lestat bringing up "we are unnatural beings" was just him trying to justify his abuse bc it's better than admitting than what happened to him was wrong. He wouldnt have thrown up and panicked if he actually believed his justification for his relationship with gabriella. That being said in the end youre still right tho that louis and lestat shouldnt judge each other

as for why Daniel is with Armand now, i think Armand catches him during a time where he's still angry about his transformation, Daniel was ready to die back in 2022 as an old man with an autoimmune disease and Armand messes it up by turning him AND abandoning him, he's now directionless and lost. Armand offers guidance and safety (powers like being in the sun). When Armand comes back and offers direction, Daniel clings to it i think

Attraction is such an interesting thing because I can objectively say that Sam Reid is an attractive man and I can understand why people are drawn to him but I'm not PERSONALLY attracted to him or Lestat. On the other hand, I sometimes look at at Assad Zamans Armand and I think he's the most beautiful man in the world so hearing you say he's not easy on the eye is CRAZY to me. Armand is supposed to look like a beautiful haunted doll and I've always thought the casting was perfect. Interesting.

By the way, they did know the "Other Vampire" with Armand and Daniel was a vampire. That was Alex, the guitarist in Lestat's band. Lestat even called him by name, looking confused, when he recognized him. He's brother Larry was the one who jumped in front of the train last episode.

yeaaah buuuuuut when i see the actor casually...i do think he's easy on the eyes and handsome...its the vampire look they went for and his personality that was bothering me lol. lol...dunno how to describe it.. but when when i watched the Actor in an interview smiling and just regular...i was like "oh thats normal looking guy no issues lol" so i think ultimately i dont like his character much so as a result i found him uneasy on my eyes lol...

Lol, its ok you don't have to defend yourself 😂. Looks are subjective, I just happen to be really attracted to the aesthetic choices they made for him on the show. I do think he looks best with Armand hair without the red orange eyes. Also, I'm pretty sure it's the contouring they do on his face that creeps you out. He's supposed to be. Maybe even the oversized coats he wears which is a lazy workaround to the fact he's a relatively large man who's supposed to be playing a small and unassuming character. It's why they had to get 6ft5 man to play his maker.
