I am so glad that I bought this I am enjoying your reactions to this anime because it's actually one of my favorites and on your outro when you're talking about more money for your manual compared to your automatic that's because manual is more money just like if you buy a pickup truck if you buy one that's 4x4 drive compared to two wheel drive you'll end up spending more money for the 4x4 drive

the thing is i dont know if we ever really know how many years go by in this anime. like is he aging normally until 21 and then the aging slows down for the next 400 years, or is his 'teenaged' years like 10-40. hes definitely put a lot of time into his training and running his empire, plus he has that learning machine.

we don't always get precise years, but they do give time based updates throughout the season, it can be somewhat deduced from the information presented, there is a statement near the end of season 1 of how many years go by (over 40 years passed since 5, nearing 50 y/o), and statement at the start that the "legal adult" age is 50. In many Isekai fantasy strories, the typical "legal adult" age is 15, and this series seems to follow that pattern just with higher numbers. He appears to be in his early to mid teens after the time skip, and till the end of the season, so it is reasonable to assume that age 50 is the same as being 15 physically. So it's neither of the options you mentioned, because if he aged normally until 21, he wouldn't look like a kid/teen at near 50, and if his "teenage years" were 10-40, his voice would have changed before the major time skip. There had been 2 years in the education capsule, and 3 years training before the unknown time skip occurred, so he was 10 before then. The part that remains unclear would be the exact rate of aging for the entire lifespan, as it wouldn't be possible to live to 500-600 from the age ratio of 50:15. For the remaining lifespan, there's probably more context that will explain things later or there's more detail in the novels, so I can't say without that knowledge, but I can at least give a theory about it. Either the aging rate gradually slows as they get older, or temporarily stops entirely for a certain chunk of time, but I also think it's possible that the rate of aging actually differs from person to person, given that some obviously old people look young (Liam's grandparents), and some people look old but are of the same generation as his parents (the old looking guy in the bar). Also the fact that Amagi gave a lifespan range of 500-600 reinforces the idea that everyone ages differently in the long term. She also mention that a "legal adult" may not be considered a "proper" adult at 50 but at 100 instead. Lastly, people in real life can appear younger despite being older, but just not as extreme as in this anime. But with all that said the short answer is this; 50 = 15, and 100 probably = 18-21 or 18-25 maybe, and 500-600 = something like 50-100 or 70-100. One thing that is for certain is that it's a non-linear age rate. P.S. just a bonus theory I thought of sharing, when I thought about the old looking guy in the bar compared to Liam's family members, I thought that maybe the nobles have slower aging that the commoners because they have access to better technology, but then again the girl at the bar looks the same even after 40+ years, so that's probably not the case... just thought it was a fun theory to share... lol.
