What an incredible arc.  The backstabbing and feels run deep! The plot twist on plot twist its arcs like this that make Gintama shine amongst other animes. It has so many different styles its crazy 10/10 arc!

If you have time, you should rewatch episodes 257-261, or at least look at a plot summary. Oboro and the Tendoshu are in it and it explains who they are. But here’s the Cliff Notes: The Tendoshu are Gintama’s version of the Illuminati and control most of the Galaxy’s governments behind the scenes. Oboro and his minions are their enforcers.
