In regards to the peace deal, no the deal was terrible. The Empire got attacked first, and the deal was they get no money for all they spent, lose all the territory they occupied and return to the pre-war bordersy, and have to trust that the Federation wouldn't just break the treaty and attack again since they'd need time to build new defensive lines and everything. There's no way a country like the Federation was acting in good faith, and the Empire would permanently have to keep sizeable mobilized forces on that front or the Federation could get away with a massive surprise attack and push deep into Empire territory. That peace would also PISS off every single soldier and the populace who have spent a lot of effort, manpower, money and all that on defending their country. The Empire would likely have accepted it if the Federation was willing to offer war reparations and conceded the occupied territory to the Empire, and perhaps a DMZ zone type thing that Federation forces had to be say 100 miles from the border or something like that.

I love Mushoku Tensei and don't disagree. Since I read the MT Light novels I knew this first part is more a slice of life. I do enjoy the slice of life part a lot myself, plus there are some things I wanted to see animated so I'm chilling at the moment, and the Eris episodes were superbly done, but the good will come. And Tanya the Evil Season 2 has been absolute peak so far, and that intro omg!

Just remember the Federation were the ones who started the war. To just go Oh yeah everything is going back to what it was from before. If anything the Federations should of had to pay war reparation's. They started it, they started losing and suddenly wanted to back out lol

I don’t remember how the war started exactly but wasn’t it something like every surrounding country invaded tanya’s ppl because they were getting too far ahead or something like that? If that is the case and bunch of my ppl died for that reason I would find it difficult to just give up in that scenario as well

As a Dane 5:05 You saved it with Norway Director XD This here is a very good way to show the different mentality. Tanya's country The Empire (Germany) Is waging TOTAL WAR and have for years. For a country that have not fought in this new industrialized form of war the Ildonian Kingdom/Sorry if spelled wrong (Italy) This is war crimes. If the Ildonians went to war they might even use horse charges that is how far behind they are. Very much like what happened to many countries doing WW1. Also the reason it's not a church it's because the Federation (USSR) Is atheist so they most likely tore town all symbols of faith i am assuming that's the reason in the show

Empire wasn't the aggressor. Multiple nations invaded, and the Empire crushed them so thoroughly, they got viewed as the villains by the world. Leading to more nations attacking. The Empire was always just defending itself, but it also wanted to crush it's enemies and gain honor, it doesn't want peace that feels like a surrender.
