Tsukikage is hired to help out as an assistant chaperone to Mrs. Oshino, Ms. Shizuka, and some other teachers on the school trip under the guise of Star Moonshadow until the MicroRep Support Squad tells her how bad that name is and she just uses Hanako Yamada. Tsukikage also helps out by being a bus/tour guide for the class as a way to keep an eye on Rentaro to make sure he’s safe in Kyoto. (Rentaro’s mom is fine with him being alone usually but always gets nervous whenever he’s relatively far away like in another country or somewhere outside the prefecture. Rentaro is used to going on trips with Tsukikage and doesn’t really mind it). On this school trip, however, Rentaro forces her to not follow their group while they’re sightseeing in Kyoto and to not call him “Young Master” on the trip. She’s also not allowed to wear the maid uniform obviously so she’s in her slightly intimidating business suit for the first half of the trip but switches to a more stewardess-type outfit when acting as their guide in Kyoto.

After Rentaro successfully indulges himself in some sweaty clothes and gets out relatively unscathed, he goes back to the boys' room satisfied in sacrificing a relaxing bath in the hot springs with a sauna of sweat. Nevertheless, Rentaro finds himself unable to fall asleep and is extremely restless till deep into the night. Hoping that it’d help him sleep, he sneaks off to go to the hot spring at 2 or 3 am. As he’s exiting the boy’s room he runs into a slightly drunk Tsukikage in the hall. (he can tell from the blush on her cheeks and how close her foot was (usually she’s a lot more careful about this stuff)). She reveals how she was heading to the hot springs since she also didn’t get to bathe due to being busy with administrative stuff. Rentaro tries to go back inside but is picked up by Tsukikage and briefly sniffed. She realizes that he also didn’t bathe and decides that they both should bathe together “like old times.” Rentaro mentions how they can’t do that since he’s older now, but Tsukikage reassures him that it’ll be ok“There’s nothing that neither of haven’t seen before so you don’t have to feel embarrassed, but if it makes you comfortable I can keep my towel on, Rentaro”

She’s a lot more forceful when she’s tipsy. They head over to the woman’s bath since it’d be more awkward for her if she was caught in the men’s bath and there’s no mixed bath at the Inn they’re at. They start with showering in which Tsukikage man handles/cleans Rentaro by hand and then they head into the bath after Tsukikage teases Rentaro by asking if he’d like to help shower her (feet) in return. She puts him on her chest and they talk a little. Cuts to some side characters who don’t know about Tsukikage and Rentaro’s relationship. (Currently thinking Chihiro, Nozomi (got forced into going with the group of girls despite being a boy), Makoto (maybe), —character that hasn’t been introduced yet—(idk), Sekira and some other random girls who like Rentaro will decide later). They over hear the two of them talking and think it’s a secret love thing and listen in. They can’t see them through the fog but hears Tsukikage say that “Maybe you’d like this a whole lot better” followed by some movement in the water and a bashful yelp from Rentaro. (This is actually Tsukikage putting Rentaro on her foot).
