Damn I don't know why these episodes on Viki are so cut up, but you guys missed some crazy romantic tension scene during the makeup session. The scene was much longer and they almost kissed at the end lol I don't know why they cut out all the good parts it sucks like crazy

6:40 This, I don't see how people are like "oh, I want to go back to this time period, like the 50s, 600s, 20s... or worse a dynasty. Like Lee said, it's a curse. The way these characters have it hard and they're "royalty", so don't even get me started on if you're a woman. Unless I got superpowers, don't send me back 😅.

I'm glad everyone notices 8th Prince is full of empty promises while 4th is a man of actions. The worst is when he does NOTHING while she's going through hardships, then have the nerve to come tell her that's it's all over and to forget everything😒. Just annoying 😑.

I love the almost kiss scene so much!!!😭 And it's so important for the plot. You can easily find it on YouTube though.

Yeah, but if they finish the series they won't check up the scenes on youtube later and Viki for some reason cut some of the best scenes that really make you understand the relationships - like when Hae Su and Baek Ha get close after she defends him and get drunk together or the 2 minutes of the make-up scene where Wang So basically pledges eternal loyalty to Hae Su. Its so frustrating lol especially since the scene with the "forced" kiss after that comes out of nowhere with these cuts, when they almost had a kiss before the ritual and without Hae Sus visions of "evil" Wang So and she was much less afraid and her heart was racing

51:30 the kingdom is new which is why he is the first king, three kingdoms fell for the birth of the new kingdom, which is also the reason the king married alot, to show that the people of the old kingdom wouldn't be abandoned under the new administration, so he married alot of nobles and royalties of the fallen kingdoms to promote unity. A lot of the citizens still consider themselves people of the old kingdom

I am joining the dislike of 8th Prince every episode but her leaning on his shoulder and holding hands and meeting in private. Dangerous moves.

Lol you say there's no spark and to each their own but personally I felt the spark between the 8th prince and Hae Su, but also the spark between Hae Su and the 4th prince. But I purposely held back from getting invested in their relationship bcuz I knew he was the 2nd ML and they weren't gonna end up together.

I agree that the almost kiss scene is imp to the plot and I hate that it was cut but it's also clear, to me at least, that in that scene she didn't wanna kiss him. I'm not saying this to hate on the 4th prince btw, to me it looked like he noticed she was frozen in fear and so he held back which is good and respectful of him. But it's a "thank God they didn't kiss" scene to me bcuz she didn't see him romantically at that point and was uncomfortable by his attempt. At least that's how I saw it, so I like that he saw that and stepped back. Again, this is coming from some1 who is rooting for the 4th prince, not the 8th.
