The actor who plays the role of the lawyer seems impressive in his every work. It came to my mind that I saw him in another drama, The Innocent Man, where he also played a role as a lawyer, but with completely different characteristics, and he did a great job there, too. Even when it comes to a guest role who only appears in several episodes in Signal, he is always impressive in his roles.

Lee Sang Yeob is an amazing villain, his expressions are perfect. He actually started to get main roles recently, happy for him, he really deserves it. I'm glad that you gave him credit, this kdrama was really popular in 2017 but I was annoyed to see that there wasn't much buzz around him at that time, I guess it's hard to shine when you work with actors that are already big, this dude worked really hard, I have seen him in many variety shows too. Also, about that Suzy's scene in the bathroom, let be real, we do stuff like that when we are alone😂

1:08:32 Come on guys lets help Lee reach 1M subscribers so he can get his masters and become a lawyer for fun. Lol.

You know what…. I never thought of that. Yes When we reach 1 million subscribers I want to go to law school. Lol. Thank you. I just need to start going part-time And I’ll get it done eventually

That's a great goal. You'll be the only one in law school not capable of ninjutsu so you better hone them taijutsu skills. Just don't be a laggard. Lol.

Florina Niko

You were right about the fact that there were two girls against a man but some people turn into stone in situations like that. I think I will fight too but you never know for sure until it happens.

Becca

Love rewatching this with you guys. What you were saying about the lawyer is one of the things I love about Park Hye-Ryun, the writer of this. In all her dramas -- Pinnochio, Start-Up, While You Were Sleeping, I Hear Your Voice -- all her characters feel like human beings. The leads are allowed to be messy and have bad habits, the antagonists are allowed to be complex and have understandable psychology. She's just great at writing people who feel like actual people, and highlighting little unglamorous moments that make the world feel real. Props to her leads, too, for being so willing to portray themselves in unflattering lights. All the actors in this show are great.

I get it. I restrained myself from talking more. Lol. Experienced similar remakes in Revenant, again 2 ladies watching the other lady hurt herself and scream. Folks didnt like it. But i would also say the same thing if i saw 2 men sitting there screaming

People will say. “They are scared, some people freeze, you never know how you’d react when you’re that fearful”. I understand all that. So i decided to just shut up. Lol. If i remember correctly. Cuz i still kept screaming it in my head

Both of them are like this show; so much fun, with an appropriate amount of pathos and such likable characters. A lot of the same actors in this show are in Pinnochio, actually, so it's fun to see them playing completely different roles.

I feel like that's an understandable reaction though. Whenever characters just stay still while something terrible's happening in front of them, I blame the directing and editing. XD Should've either emphasized how scared they were in the shots they chose, or given the actors something to do in the scene; especially with a character like HongJoo, who's so gung-ho usually. Maybe see her surreptitiously calling the police, since it's clear she did, or have her searching for something to get the knife off of him?

Florina Niko
>>149584106

YaBoyRockLee There was no need for that because many people had the same reaction 😂I realized the situation only after watching the episode, it happens, I was just saying. I feel like the people should think more about the fact that you are all watching it for the first time.

Florina Niko
>>149584106

Becca You have a point, there could have been many details in that scene but in the end, that was the script, they probably thought it made sense for them to be scared and it is possible. No matter how strong you see a person, we hear stories like that.

@becca. Yes emphasis trembling hands or something. The scene is also taking place in a dramatized fashion. The audience has plenty of time to think. So for a person like me watching. “Wait a minute there is 2 of you…jump him! At least try cuz i am watching inaction for a drawn out period without much to disarm my thoughts. Its like watching your team losing in sports. You know they are doung their best. They are literally the best in the world. Like top 1% but you yell at them to do better anyways lol. “Why didn’t you throw the ball or blah blah blah”

Jonathan Enoch

Fun fact the ost I love you boy which played when they were on the bus is sung by the female lead Suzy. She was in a group called Miss A ,Twices seniors

He is a guest role in only several episodes in Signal, which I don’t remember his name but I can’t forget his role and his storyline. He is a clerk in a store in those episodes, and I guess his story is in around episode 10 or something, (episode nine to eleven seems pretty much right).

Pilausky

Haircut makes him look like the main villain from Vincenzo

Mochi

yoo beom is literally pronounced like "you bum" which I find ironic cause he's such a bummy character

Yoruka

The trash lawyer has his history of passing responsibility onto others when it can make him look bad, all the way back to when he made Jae chan take all the blame for the motorcycle. He is obsessed with "im not the bad guy" mindset and will fight anyone who says he is.

LightMyPath Star

God I can’t with the second lead syndrome on this one 😍. Btw that Happiness intro 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m dead 😵🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍

BATMAN!!!! (I watched this with a group and was yelling "Batman" and rooting for Batman the whole time)

J Man

I like how lawyers use their law ability like a superpower. We need to get this evil dude, Woo Young Woo, Miles Edgeworth, and Jimmy McGill for the avengers team up of indestructible lawyers.

But Bum Suck from Weak Hero deserves to be called Bum Suck. Dudes a daddy killer. He killed the dad from Twinkling Watermelon twice with a boot and grenade. Then he kills Lee Jong Suk's dad here with a machine gun.

J Man

What also made me laugh from the end of this episode, is Lee Jong Suk showing up in slow motion and OST (somehow this froze the op). Then he hit the ops with the Marvel vs Capcom 3 Phoenix Wright "Take That" down forward circle move.

J Man

Also, the lawyer wiping the hands in the end reminded me of Attorney Woo where it also ate at her that she was too damn good and was helping guilty ppl get away too because of being a super-lawyer. Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman is a similar situation. Homie in this show was like "I have to wipe away this sin!!! I'm too good at my job!!".... I also liked Lee referencing Jesus and Pilate in the end discussion because that's a good similar situation.
