My favorite episode of video removed by yaboyrocklee After watching this season finale I can promptly say Lee has outdone himself and the blank screen is truly peak and I can proudly say that “video removed” is anime of the year

John Ng

The video is always here. Lee just shadowjitsu the video until we are worthy enough to watch it. Oh Mighty One! I did pay my subscription fee to be worthy!! 🤓

O mighty Lee we pray for your blessing to lead us into the light. Blessed be the maker and his streams

Black Hawk

They say second season is green lid and it's in production now

Black Hawk

You know the episode is good when they have a good long intro LOL

Time stamp 11:05 "that's OP NOW" yaboyrocklee

Just like with Mashle I knew this anime was gonna have people hooked.

16:26 Let's be real, Mina saved Kafka from the Kaiju in him. Kafka x Mina 100%.

Casper Ghost

There were a ton of anime only scenes and they were all good; I'm stoked for a season or cour 2.

Shakir

On god if i’m them i’m making him a weapon. A mfer that loses his mind and stronger then the strongest? We finished

Yasha22

29:48 when Kaiju no 9 is talking and says "we" I'm pretty sure they're showing a clone of himself or something. One sitting at the computer and one stand facing the other way

I don't think they are "clones" per se. Based on the augmented big boi fungus unit, as well as him just evaporating from the scene into particles, I assume he's a fungus-type Kaiju, so I assume the one at the PC is just spore propagation into an extended unit (like how all the "mushrooms" in a forest are technically 1 entity, since the mushrooms AREN'T them, but their dicks basically; their real main body is the mycelium network underground connecting all members of the same type into 1 entity essentially). Honestly I'm not surprised that a fungus-type kaiju would be the R&D dude of the kaiju faction, since fungal lifeforms are stereotypically in many fantasy & sci-fi settings displayed as hivemind type lifeforms

I think kafka is the core in that imagery and the kaiju was trying to take over him. I feel like you have to be able to suppress or overtake the kaiju's personality so to speak to be able to use its power. it feels bleach like. kinda like it goes off the same principles as vizards. at least for the numbered weapons

Top 3 favorite anime of the season. One of the most mediocre and bland openings and endings of the season.

Casper Ghost

I do find it funny that in the meeting with Mina the generals made a big deal about Kafka using kaiju powers when the defense force is literally built around using kaiju powers. Kafka effectively has a numbers suit built into his body and the only real difference is it doesn't require help from the operations team so it just felt dumb, especially since there are officers with kaiju implants. It was also weird that they claimed all of his success was due to his kaiju powers despite specifically mentioning his success at finding the kaiju's weaknesses on the fly on the battlefield which had nothing to do with his powers just seconds prior. It was just really poorly done and accomplished nothing storytelling wise. Of all the anime only content they added this was the only one that just didn't fit or make any sense.

Casper Ghost

Where'd y'all's love of Go recently come from? Was it from a show or something?

Nonkin

While Kafka intended to hold off Isao's assault until an overheat, it was never claimed whether or not Isao's restraints were undone, or if this was just his "base" level of power when equipped. Imagine letting things get /that close/ to destruction and still holding back.
