"Kikuka no Chigiri (or Kikuka no Yaku) [The Chrysanthemum Promise]" is a story included in "Ugetsu Monogatari" written by Ueda Akinari in the Edo period, but there is no direct connection here.
"Sange" is originally a Buddhist term, and refers to the practice of scattering flowers to offer prayers to Buddha during Buddhist ceremonies at temples. It is also used as a euphemism for death, especially death in battle at a young age, from the meaning of scattering flowers.
But there is no direct connection here. No, there isn't.
In Japan, the anus is sometimes likened to a chrysanthemum flower and is slang for "kikuka" or "kikumon" (chrysanthemum gate) (・ω・)b
Yes, the chrysanthemum flowers scatter... that's the meaning of the title (´ω`)
No, really, I'm the worst (lol)
