Brenda

You guys are gonna love this!!!!

icynub

Let’s goooooo

Moh23!

Yessss

Denzel

I have beeen waiting for this one!😭 Excited for you guys to watch it

Drea _

Hell yeah. My prayers answered 🙌🏽

TChang23

Another day hoping for a your lie in April duo reaction someday 😭

Chanyeol

20:33 yes she was the guitar player from sweet home and main girl from celebrity

ALIEN Pol

Sheera Returns with the Cancer Outfit 🗿

Klinton O

The best kdrama for me alongside extraordinary attorney woo

Denzel

The actress who plays Ju-ri was in Sweet Home and Celebrity

Snjky

Ahh this is my second kdrama I ever watched, it has a special place in my heart, I’m happy to see you guys watching it!!

Dyastro

I just realized this could be interpreted as an azula redemption arc--- "you will always be alone, because u are a monster"

phantomzxro1

I'm surprised to see you guys reacting to this one. This one is more drama/romance so less action but such a great show. Hope you guys dig it as it's in the top tier kdramas for me.

phantomzxro1
>>131125809

Same when it comes to having a speical place. It was such an interesting show for me.

Bria A.

Couple things I will say in advance before I watch this: • Warning you now that they overplay the hell out of the soundtrack, but I hope it doesn’t make you enjoy the show less 😭 • The visuals / cinematography in this are very surreal and fantasy-based so when it comes to analyzing and theories please don’t worry too much about taking things literally!

Denzel
>>131128715

As they should keep playing the tracks, The whole OST is spectacular🥹

Bria A.
>>131128715

It’s a very good OST but even I have to admit the amount of times they throw on the bg snippets in one episode alone can be a lot lmao. And I know Roshi and Sheera always point it out, so

Tyler

im so hype for this show. still one of my top top top kdramas i've ever watched

Snjky
>>131125809

Yess I absolutely love it! I also love that when I watch it over again I understand more of the psychological aspects of the show that I missed the other times, such a great story that was written and acted out well!

Mo

one of my fav kdramas ever! excited to see you guys watch this one

Bria A.

They’ll do a lot of…hm, fantasy realism in this show? I don’t know a good term for it — like the visual representation of the publisher acting out the text messages, random sound effects, in-show editing…that’s even outside of all the storybook stuff, and you kinda just have to roll with it lol. Also, as soon as they do a big pause and start playing still grabs from earlier in the episode you’re free to turn it off, those are just the end credits!

Earphone Jack

Another K Drama y’all should check out is The King’s Affection.

Moons

Ko moon young is one of the best female characters in K-drama. She’s just so entertaining to watch. Can’t wait for you to see more of her shenanigans

Nancchi

I just had to be at work smh. Can’t wait to see y’all react to this when I’m home

ARC98

I love this k-drama, it's one I have seen too many times lol can't wait for more!

varus ez

It’s a good kdrama but it’s slow and there is romance, I don’t know if they will like it

May

I'm so excited y'all are watching this! One of the best kdramas out there. The characters, storytelling, visual direction and pacing of this show are honestly top tier.

Miekala Jones

One of my absolute favorite things about this series is the balance of comedy, mystery, romance, dark, wholesome, and sad elements. It's just so well written. It's the most satisfying roller-coaster of a Kdrama I have seen. I also think they handle the mental and emotional sides of things very well.

Moons
>>131140196

It’s not an action thriller but I wouldn’t say it’s slow

cami ً

I never finished this show for some reason but I do remember liking it so hopefully I can finish it this time with y'all!

raeven b.
>>131128715

I’m someone who, no matter how good it is, if it’s been overused, I’m over it. Excessive repetition irks me. Let me miss it when it plays again lol but that’s me—I have friends who can play the same songs back to back multiple times in one sitting and I just can’t lol so I get it

raeven b.
>>131123639

Yo, a headscarf and a t shirt is house clothes for a black woman—what the heck. Gotta protect the hair.

ALIEN Pol
>>131123639

Exactly that's what I am saying.... GOTTA PROTECT THE HAIR......... FROM THE CANCER

Bria A.
>>131128715

Funny thing is, I *can* actually leave a song on repeat, especially if it’s background noise for writing or thinking or w/e. But repeating snippets of ballads constantly doesn’t work for me—and I do think there are times when it downplays focus on the actual dialogue or acting.

ameera warsame

hey we are boycotting starbucks cuz of the on going genoci*e in palestine

GojosHoho

Omgsgsggs I LOVE THIS SHOW Kim SooHyun is one of my favorite Actors 😍

GojosHoho

Y'all not ready HER FITS ARE FIRE everytime

Elle E.

