The watch doesn’t wanna give him four arms cause he’s the big stepper problem solver. If four arms comes out the fights done the problems solved, so for the plot to go on he gets something else.

a fun little thought I always enjoyed to have for the Omnitrix is that it has a mind of its own, so it will either give ben the wrong alien to troll him or a better alien for the job like in most of the cases since Ben always tries to default to 4 Arms Lmao. Don't get me wrong 4 Arms is kewl n all but some of the other Aliens are better in other cases. I for one love Diamondhead's extreme versatility as the gang will begin to notice with each appearance of that Alien form

One thing I'd like to add funnily enough is if you think about it carefully, Which of the 10 Aliens could've probably stopped that rock slide the best 4 Arms - Nah, one too many rocks, doubt he could stop it all fast enough before a lot of hospital people get hurt. (future episodes will show that having good knowledge or mastery helps a lot and what makes this choice possible lemao) XLR8 - Possible but I think Ben needs extreme control over that speed to be able to stop that many and I don't think he has the time to learn or figure it out on the spot. Diamondhead - Possible but Ben would need to conjure an ungodly amount of diamonds that I doubt he'd be able to do it quick enough nor do I think he knows that capability yet. Upgrade - Idk if upgrading one Vehicle would be able to help him ram or defend all those rocks especially since they're spread out but who knows. Stinkyfly - Maybe? idk how sticky his goop is but Idk if it can handle all those rocks with that kind of speed the rocks are building Are we really gonna talk about these ones? lol Wildmutt Ghostfreak Grey Matter Ripjaws Funny how what he did with Heatblast is not only efficient for his energy but something he can do with little mastery. If only he was able to do it sooner (cause he thought shooting the rocks would work Lol) he couldve probably minimized more dmg. He also had basically NO casualties aside from the trucks and bridge which I think is better than a bunch of people PLUS property dmg (assuming the rocks crossed the bridge) but for all we know he couldve done a mega heat wave like he did with the Vans and try to "melt" the rocks but Im sure we all know that won't end well or will take too much of his energy (cause he still had that enemy chasing his DMs) And with those thoughts, That's where my headcannon for the watch being able to analyze and understand Ben's circumstances and provide a better Alien for the job based on his current mastery over each alien OR just completely troll him cause in some fights 4 arms could just outright win. Hear me out though, what if the Watch is also forcing him to use the other aliens so he can learn how to use them better? If we follow the headcannon, It's a good experience for Ben which also lets him learn the capabilities of other Aliens. If he keeps spamming 4 Arms, when he decides and needs another, he'll be confused and lost as what he needs to do. If he had perfect mastery over all aliens then I'm sure Diamondhead, XLR8, and 4 Arms would be better, Maybe even Upgrade, Stinkfly, and Heatblast with perfect mastery can apply to that scenario and it would just be up to Ben what he feels would cause less DMG at that point

To each their own I suppose but like I said Too many rocks, too little time, and Ben dosent have that heavy experience for it yet. Not to mention the amount of effort Ben would probably need In complete fairness it really is his best alien by technicallity
