.

Liam Gilbert

We also knew her dad was a eunuch because he was working in the inner palace, where the only men allowed back there are eunuchs. Maomao also said that's why most doctors in the inner palace aren't that good since most doctors don't want to get their pps cut off just to work there.

Gabe

Peakren waiting room

DjCve

Roshi, first you de-value something then you get it at lower price, not the other way around... but yeah, I loved your guys brain storming afterwards, was really fun to see you come up with different theories and ideas

Just_existing

im pretty sure we do know why the adoptive father got kicked out and im pretty sure it had something to do with the whole pregnancy situation where he could only attend to one of their babies.

Cameron Robinson

The story didn’t forget to mention that he was a eunuch it just used showing and not telling. It showed him working in the Rear Palace, which we were told earlier is only for eunuchs and women, and he’s wearing a similar blue to the eunuchs of the rear palace, even though he left it.

Jay

Hmmmm, the plot becomes plottier.._ thank you for the video!

Alexander Szabo

Pretty obvious old creepy dude R-worded and impregnated MaoMao's mother in hopes of reducing her value. At least that's what I'm gathering.

Zak

Where is peak leveling upload at

AttackRunRepeat

MaoMao is so smart until Jinshi is literally standing in front of her and she can not comprehend that he is not who she thinks he is.

WindyCannabis

Just sitting here waiting like everyone else for the upload we all want, time to put up Solo Leveling.

Kreative

I thought Maomao's mentor was kicked out of the palace because of the Jinshi birth scandal

That is correct, they mentioned blame had to be shifted somewhere and basically he was chosen.

Liliana
>>128931936

She knows, but she's said several times that it's best not to get into stuff that's none of her business. I'd say that's smart in its own way.

Danny

I don't think he bought her out. He said she was so popular there was a bidding war for her, and she got too expensive. My theory is that he r worded her and got her pregnant to lower her value. And since he's such an important official in the emperor's court he got away with it.

Taveon Staten

R we not getting anything else today does anyone know

Delinda Arts

Y’all boys thirsty as hell lmao y’all better sit down and wait on it 😂

Yolo Samurai

Roshi: Yea, a reverse BBL, they made him fatter!" Me: I thought the whole point of a BBL was to make one fatter... 😏

Leanne Stephenson

There was an ep where they very much made it a point to focused in on his eyes and his eye colour, which is where I've seen other reactors begin to suspect Lakan as her dad due to the eye colour alone

Greece Shrestha

Isnt solo levelling scheduled for today?

Bishop

Mi want sleep, almost 1am nuh bludclart frieren 😭

also since she was super smart and he likes testing people he prob made up some mystery for her to solve only to make it so she failed and her reputation was ruined. so he comes in like a knight saved her from being in trouble then he rapes her gets her pregnant and the loss of whatever mystery wasn't just a something went "missing" but people died because she messed up and he saved her from getting killed then she prob found out and was left broken that someone she trusted would betray her all to have her.

Ash

Nah Lakan couldn't afford to buy mao mao mom so he "devalued" her

Soul Pirate Ruichi

There was an emphasis on his eyes when he was talking to Jinshi 2 episodes ago I believe

Kami_Psy

I don't think he bought her out. It seems like she was a high-value courtesan and he got her pregnant to reduce her value because he was mad and that prevented her from being bought out because she was "worthless" since she wasn't pure anymore.

DarkGodHao

he didn't buy her out, the whole devalue strategy was to make her easier to acquire by making her cheaper either deflowered or pregnancy, also that guy hasn't seen maomao face to face yet, he's only heard about her being from the vadris house and having intelligence thus is reminding him of maomao's mom but hasn't made the connection without actually seeing her in person yet

Chris Hee

Maomao really is like Sherlock Holmes, master of disguise! Also, nice to see her be willing to tease Jinshi now, she clearly does feel more comfortable

Skebaba
>>128931936

Yeah it's better not to know, because simply by her knowing he's potentially not an eunuch & not busting his ass for that could mean she'd be executed as well for guilt by assisting in hiding someone isn't an eunuch despite knowing about it (theoretically, given the facts she has figured out etc)

Skebaba
>>128934643

You CAN'T do the gambit without the other party consenting tho, because since it's a red light district they could easily just abort the pregnancy literally instantly after said rape, so if a pregnancy becomes visible enough for it to ruin her value, that'd imply the courtesan also consented to it, otherwise the baby would have been fetus deletus'd w/ abortifacient

OldManMag

They said it was her adoptive father before in passing and we also learned he was a eunuch because his name was in the book in the rare palace. And the only men who are allowed there to keep the ladies pure are men who have their manhood removed.

Nish

Bro how do you not remember that he was a eunuch, it was revealed when we learnt about the "dead baby"

Andrew shultz

Well the story did mention it lol. I think more than once.
