When you guys were confused about what was under the door to the basement, it was rat tracks. Not the scrape of the door opening over and over again. (It was right to the left of the scrape). Which led Rudy to open a hole in the wall to cast frost nova. I love that a ton of people were getting a little upset about how slice of life things were going up until we met Perugius but most of us were anxious that something was coming and here it is.

If you reconsider all the previous advices from Hitogami again, you will realize that all of his advices were trying prevent Rudy from reuniting with Roxy. One way or another. Domino effect. Scary powers. Why tho ? Right :) Insane

Great episode. Great discussion. I reached a similar place as Lee in the recent years as well. Tired of people in my family and governments using religion as an excuse to do toxic things so became less and less religious over time.

I do know that Vegeta means vegetable in the back of my mind, but yeah, I didn’t stand out to me. Lol. He is Vegeta, which means vegetable, but he’s a prince of all saiyans. Prince of all vegetables ? I dunno lol. But I have to believe you I didn’t know the Saiyans were vegetables lol

I really am drawing a blank on what man-god goal is. Why trick Rudy? For what purpose? It’s seems like the only people that know the existence of man-god are long living, powerful people. Me personally I have a problem listening and obeying a higher being, im not that trusting of others. I just have my doubts.

Man-God (ヒトガミ, Hitogami) vs Human God (人神 (ジンシン), Hito-shin (Jinshin)) It's something that loses a bit in translation. ヒトガミ is in katakana. Traditionally, it should be written in kanji as 人神. Authors frequently use Katakana for character names to make them stand out, give them an otherworldly feel, or signify that they are a proper noun. In Mushoku Tensei, the linguistic play between 人神 versus ヒトガミ serves as a masterclass in narrative wordplay and world-building. In Mushoku Tensei, every other god or deity uses On'yomi (the Chinese-derived readings of kanji) for their names. For example: Dragon God = Ryūjin (竜神) Demon God = Majin (魔神) Water God = Suijin (水神) To a native Japanese reader, reading 人神 as Hitogami sounds incredibly casual, almost blunt. By having the kanji display the grandiose title of Jinshin while forcing the reading Hitogami, it perfectly mirrors the entity's personality: a terrifying, ancient cosmic force (Jinshin) trying desperately to act like a casual, trustworthy buddy (Hitogami) to manipulate Rudeus.

Just watched it....hit harder than I expected, which is awesome, because in my head, I tricked myself into expecting next episode to be this episode. Hot damn, Mushoku Tensei is still killing it. Now, to watch the reaction!!! I do love how you fellas get into the story. Re: Zero, TenSura, and Mushoku Tensei. We are living the greatest new age of anime right now.

I realized something new...we saw rats up at Chaos Breaker, no? And that place is old af, right? And that disease is old af, right? Rudi, get a lawyer, man. Perugius's shitty housekeeping might have cost you everything if not for Old Man Rudeus! Seriously, those rats really stuck in my craw in that episode, but I didn't recall ANYTHING about the connection from the novels. I have to consider that the studio wanted us to see nasty ass vermin very clearly for a reason. Then again, maybe I just missed it? I mean, Shizuka is dealing with an ailment that was not a problem for 7 millennia until her Earthian system got all screwy. I've never considered this, but the whole part of the story seems to have a theme- "Shite from way back when is no good." or something like that. I didn't read up on it, but Perugius's mural looked like it showed all the old gods. Our special not-friend Hitogami is probably on there, and a part of why Perugius no likely the feeling of looking at it. I love that this series is brand new as a visual spectacle! I hope to keep learning more.

But now that I think on it Raditz and Nappa are clear and Kackorat must be a Carrot. lol. lol. I know the names gimmicks though Trunks and Bulma and Bra lol. Just not top of mind lol. I know they have other gimmicks for names too, but I don’t remember them all When I think Saiyans. It’s Vegeta, Goku, Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Pan lol. so sorry I really don’t think of the vegetables.

It’s basically the same as mine. He uses inflammatory descriptions and jokes that borderline blasphemy to my ears. What we believe is essentially the same , how we deliver it is the difference. Since we believe in basically the same, he was trying to attach his jokes and viewpoints with mine But I felt his jokes and inflammatory dialogue would be distracting to my message. They would stop hearing my point of view and get distracted by his inflammatory remarks and start with their weird comments. And a serious message become an argument or jokes. That’s why he didn’t even bother share, lol. He would essentially be repeating the same thing I said and we would extend the clock for another 3 to 5 minutes. That’s why he was being efficient rather than have his own gratified minutes he was trying to include his points with mine. Lol. If you listen to Tanya’s Intro which was 10 minutes, you’ll see that I put a lot of effort into my communication and he does not care lol. And then, in the last five minutes of the reaction you’ll see I separated myself several times from his remarks, but he kept attaching his point of view to mine lol My cohosts tend to want to marry their points of view with mine but won’t talk much if I stop talking and let them talk on certain points

So is the last episodes of this season the life of his future self just shown to us while reads the diary. One thing about Mushoku Tensei it has one of the best storytelling pacing done, always when watching this I almost hope I rather read the novels first than learn this from anime. MT truly is peak story.
