Today marks 10 years of marriage 💍 an entire decade of partnership, growth, laughter, and love. Ten years of choosing each other again and again, through the highs and the lows, the ordinary and the extraordinary.

Love isn’t always fireworks. Sometimes it’s the small, steady moments like sharing coffee, holding hands, laughing at the same silly joke for the hundredth time, or showing up for one another when it’s not easy. Those are the things that make love last.

Since we’re celebrating, I’d love to hear from you:

🤍 How do you like to celebrate milestones in your relationships?

🤍 What’s one small act of love or intimacy that means the most to you?

🤍 If you’re partnered, what keeps your connection strong through the seasons?

Let’s fill this space with stories of love, care, and connection 🥂

Happy anniversary Dr Susie! Best wishes for many more! We like to celebrate by going to our favorite restaurant, it's a Brazilian steakhouse, all you can eat meat! And what keeps it connection strong is just the little shows of appreciation we each give each other.

Carlos

Happy Anniversary to our favorite doctor. You don't look one day older than you did 10 years ago!! My wife and I have been married 46 years and been together 50 years. It's the little things that work for us, like making her coffee and breakfast every morning and bringing her flowers every few weeks for no special reason other than I appreciate her. And we consider each other best friends (with benefits).

Happy Anniversary! 10 years is quite the milestone. Celebrated our 15-year anniversary earlier this year. We married late in life but once you know you know :)

Ten years. Well, I guess it's pretty official then. Have a wonderful day with memories and looking forward to memories to be created. After almost 50 years of platonic chumming around, living together and marriage, I'm still totally lost in J. I cannot imagine life without her. She might be a bit more independent, but we're almost like one person in many ways. Makes me think of a Helen Reddy song. 🥰 We have no particular tradition in celebration, always happy for new experiences. Health, though, will be toning down our adventures.

Aww, thanks for the kind wishes, Eric. 💕😘 We started the day at our favorite breakfast diner, then took a nice stroll through the historic Montford District. I’m thinking we’ll watch our wedding video later too. And yes to the little shows of appreciation—they really do add up and help keep the connection strong. It’s easy to lose sight of how special our partner is, especially in long-term relationships where the focus can slip to their faults.

Thank you, Michael! 💕 Can’t believe it’s been ten years—they flew by too quickly. I'm sure you can relate! And congratulations on your 15-year anniversary 🎉🥂❤️ Although you married late in life, it's the quality not the quantity of those years that matter the most. xo

Aww, thank you Carlos. And wow! 50 years together is something special. I love hearing how those little everyday things still feel meaningful between you two. Best friends with benefits sounds like the sweet balance to me. 😉💕

This made me smile, Guy. After all those years together, it sounds like you and J have a deep and steady kind of love. I had to look up the Helen Reddy reference—now I’m curious which song you had in mind.

Guy

"You and Me Against the World." Only in a generalized sense, though.

Married 23 years. We love to travel, to celebrate our anniversary. We usually head to the mountains. For our 25th, I'm really wanting to travel up to the upper east cost... New Hampshire or Vermont, for the beautiful fall foliage. Small act of love or intimacy... we put little notes out, "I love you" or "Have an awesome day!" in fun places... in the cupboard propped up against a coffee mug, or inside a cereal box, kind of like a "prize." Beats any kind of super decoder ring! I usually put a note on the bathroom mirror "You're beautiful," while she's in the shower... so it's one of the first things she sees when she steps out of the shower. She's got a lot if insecurities about her body. So whatever positive reinforcement i can give, to help her love herself, and know that I'm still attracted to her no matter what her body looks like.

Hahaha please do! I had to make the switch because my wife loaths me saying the f-word (she loves the word just not me saying it as part of my lexicon haha) so, I found "cotton candy" had the same added empowering and add emphasis & thus, I have uses it since 🤘 I laugh hard (no erectile function pun intended; although it's duly noted lol) when I hear "cotton candy is soooo good - its the best" to which I internally answer, "yes...yes...it is" 🤣🤣✌️✌️ Anyhooters, you are welcome!! - keep on keepin' on with awe-inspiring pizzazz & the ultimate radness - cheers 💪💪❤️🤍💙🙏🙏

Haha that's mondo-bondo!! - you are absolutely and always welcome! I am glad we both like and love [the use of] cotton candy - now , hearing the intended use of cotton-candy is hard to do (puns not necessarily intended; but again, oddly noted lol) 😂😂😂😂 🤘🤘⚡️⚡️💪💪🔥🔥🤙🤙😎😎 I also love the Hump Day pun! Got me in stitches lol I With that being said, Let have a Cotton candy blast (Double entendre pun with blast intended lol) on this unearthly Hump day!! I appreciate your recognition and return laughter and love (now I want tk watch the 80's sitcom, 'Grow Pains' lol) as well. Until next time - keep on keepin' on with bedazzled badness and the ultimate 'rizz - have a great one 😀 😊 ✨️✨️✌️✌️❤️🤍💙🙏🙏

My wife and I will be celebrating 25 years this December. There has been a lot of ups and downs, hurts and some heartache, but the knowledge that love is a verb is what has helped us through the good times and the bad ones! Communication is essential, learning how to work together, and remembering we are on the same team!

Dr. Susie Gronski - Doctor of Physical Therapy

Congratulations on 25 years, Ben 🎉. I 100% agree-- there are many seasons a long-term relationship goes through, but as you beautifully said, it's the love, communication and collaboration that nurtures the bond and allows the relationship to thrive.
