coming back to this this was hella spoilers lol

TheErisianMonk

Damn. You both seemed so distracted and noncommitted for this episode. Seeing the Patrwon really shows that. I thought you'd both miss the whole point of the illusion attack, and then "Shen" being a chick threw everything off? I am so glad that you both got really into this series as it went on. It's one of my favorite series reacted to on the channel. At least you two always seem to be having a world of fun! Buddy goals....

Tim See

Eh different videos so who knows the crossover lol :P

Tim See

Ah yes, judging an entire show by the first episode where they introduce and explain things. What a perfectly normal and logical thing to do.

Nick

LETSSSS GOOOOOOO

Thamor

Been waiting for this all week =)

Ltnorm

Yesssss :)

MONDO

Let's gooooo

Damiester

lol imagine if RockLee skipped Tsuki ga Michibiku after it wins every poll cause he hates the character designs.

Damiester

Nobody has it worse than Kumoko when it comes to isekai beginnings, but this was pretty harsh in a way. Also, Tsukuyomi (Moon God)'s a famous figure in Japanese mythology on the same rank as Amaterasu (Sun Goddess) and Susanowo (Sea God). You'll see these pop up in many mangas like Naruto.

Magride

pretty sure there is worst but not as degrading

Xsardes

Don't judge book by it's cover...but from ep 1 alone it proudly takes the top 1 spot on "the worst shit I've seen this year" list...There are 3 ways of having OP MC: 1. "The plot heavy way" = the hardest to do right, basicly what Overlord did 2. "The comedy way" = just make it into comedy lol, basicly Cautious Hero 3. "The wrong way" = everything else From ep1 alone, world/plot litteraly dont exist, so that is out of the window, comedy...meby a bad one, or just not my type of comedy...I hope it will get good but I don't think it will :(

Skebaba

A shame that they used a gendered pronoun instead of a neutral one (English doesn't rly have an organic neutral one like Japanese does for pronouns)

Skebaba

The 3 are literally siblings, no?

Skebaba

Ye. It should had been a more ambiguous one in Japanese (many mango translations fuck it up too, tbh, when it's supposed to be a surprise)

Nick

Then you may have missed numerous plot points. I guess due to the sped up nature of the anime right now. But the fact being. 1. This world is still in danger the whole reason he was summoned was to protect it but then was thrown to the side as the goddess found someone else. 2. The fact that his parents were from the world.. Maybe family might still be there? 3. The building of his town

Nick

I won't say this series is a master piece of story telling but it does dip it's hands into the story, comedy and world building aspect.

Brian Carotenuto

Don't think it's a trap all you have to do is look at bleach with Yoruichi I think everyone thought that she was going to be a guy when she was talking in her cat form but hey if that's a trap I'll be happy to fall for it

Brian Carotenuto

Yoruichi 1st appeared as a little black cat ( with a man's voice) and then when Ichigo got hurt she revealed herself as the gorgeous woman that she is when he asked how did she carry him to that cave

Damiester

Sounds like a very restrictive way to judge stories. But judging from your frequent usage of superlatives, I can't really trust your tastes anyways lol.

Elijah Moffett

Yoruichi Shinoe. The dark skinned woman that teaches ichigo a bunch of shit in the soul society arc? The one who initially met ichigo as a talking black cat with a unmistakably manly voice. Who we didnt get to see her human form until like %50 - %75 of the way through said arc?
