If sex feels like something you are supposed to perform, it's no wonder pleasure goes missing.

Satisfying sex is not about checking boxes, having fireworks, or proving anything to anyone. It is about connection. Feeling safe in your body. Feeling present with your partner. Feeling allowed to go slow, change your mind, or just enjoy what is happening without an agenda.

This Valentine’s Day, try letting go of the goal. No pressure to orgasm. No pressure to do it “right.” Focus on being curious, staying connected, and noticing what feels good in the moment.

Connection is sexy. Performance is exhausting. Choose the one that actually nourishes you.

Do you feel pressure to perform on Valentine’s Day or otherwise? Let me know in the comments.

To me, Valentine's Day is just another day.

My philosophy is that if you need a special day to treat your significant other nicely, you're doing it wrong.
