Yeah, I enjoyed that. The #1 student saw the 4 other students and said "Why don't us top 5 group together and wreck the dungeon together?" and even the resistant ones agreed in the end because it would be stupid to refuse. Completely logical.

True, I forgot about the guardians. I still feel like they should know swordsmen are useful, it's basically a guardian that don't require mana or being high level

What I'm about to say isn't really a spoiler, because it's never really been addressed in the series. More of a theory. Regarding Rosty : Rosty Nowman sounds a lot like - Frosty Snowman. And Rosty's strange infatuation with Will and all of the questionable actions - What were episodes 6 and 7 about? What was revealed there? If you think about all of these things together, I think you can better understand Rosty's actions.
