What I think is that mc killed that demon lord and took its form. I mean in episode where demon lord and all the other demon army generals? were having a meeting they were talking lile that demon lord replaced the old one pretty recently and what we see is 15 years ago and she was demon lord back then as well, mc taking that form after killing the old demon lord kinda makes sense. Maybe I'm tripping.

Keloz

old post but gonna mention it anyway after those 4 names you got a list of 21 ppl and the 4 names are struck so it's not showing all the names

Damiester

To be fair, if your brain's being hacked, wouldn't you have beef with the assailant? lol

Damiester

BTW, the labyrinth guide who refused to help Schlain was the same dude you saw on episode 6. It's a neat callback even for anime-onlies. He was helping Julius and his party.

AbelToGame

Director blew my mind I never even thought about looking at the names that the teacher says are "dead".

Comments need to use Spoiler tags and read more.

Who had the best Swim suit? Anna, Filimøs, Katia, Fei or Kumoko? Kumoko is number one!!!

isthil

I'm guessing she takes that demon lords form cuz that has to be her in the future thats my guess anyway

Kyle Kowalchuk

So we just learn the Demon Lord's name is Ariel and that she is a Origin Taratect. Would that not make her Grandma?

Ltnorm

This is just me but wouldn´t it make more sence if "Mother" called for help from the Demon Lord since she is the Original Taratect and from what I see she has no real defence against the paralell minds so she called for help, but that´s just me..

R'ja Norr

You guys being trolled so hard. It's fun to watch.

Assuming mama is right under demon lord, then yeah, that would be grandma. Grandma comin over here be like "STOP F****ng with my kid!"

BTW the guide who DID help Schlain, was the guide for the team of humans that first discovered the Nightmare of the Labyrinth (Kumoko) ~15 years back. This team was not shown in the anime. This is a LN detail.

It does. This one little "rebellious" spider is killing anyone she sends to retrieve her, too fast and nimble to hit with her own attacks, and is attacking her mentally. Obviously this "brat" is too much for her, so it makes sense to call upon her own superior to deal with her "problem child".

Which is why I didn't mention it lol. They talked about not wanting to know LN details.

Damn Demon Lord is actually the great great great great grandma spider, damn still good story this anime has been. While I do hate skill type stories like these where everything has to be some kind of skill + lvl.

Or is she a great great great grandma. As it says she is a original spider and ancient divine beast. She might have been alive when they showed those fast flashbacks to a goddess being cruficied and the world started to collapse.
