Yall really should play the game, if you did you would know about soul killer. Yall really have to react to the story of Cyberpunk 2077's story. basically a terroist named johnny silverhand blew up arasaka tower with a nuke and was captured by arasaka and had soulkiller used on him. He stayed on a construct for 50 some odd years until the MC V pulled off a heist on arasaka's CEO's son who had the construct. things when tits up when the CEO of arasak was killed by his son and the blame fell on V and his friend jackie who now had to fight their way out of the building. during the escape the containment case of the construct was damaged and jackie had to put the shard in his neuro slot to save it, after the escape jackie died and had V slot the shard. V was then betrayed by the fixer for the gig and was shot in the head which killed him, but the shard activated and started to fix the damage and overwrite V's consciousness with Johnny's. TLDR: soul killer erases a person's consciousness and saves it to a shard where, once its implanted, kille the person it was implnated on and that construct takes over the body. Saburo, Arasak CEO, used this tech to take over his sons body, capri is A personality construct of hundereds of humans combined.

I feel like your discussions here really grasped what life here in Night City would be like. Corpos run the world, violence is everywhere, people don't even really look like people anymore sometimes, so why would there be any meaningful connections anywhere? Like you said with Yupi, she's presented as trustworthy but you still felt like you wouldn't trust her, and I guess that's just what trust means here in Night City. It's fast and loose. You're not meeting chooms for life, you're meeting chooms for this week until one of you gets shot lol
