I know this show has some subtitle errors here and there throughout, but this episode had an unusual number of them, to the point it is kind of embarrassing.

oh please, that's not wholesome, that's just naive. Those same soldiers were happy to slaughter the people in rimuru's town when he was out. Being commanded to kill doesn't suddenly give you free rein to kill. Just like they have families, the people they were commanded to kill also have families. They are NOT innocent by any means. Hell, they even later show these soldiers in camp talking about how they were going to rape the monster women...

Nah you say myulan is good because clayman has her heart but if you sacrifice a fuck ton of people just because YOU don't wanna die, then you deserve torture town.

As someone mentioned on the Slime S2 ep 8 video, you've switched the numbers around, this is ep 8, while the one labelled 8, is really ep 9.

Not gonna lie, my heart sank when I saw how happy you guys were to have the lady and the 10,000+ people die. I'm such a wholesome innocent person that I would not have even had a drop of killing intent toward them. The only ones I would want to die are those with bad intentions and enjoy killing. There are soldiers who have families and are just being commanded to kill. The leadership is the main issue. Also, I was scared about him becoming a Demon Lord because he could become more cold hearted. Revenge and power is a slippery slope. Now I'm NOT saying, "shame on you guys!", I was just taken aback by your guys reactions 😅.

To be fair tho, you know what you are getting into when you enter the army. Even if they didn't have bad intent, I doubt most if not all of them have blood on their hands already.
