Great reaction you got to remember this is a different sword the one that he had before that can absorb magic was taken this is more of a status effect debuff sword you know on video games you have like five poison to your enemy after attacking and they slowly die out yeah this sword of racist stuff like that

regarding what adorkable said at the beginning, it's been said it's not just about strength when it comes to the wizard king. It's merit and fugeleon and nozelle seem to have the most merit in terms of what they have done and how people percieve them

You guys totally skipped when the sword originally came out. 😡AND you skipped where Asta tried to touch Father with his original sword and it had no effect. There are other “filler” episodes like this and it will leave you with a WTF just happened?

To clear things up there are 3 swords: All 3 swords can slice, block, and negative magic. 1. Demon Slayer Sword (Big Sword) -Unique Ability: Reflect magic with the flat side of the blade. 2. Demon Dweller Sword (Slim Sword with lines in middle; Found in the Dungeon) -Unique Ability: Can absorb magic and shoot it back. (What Licht was doing in the fight) 3. *New Sword* Demon Destroyer Sword -Unique Ability: Can cancel and nullify the effects of magic, poison, elf spirit etc. Meaning after the magic is longer active it can erase the effects caused by the magic.

I think it's ok to skip that type of episode, but you guys really need to pay attention to next episode's recap, cause they showed the few new moments including the one he mentioned (asta using his other sword on the father) but since it was a recap you guys were still discussing other stuff and missed it.

Licht's magic is Sword magic not light . The swords when asta has them use anti-magic for a different reason.

Yeah we literally mute the ending music of the shows we watch so the music doesn’t get picked up in the discussion. We do this on every series. Black clover is unique as it’s the first series anyone says anything about it

Pretty sure Licht had a 4 leaf clover grimoire and Asta has a 5 leaf one. When Asta first got his they explained how a 5 leaf one is created. I won’t explain it because it will become more clear soon
