Even tho I like k dramas I feel like one of the main reasons I liked this show is it has a lot less of the typical tropey moments that take u out of the show. Everything is very believable from the main leads relationship and the events of the show (obvs if we suspend our disbelief on zombies). This show manages to be super engaging while also feeling so realistic and believable I really can’t think of another k drama I’ve seen that gives me the same vibe.

From what I have seen in this kdrama, even if they have the virus, if they are in humans, they are normal humans, she didn't transform for that to make sense.

Thats one reason i love this drama, is cause the infected arent zombies that are completely gone and can be written off as monsters to kill. So in comes the morality of do you kill the infected to save the noninfected, or endure to try and save everyone in some way.

On the point of how the glasses dude is handling the situation and as you said he doesnt have the means or resources to handle it fully thats why they used trucks. That is why Sae bom said she wishes she told the media faster, cause once the media leaks it to general public then the government has to treat this as a national emergency and handle it instead of keeping it a secret. You saw how fast they quarantined that huge block of apartment buildings. That is because now its a known issue that they can say they are handling.
