Toradora is not even that good. People seem to really like it but I finished it and thought it was meh. Rent a girlfriend however is PEAK. The content is entertaining, the characters are fun to watch, the production is amazing, RAG is 100x better than toradora

The story isn't the greatest and kinda drags at some points but it's doesn't deserve the universal hate it gets. People just like to turn their brain off and hop on the hate trend.

In all honesty I think the first couple seasons of RAG are enjoyable and funny to watch. My personal issue with the series is where I know it’s heading and what’s currently going on. I’m not going to say anything beyond that because I don’t want to spoil you but I’m definitely heavily biased in my opinions of the series right now and honestly, I feel like most people who hate on the show probably are in a similar position because like I said the show genuinely was entertaining the first couple seasons. I’m glad you’re enjoying watching it though and I’ll watch it along with you again only because you are entertaining and I want to see your reaction to this.

Counting only the first 12 eps of RAG and Toradora, I prefer RAG just for slop enjoyment. But series as a whole it’s Toradora easy. (Mainly for the fact that I can only enjoy repeating slop with the same characters for so long. 400+ chapters of that is insane…)

Issue with RAG is the MC is too damn old to act the way he does. Its like they wrote a typical middle/early high schooler MC, but made him a college student. Kept annoying me and I had to stop. There mightve been some heat airing that season too

i think its fun, i dont think its S tier writing or anything...its just really fun to watch....i enjoy it as much as Love Chunnbiyo and Delusions and i think Rag is more enjoyable than MOST other romcom/slice of life shows i've seen personally. But i have a preference when it comes to having fun lol...I also enjoyed the heck of out Domestic Girlfriend... Peak... I dont know if i thought scums wish was peak but i remember liking that a lot too.

If we're talking about which show has better girls to choose from, then RAG for sure (almost got a character archetype for everyone). If we're talking about any other aspect of what makes for a good story, then Toradora sweeps. RAG is carried by simps simping away for their favorite girl, just like the trash MC. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves or trolling. Now as a trash Isekai enjoyer, I dont fault anyone for liking RAG but dont pretend like it has a deep, emotional and well thought out narrative lol
