Okay proud and happy Director finally eased up on our girl haha I was starting to get worried he might not let her be understood cause I relate to her a lot. Like not the CEO daughter part but being the only child to a narcissistic parent had me trying to do anything to get out and worse we were poor so just remove the rich part from it and I think you'll find her really relateable. I think she acted this role phenomenally.

Also the cigarette thing isn't an indirect kiss thing, that only applies to food and drinks respectfully. In high school sharing cigarettes its a necessity because there's scarcity ~ Also! I kind of love that we get a glimpse into trainee culture. So basically as an idol trainee, you have to be perfect in order to debut and you pay for the training and room out of your own pocket so if you don't make it, it's literally years of your life down the drain and what makes it worse it that you also can't just switch agencies if you feel like it because most of the time they trap you in a ten year contract so even in you quit you can't go back or try a different company. To make matters even worse, sometimes you can be there for ten years and have someone who's been there a month debut in an idol group while you end up still waiting for your big break.

Oh and last comment I promise but as a woman, watching that scene with the aggressive CEO and how he held on to guru's hand just stroking her wrist made me so uncomfortable and I just want to say if a guy does that it's a predatory power play and gross. Don't touch girls without their permission pls. Blegh

D-Nasty at 23:50, HAHAHAHAHAHA. He literally was analyzing Gyuri’s behavior and what she said to the teachers, and then said “Nah, I think you’re right” when the bully was smiling to one of his lackeys, lol. That was so funny!

Exactly; teachers or whoever from the school employees will totally let your parents know or something, lol.

Hyuri... The iPad will leaves tracks. It’s better if Mr. Lee has an old flip phone that works cause it’s more inconspicuous and low-key. “Share the records via email”? That will leave a trace… Unless, she wants Mr. Lee and Jisoo to get caught by the police or maybe have a record so she can report it to the police? To me it seems like Gyuri just wants to know the deets on the business so she can maybe drive Mr. Lee to her own side and leave Jisoo with nothing; she’s going to steal his business model. UGGGH, why didn’t he changed that locker’s passcode?!

Guys, singers (male and female no matter their sexuality) all use makeup, haha. They need to match their album concepts and they need to look a certain way for the camera. They do use more makeup than western male singers I suppose, so it may be shocking to some people when they see it for the first time.

No worries on waiting on Vincenzo, but I do hope you guys enjoyed the first 4 episodes. The character development makes up for its length. I can’t force an interest on you but I do hope the show is something you actually enjoy, because I love this one 😊 💖you guys!

Love Director's analysis every time. I didn't understand what that conversation at the beginning meant with the whole "I want to barf because of the smell of my breath." Mind blown from take that it might've meant being able to smell her breath meant she was still alive and she hates it.

Episode 2 is dope. Episode 1 was iffy. Ha. I like the Fiesty Corporate lawyer. I dunno what is with me and Women with attitude, is super cute in Asian Shows. Especially since I’m not used to watching them. So it’s brand new stimuli. I only had like 1 Asian female friend. This is an exciting world lol

Andre

I was wondering how long Director was going to stay mad at shorty, looks like he is team Bae now lol

Molokolulush

Sharing cigarettes between men is a normal thing. At least from my own experience with the homies back in the day. Anyways great reaction

Ky Williams

bruh you would get clowned so bad if you got caught with a pocket pussy😂😂😂you would get suspended here for sure so over there it woulda been bad

Agreed. I don't know about the West but I'm Asian and so far I've never viewed it as a weird thing especially if you're in high school. Because in high school, cigarettes are hard to come by because it's prohibited to minors and it's costly because high school kids usually don't have any source of income. So usually we would share 1 cigarette between friends and make sure never ever let any cigarette go to waste. Once I got into college it's still a thing but not as normal because most of us have our own cigarettes and its not hard to come by. Anyways, I've stopped smoking for 2 years now but this was my experience.

Sharing like that is an indirect kiss hence all my suspicions aand the bully was so clingy and touchy, i dunno and relatively pretty and well groomed. By the end of the show i let it go. Now i know for the next kdrama. Wasn’t really trying to judge him though. In western shows , you see that and 3 episodes later dudes are making out lol. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ Lol. Thought that’s what was happening lol

director finally getting on the Bae supremacy train😌

Ophelia Pane

The gansta was funny at first but then he turned into Dextor.

Nah Lee don't worry I got you. It can be interpreted multiple ways. Just wanted to let you know for me personally it's normal (cigarettes). Another experience is sharing drinks. If a girl gives me a drink that she drank from then yeah I'd feel like that but for some reason if I'm with the homies I don't think of it that way even though some people might. Cause we usually share drinks and stuff in high school but I used to not like sharing straws/drinks with other dudes because of hygiene reasons but my friends would tell me not to make a big deal out of it and eventually I got used to it. I was in a boarding school by the way so our bond is kinda tight compared to normal friends. Of course there are actual people who are into that and take advantage of our closeness but not all of them

Ashley

LOL funny seeing director finally coming around

Jaheem Ali

When Director said the momma would make her bark and then Lee reacted, Director thought Lee was think something lewd, When Director finally puts it together that Bae made the MC bark. Director covering his mouth had me dying. He be spitting without even realizing. lol

Random Guy

He started caring for Bae because she literally put herself in the line to protect him. It made him think that this wasn't just some game to her. Another is he also relates to having asshole parents. Last but not the least, he probably felt bad that something really bad happened to her that she tried to kill herself. Also can't wait for Vincenzo. Another kdrama similar to Vincenzo is "the good manager".
