When the elf girl, Kagali, said “the old me” she’s referring to her previous life as the demon lord, Kazalim (Male). This was explained back in S1 or S2. She was defeated by leon but yuki saved her soul and gave her the female body she has now

For a refresher on Kagali since it's been several years and all this was said in her first introduction and when Clayman died: Kagali is the soul of Kazalim put into the body of an elf humonculous by Yuuki (as explained by Yuuki in season 2). Kazalim was the leader of the Clown Troupe and creator of the clowns, with Clayman being the last clown created before Kazalim was "killed" by Leon, whom took his spot as 10 Great Demon Lords (as yold in Clayman's dying flashbacks.) The way Kazalim's soul survived was the same technique Raphael said Clayman was trying to do, his species (deathman) has that ability to detach their soul until they find a new vessel, as Rimuru called out before telling Clayman he won't let that happen and Clayman will be killed permanently.

This was revealed in Season 2 when Clayman died and had several flashbacks about how he was created by Kazalim, and Yuuki explained Kazalim was put into an elf body and renamed Kagali when "she" was first introduced

It's a little bit misleading to say Yuuki saved him as hebwas defeated long before Yuuki arrived. It's more like Kazalim used the technique Rimuru said Clayman was about to use to escape (detaching his soul), and Yuuki gave Kazalim's soul a new vessel

TLDR on what we know about that dragon from the anime so far: - Milims father cloned himself and gave his clone to her as a pet - The elves killed it - Milim went into rage, became a demon lord, destroyed the elves - Then she revived the dragon, but its lost its soul and became the chaos dragon which she had to seal away

What a great reaction absolutely love it. I was gonna say some stuff, but I read the comments beforehand and they're actually saying all the stuff that I was gonna say, so I don't have to repeat it. Ok I changed my mind because as I'm writing this comment, I'm watching your end discussion, and you rewound to win the elf girl said to the Guild master, you betrayed us. Is it just me or him closing his eyes with that smile and doing that little mmmmm could he be faking that he's under control. It just seemed a little weird. I mean, the other 2 are just standing there blank faced no emotions, but yet he gave a little bit of emotions, it sort of reminded me when Millim was pretending to be under Clayman's control. But yet, towards the end, when they were fighting and then the Veldora showed up Milim had that little smile and a head nod when he's like let's play or am I just putting too much into it

mariabelle is speaking to the naruto style discrepancy between ideals and truth. the truth is that through just plain dumb luck, rimuru had all the building blocks of a titan. he had the ability and the drive to make his ideals a reality. i get where mariabelle is coming from. shes more of a realist whereas rimuru is CLEARLY and idealist.

Honestly bozo lucked out, as Kazalim oririginally tried to body Yuuki to, well, hijack his body for incarnation. If I was Yuuki, I'd have personally killed Kazalim...

I only said saved his soul. They mentioned how people like kazalim and clayman had the ability to come back after “death” as long as their souls are unharmed. Leon likely had a way to completely eliminate kazalim like rimiru did to clayman. So if not for yuki then kazalim might not be around to plan revenge. It would explain why kagali is so loyal to yuki

This isn't spoiler, but wasn't Kagali the blond elf woman some kind of old demon lord? It was revelead in that season 2 end when she is with Yuuki. Clayman called her his master too...lot of mystery things happening.
