Not everyone’s sex drive runs on the same schedule and that’s okay! ⏰ If you’re revving at “daily” and your partner’s at “once a week,” it doesn’t mean you’re incompatible. It means you’ve got some syncing up to do! 🔄

Talk about it outside the bedroom so it’s less charged. Share what sex means to each of you: connection, stress relief, pleasure, intimacy…because understanding the “why” behind desire can open more doors than just negotiating the “when.”

Get creative with connection. Maybe that means scheduling sexy time so both of you can anticipate it, mixing in non-sexual intimacy (think cuddling, massages, flirty texts), and exploring solo play without shame when you’re on different wavelengths.

The goal isn’t matching drives perfectly…it’s finding a rhythm where both of you feel seen, desired, and satisfied!

Do you feel you and partner having matching drives or a little bit mismatched? Let me know your thoughts in the comments! ❤️

This has always been a problem for me. I would go solo to get relief when my wife was not available. Penile rehab, pump and vibrator, is now a very pleasant activity with vaginal penetration a very special experience.

Unfortunately, due to my wife's health issues, we are no longer intimate, so it's pretty much all solo time for me, at least my hand is always in the mood when I am 😂

Looking more and more like scheduling will be needed when J is up to it again. She falls asleep as soon as her head hits the pillow and I can't do mornings because I need an hour or two of sleep to recover.

Guy

Probably a scheduled entire day.