-@20:30 yes that’s her from “Sweet Home” girl with guitar & “Celebrity” main lead. -Childhood friends to lovers is a common K-Drama trope so the “too coincidental” is intentional with K-Dramas Lol

Elle E.
>>131140196

I think the comedy & visuals will keep them interested. I wouldn't say it's slow either, kinda at the right pace

AllanJ

My favorite part of their KDrama reactions has to be Sheera asking Roshi hypotheticals of them being in the same scenarios as the show and Roshi not entertaining it at all 😂

GojosHoho

Kingdom next?🙃

poisonivybag

I forgot how much humour this show had haha, hope you enjoy the ride!

Rosie

best part of this show for me was her fits. she didnt miss once

faded

Like the title, so i guess i’ll check it out

Irieezy.

Warning: there is definitely many moments of them staring at each other 😂 ig the directors wanted it to feel like time stopped when they looked at each other but yeah just a heads up! Love this show!

shadowfiend

what are the odds I literally just found this on Netflix and here ya are watching it

J Man

Sheera was right in "is that her?". Ol girl was the hipster girl from Sweet Home, and main character from Celebrity... she's very versatile. I also liked her work as the "spoiled rich girl" in the drama Romance is a Bonus Book

Zykira

You guys picked a good one

Desi

Good show but there's a lot of staring, so be warned loll

I’m Tired

this drama is definitely top 10 of long stare-down scenes

Ash

Alberto nooo!

sen

this is a really good show yall from start to end

PetersThimble

To be completely fair, if my dad tried to kill me: I would literally disown them too and not wanna sign paperwork that had to do with them at tf all 🤷🏾‍♀️

Thulani Mason

Ohhh my Godddd!!! I'm so glad they're watching thissss!!

Rosie

the extra long stares always crack me up lol. really excited to rewatch this with you guys, a really well made drama definitely one of the top ones ive watched. i remember wanting to buy some of the books i believe they sold some as merch. that wouldve been cool to collect.

kadee

actually the best kdrama i've ever seen (and i've seen a lot) so excited for you guys to take this journey

tanaya

I forgot what an incredible show this was. Thank you for reacting to it and giving the opportunity to rewatch it.

Sasha

I didn't remember this one being that funny. Hopefully it continues like this because I clearly can't remember. I'm as excited to watch this reaction as I was for Itaewon Class.

Sasha
>>131190927

The books would be so cool. They're probably not available anymlre though🥲

Sasha
>>131184993

First it was Rebecca and now it's Alberto😂 if you know you know

Sasha
>>131182836

Long stare downs are great if the setting is right. This drama is the perfect example of that.

Sasha
>>131167737

First seasonis kinda great but second season kinda messed up in my opinion with the different directors for different episodes.

Sasha
>>131155832

He just looks so perfect you can't hate him😂 and yeah haven't seen his acting elsewhere but in this one he's standing on business.

Sasha
>>131154528

Enough with that. You all don't have to bring palestine into everything.

Sasha
>>131140196

If you don't like some show because of its genre it's just stupid.

Sasha
>>131136182

Every historical dramas get incredibly boring at some point. At least all of the ones I have seen.

Sasha
>>131128715

Sountrack is usually what either makes the kdrama or it kinda makes the show lame. To me at least the songs in kdrama is one of the main appeals.

Rosie
>>131190927

a quick google search shows me theyre still making them but theyre quite expensive probably okay to buy a favourite book out of the 5 but the full set is like a hundred bucks

Sasha

I hope they won't be talking trash about the songs in every episode. (I don't know if it's just a joke)

Rosie

missed these clown characters. when he started dancing down the stairs like the joker 😂

Sasha
>>131155832

Yea. I've seen it on Viki and Netflix or whatever popping up from time to time. Maybe it would even end my struggle to find another kdrama to interest me.

