So my family was Baptist. Little talk about sex or even body parts. My parents gave me the book "Growing Up" about body changes (as far as I can remember) and that was it. My grandmother had worked at a mental facility and got the idea that masturbating was connected to mental problems. Of course in reality the poor buggers probably didn't have anything else exciting in their lives. However, I did masturbate from an early age. I developed a Don Quixote attitude of protecting women's virtue and was shy so no dating. No touch. When I was with my first partner, I did not become fully aroused because I was so confused about a woman coming to me for sex one month before my 30th birthday. She said we should see what happens in the morning and as I was drifting off to sleep I appologized to my then dead father. "Sorry, Dad, but it's going to happen. It's time." Even now I don't know what touch is appropriate or welcome so I just don't touch. Same thought pattern when I need to respond to touch. I was 74 or 75 and seriously in need of relieving tension from ADT emotions before I finally consented to being touched in full body Swedish massage. I once did have sex on a balcony visible from the very popular Huntington Beach, CA at my then partner's urging, but not my cuppa. I was confused and angry when I learned other men don't have multiple orgasms because there was no literature and I felt like a freak. Became the center of my attention for quite a while. Touchy subject when talking to oither men, but I had to try to understand and this led to an arranged hookup for me to prove that I have multiple orgasms. Sex ED up through high school was all about parmecia and amoeba. We did have a boy's assembly with a local medical doctor while the girls were in an assembly about menstruation. I didn't understand one word of what was being said, but a classmate later told me that the doctor said we shouldn't touch ourselves. Over the last almost 50 years I haven't had to change. J has provided me a place safe from having to explore.

I really resented that there was no literature on male multiple orgasms as that sort of shut us out of the conversation and made bringing it up with other men a touchy subject. My brother also has multiple orgasms and because of the lack of information he just referred to it as the "family trait". I've since found good literature.. J in the last few years shared that her ex fiance had multiple orgasms and I guess that was the reason she was not surprised. Problem is that women seem to think men need to go the full route which is not true and can be a problem. Not everyone needs marathons.
