Thanks for the reaction. It was a great show. Freakin' Franklin! For live action suggestions with 1 season do anyone of the Mike Flanagan tv series like: The Fall of the House of Usher. 1S 8eps. For the trash, toxic people. Midnight Mass. 1S 7eps. For the villain and religious aspects. The Haunting of Hill House. 1S 10eps. The Haunting of Bly Manor. 1S 9eps.

I don’t know how the ending should have been but I always thought frank and teddi we gonna ride off into the sunset,RICH together but it ended how it should have

Yo! If ya didn't notice, the "Free from all of it line" was a line Franklin gave way early in Season 1, I think it was episode 1 too. Where he was working at Cho's and he told Mel how his only goal in live was to be "Free from all of it"... Deep

But yeah, Snowfall is definitely a classic. Definitely a classic for the culture. Hits me hard in multiple ways. My dad had a lot of work running a nonprofit and being a preacher, with me as the number 1 soldier, dealing with the ramifications of what the CIA did to South Central, introducing Crack, giving us work... I always saw Snowfall as a amazing period piece of my hometown. Yes we lived adjacent to the hood... In Koreatown, but that was so we can sleep at night without fear of gunshots comin' from niggas spinning the block for some stupid shit. Ma dad's office, right on Crenshaw, and that's home for me friends...

So glad you guys enjoyed this and stayed with it even though the numbers weren't there. The bell curve that is The Life of Franklin Saint is absolutely astounding as is the sheer amount of utter destruction that he left in his wake. And, of course, one of the saddest parts is that we leave him exactly where we found his father, as a homeless drunk with a son who is (hopefully) living a better life without him.

Loved the reactions, it was a great ride!!

Do you remember when Franklin talked to Mel at his job ( Cho's) and told her his dream? He said he wanted to be free, free from all of it". That nice little connection summed the story beautifully

"trying to get into the music business" was a teaser for the next season of Snowfall. Apparently Wanda is about to be the main character with a buncha mains in that season. Hope y'all cover it. It apparently is going to follow the rap scene over the drug scene