Sasha
>>131190927

Oh. Well kinda expensive but maybe I will invest in the full collection🤑 (when I have a little extra money)

Patsakorn Pariyapranee
>>131167737

Messed up like in fucked up? I do agree that season 1 is better, still good though (+ I am Thai college student and I know the innuendos of every episode, which makes it better for me)

Angel

Hhhhhjn💝💖🩶🩶💚💛💛🧡💙💙❤️‍🔥🖤🩶🖤💜💙🤎🤎❣️💕💞💗💟♥️

Jalani Abdul-Aziz

the constant and excessive cut backs when they are having their standoff stare contest is killing me lol they just keep going

Moons
>>131154528

"No need to bring in politics" when the "politics" in question is just not wanting children to die and basic human rights

sen

i definitely forgot about all the staring, the random clips and sound effects but other than those this show is really great

icynub
>>131200380

They don’t talk trash about mostly they like it but what they mean is there is like that one song that the kdrama play every episode and they usually recognise it in the first ep

Atlas Creation

you need to watch the “Kill Boksoon” movie- it’s really good and better than Ballerina in my opinion.

SmittyWerbenjägermanjensen
>>131154528

Okay I understand that, Its not a great thing we know, but you're bringing it up in a place where it was never mentioned, spoken about, or focused on. There's a place and time for it.

beannieswife

i'm so excited, i wish ya'll could binge this lmao, the acting in this is IMMACULATE, one of my favorite casts tbh, and the show just gets better and better

Blur
>>131136182

Kingdom did its thing but i get what you’re saying

DreAKAWolves

Aye gang how bout that new Schoolboy Q? 🔥🔥🔥

min
>>131149461

but it will take 4 months with only one episode each week TT

PhantomX

VINCENZO NEXT PLEASE 🥲🙏

Iris Lee

i'm so glad you guys are watching this show :) now that i'm re-watching it with you guys, i didn't know there were so many intense staring scenes in this episode!

Iris Lee
>>131310921

also i don't remember correctly but in some episodes, they have some additional clips at the end of the video. might be good to check it out!

Tancho21

got bored man. i thought i was gonna be mystery but its just drama.

Reagan N. S.

So glad you guys are checking this out! This is one of my favorites just because it's unique and definitely a worth it/satisfying series.

Elle E.
>>131315822

it's a Romance/Comedy/Psychological K-Drama. "Worst of Evil" that they're also watching falls under Mystery

Yvnngpd
>>131140196

Well you can't say that some people don't like romance shows me included but if the shows good it's good but if I saw romance I probably wouldn't click on it

solo prince

this show is excellent 😭

ShanCarr

God this was hard to watch. Only hope it gets better.

Indifferent Denji
>>131200380

I think it's just a funny thing most people noticed. Like I hate the itaewon class intro song cause they always play it but I still like the show. I also have had that final fantasy ass song from flower of evil in my head for like weeks

Elle E.
>>131425089

more than likely this Genre is just not your cup of tea if you feel this way. the acting, cinematography, storyline and script is top tier

ShanCarr
>>131425089

Actually it is. And I went and watched a few more episodes just to confirm. But the female lead (not the actor, the actual character) annoys me to no end. The rest is ok but for me personally not living up to all this hype. So I’m dropping the show. No biggie.

Zia L

WAIT A SECOND!!!! I'VE WATCHED THIS SHOW LOTS OF TIMES BUT I JUST REALISED SOMETHING......... At the time-stamp 56:58, its her knife... when she said, wait one moment, and ran back into the hospital... she probably gave him the knife... WTF!!!!!! HOW DID I MISS THIS!!

Abstract Dread
>>131425089

I believe that she's supposed to and then she goes through some serious character development during the course of the show due to her past and dude plus his brother.

Sekraan
>>131220998

Came looking for a comment on this. It killed me how uncomfortably long they lingered on their staring contest

Elle E.

ooo I'm so excited for episode 2! Haven't seen it since 1st came out in 2020 so it's like I'm watching it for the 1st time again.

Oni Tyrone

"You park like an asshole" GTA V Flashbacks

WTT_321

Ahhh yes, I'm glad you guys are watching this drama!! I know I'm a little late to this post, but watching this the first time for me was utterly insane with how they set up the plot and characters for what it'll be like in the future...!

olle spengler

peak peak peak lets gooo i have been asking for this!!! my favorite series not just kdrama and my favorite actress. you will love this, amazing writing, characters, story, plot, cinematography, storytelling, visual storytelling, dialogue, life lessons, romance, drama comedy, mystery, sadness and pain, everything amazing

Drake Rage

Wait... Exhibit A: The author lady says "he should die, he is not a patient, he is vermin." Exhibit B: Author lady says "There are thoughtful freaks who kill the bad people, and clueless citizens, which one do you think I am?" Exhibit C: Author lady goes back into the hospital saying she had to do something first. That night it is reported that the dude who was trying to kill his daughter has died in solitary confinement. Hmm.... have we found the culprit? lol.

princess

my all time fav kdrama

rickie woodson
