I love the genuine respect everyone has for Loumen. Even LAKAN knew he had to come correct when Loumen showed up, and Loumen actually got Lakan to speak to Jinshi with respect. That last scene was so good and has me so hyped for what's to come.

LOVE THIS EPISODE!!!!! The forbidden army is the emperors personal army as the emperor lives in the forbidden palace. So really Lakan is saying go to the emperor your "brother" and get that army so we can go get my kid. And we know the emperor doesnt wanna piss Lakan off. DAMN this is so good!

Also I'm pretty sure the reason Jinshi was so hesitant to expose the rebellion and declare war isn't just because he doesn't want to reveal his true identity but also because like Maomao said, this will cause the deaths of the entire Shi Clan, elderly, women and kids too, plus also the deaths of a lot of soldiers on our side as well. It's a lot to consider, so I can't blame Jinshi for being hesitant to do it, even though I also understand Lakan's perspective but I love how Loumen put Lakan in his place though!!!!

I think what is holding Maomao up from confirming Jinshi's identity is his "age". When thinking it through, this episode, she said she considered he could be the Moon Prince in the past, but his age does not line up. Eunuch Jinshi is 24, the Moon Prince is 19.

I think when Lakan said "you don't know if you're talking to a man or a woman" he was referencing the fact that Jinshi and Concubine Ah Duo have been changing places for a little while lol

Theory: There is a reason that they've made a big deal out of the resurrection drug. Maomao is going to use it to fake the deaths of the children and probably Loulan as well. She'll probably use the notes from that previous apothecary to improve the drug and remove the side effects.

So I double checked to see if anyone mentioned this but the bow that Lakan and Lahan did for Jinshi is how a father in law would bow to his son in law. He's basically saying Maomao is yours now so take responsibility for her.🧐 Also Lee you are correct. Jinshi has to take up the mantle of the Moon Prince in order for Maomao to not get in trouble for leaving the Rear Palace. He can declare war on the rebellion for kidnapping his women or property as they were also known back then.😤

The recap on the Jinshi and Lakan scene was too good. I didn’t even catch that he was calling him p*ssy the first time I watched it LMAO! And yeah, Forbidden Army is a tuff ass name. If you told me I gotta squabble with them I’m slippin out the back before the battle

Yeah some people think that he was referring to the fact that there was actually a woman disguised as Jinshi she at the meeting earlier while Jinshi was away. But I still think our take is way more fun. So im gonna say both.
