On the opening, Kabru knew the most (as far as tying things to the Toudens, Marcille, and Shuro) with Mick having ‘opinions’ about Chilchuk as a businessman, and Dia knowing Namari’s name and that her father’s embezzling is why things currently kinda suck for dwarves on the island. . 6:43 One of the mini-dragons (drakelings? No official term) made of Red Dragon’s blood. While Marcille slapped plenty out of commission, there was a /lot/ of base material left over to work with. . 12:17 Mandrakes have faces, but not for a moment could they realistically be mistaken for a human being. It’s the ‘passable’ worry they’ve been on about, between the fishmen and here. Passing resemblance to a human? Better not risk it… or, well, that was the premise of that hesitation, anyway. The cheese /might have/ come from trading with the orcs before parting ways? . 15:40 29. Middle aged man getting the birds and bees ‘splained to him because he’s too awkward to clarify that he knows what it is. . 17:48 The maiden Senshi. . 25:30 Not by heart, and Laios was faster asking if she knew how to prepare (for petrification). Possibly for the best she didn’t look for it at the last moment, else the book would have been stuck in her hands. . 25:41 Legal/species distinction, so ‘no.’ Tallmen are effectively ‘base humans.’ Zero percent chance it comes up, but in-universe the term is based on Halffoot language, originally calling those significantly bigger than them that weren’t elves, ‘trolls,’ and featuring them in scary stories during youth. No clarification on whether trolls ‘previously’ existed and evolved into Tallmen, or ‘actually’ exist elsewhere with Tallmen sharing some traits being full coincidence. . 29:45 It would have shown in the episode if it was going to, but didn’t; Falin was maybe not the /best/ teacher for magic. Like Ubel from Frieren, she pulls more from instinct. Unlike Ubel from Frieren, she doesn’t phrase it in a way a novice could understand. . 32:46 Just for the bit. Also, Dryer-Er+Ads.
